We are a 20 minute drive from Lake Eppalock which is a great spot for those who love their fishing, boating and swimming. We are 10 minutes from the O'Keefe Trail which is perfect for those who like to explore by bike or by foot.
There are a variety of great wineries and cellar doors nearby for you to explore, most of who sell their own local produce. Local pub and a variety of cafes are all within a 15 minutes drive.
We are also close to 4WD and motorbike tracks, campers are not permitted to ride motorbikes on the property.
Campfires are permitted out of the fireban season, please check the CFA website to be up to date with any restrictions at the time of your stay. Campers must use the fire drum available to them. The shelter area also an old BBQ that you are welcome to use.

The city of Bendigo is 25mins drive. Epsom is a 15min drive where you will find a shopping centre which includes a petrol station, Woollies, Pizza, Chemist Warehouse, Aldi, Brumbys Bakery, Reject Shop, Fish and Chips and BWS. Lake Eppalock is a 25min drive where you can engage in water sport activities. The Campaspe River is 10mins away.
The farm is very quiet and restful with the sounds of abundant native bird life and provides great subjects and scenery for the photographic enthusiast. Loud, party groups with music at high volume are not permitted. Chainsaws and motorbikes are also not permitted.

Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks.
We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies.
Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible.
Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by.
Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely be on the day and we will advise as such. Our interest is with your safety, our neighbors and our property and our family.

Pitch your completely self-sufficient sleeping quarters on our peaceful, flat, 7 acre property which backs onto the Bald Hill Nature Reserve and is less than five minutes drive from Kyneton’s historic Piper Street which is full of delightful restaurants and cafes.
Take under an hour to drive up and explore beautiful Bendigo, experience delightful Daylesford nearby and meander around the wonderful wineries of the Macedon Ranges.
Campfires are allowed subject to local fire restrictions and must be fully extinguished before you turn in for the night. Please search for the CFA website 'Fire Danger Period: Can I or Can't I?' which has all of the appropriate information. Each site has a fire pit which you can use providing it is not a total fire ban.
Firewood is available at a cost to you of $50 per wheelbarrow load which will easily cover two nights.
We have four separate camping locations on the property; you can easily have up to four RVs on sites 1, 2 and 4 and two on site 3. We have tried to ensure privacy for each location but you may be able to see other guests and/or the house through the many trees.
Please be aware that there are two dams on the property so children should supervised at all times. My own children swim in the dam and there is a kayak available but lifejackets must be worn by children in, around and on the water to minimise risk.
Pets are welcome. The kangaroos may prove quite enticing for some pets and as such we recommend dogs be kept on their leash. Site 4 has ringlock fencing and farm gates which can be helpful to contain your pets.
Please be aware that the Kyneton Gun Club has their monthly clay target shoot on the 3rd Sunday of each month (2nd Sunday in December) from 11am until 5pm during which time you will hear them clay pigeon shooting.
We are NOT a commercial campsite and, as such, you must be fully self-contained for power, water, showers, sewage, refuse disposal, etc.
Guests under the age of 25 must be accompanied by their parents.

Beautiful spot and a great setting for our last night of camping on the road. Adrian was very welcoming and our dog had a wonderful time off-leash. Sites are nice and flat with good fit pits, views are lovely (even from the toilet!), and beautiful trees surrounding the site - a great spot!

Really good private camping area by some trees and a dam. Decent facilities with drinking water and a portable toilet available. A firepit with seating and picnic table compliment the space. Facilities were clean and tidy, and well looked after. This time, I camped alone, but would be so much fun with a small group, especially in the cooler months where you can use the firepit area. Thanks again!

Absolutely Loved Our Stay at Lancefield Lake Campground!
We just spent a fantastic day at the Lancefield Lake campground and had to share our experience.
The star of the show is, without a doubt, the stunning lake itself. Our lakeside spot offered breathtaking views from morning until night. Waking up to mist over the glassy water and ending the day with a fiery sunset reflecting on the surface was pure magic. It's incredibly peaceful and scenic.
A major plus was the excellent infrastructure. The public restroom and shower facilities were exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Having access to reliable hot showers and spotless toilets really elevates the whole camping experience. The sites were well-defined, and the overall grounds were tidy and orderly.
It's the perfect blend of beautiful nature and convenient, clean facilities. We felt completely relaxed and will definitely be back! Highly recommend booking a lakeside spot for the full experience.

Chrissy’s land was perfect for our stay—peaceful, with a hot shower and toilet. We were alone on the site, which made it ideal. Communication was excellent, even when I had to call Chrissy to locate the toilet. She wasn’t on site, but her mother kindly assisted us. A lovely and relaxed experience. We will definitely come back if we pass nearby!

This would have been a great stay if the weather was not as hot as it was. With 42 deg days predicted over three days we just struggled with the heat and had to leave early.
There is plenty of space if you free camp and I would think it would be a great place to stay in Autumn winter time, the host was really friendly and accomodating. I would have no hesitation in recommending Somerville Park.

Chrissy was an awesome host- so kind and welcoming and easy to contact. The shower and toilet were clean and good pressure with a good flush! The property was nice especially because of all the animals. We really enjoyed our time here. Thanks for having us :)

Loved our time while camping on the land. Owners showed us to our site and with the hot weather coming, they suggested we could change spots if we wanted to so we could have more shade which we accepted. Kangeroos came to visit at dusk and had visits from the sheep.

We stayed here and it was exactly what we wanted. Quiet. Private. Open space with lake views. Mornings were calm by the water. Nights were dark enough to see the stars and sit by the fire. No crowds. No noise. Amenities were clean and practical. A stunning, easy place to camp/caravan and slow down.

I loved the privacy. The water access( my dog loved it!) The kangaroos that casually hop past. The communication from Prue and Steve was fantastic. Overall great place for a few days of reset time.

Beautiful and peaceful campsite with a mystical morning view. The site is well spaced and private, away from other campers. Bathrooms and toilets were clean, and waking up to the sounds of birds and cows was very relaxing. We also saw wildlife like kangaroos, which made the stay extra special. Highly recommended for a quiet nature escape.

Lancefield Lakes is a peaceful and relaxing camping spot by a dam that is home to many birds. Upon arrival we were greeted a guided to a site that suited our needs, shaded by the trees and close to the amenities and dam. Other campers were far enough apart, it felt we were quite isolated. Jemilla is organised and quick to reply, both before and during our stay. Late check out is also appreciated.

Very welcoming, warm and helpful. I was in a bit of a spot with a camper power malfunction and Chrissy was most helpful.
There's also a wonderful menagerie of dogs, birds and other creatures there. The shower is a beauty.

Perfect spot for a getaway, close to lots of attractions or sit back & relax watching the wildlife. Close to Hume but hardly hear the traffic, lots of trains but didn’t worry us. Recommend 😊

Lovely spot with lots of privacy. If it’s forecasting wind come prepared with tie downs for your awning. The views are worth it :) Joel was an excellent communicator and went above and beyond to help me set up and feel safe and supported. Will definitely return one day ☺️

We were at Badgery Point in two caravans with friends for 3 nights. We all loved it and would love to go back there one day. There is a lot of space and so you can feel like you are camping alone even with others there. The views of the water were beautiful and we managed to experience weather from hot and still to windy and stormy. The sky over the Basin was just amazing during the storm! Rushworh is a gorgeous town and is very close to Badgery Point, so a short drive to a pub meal, IGA, bakery, coffee shop and a great op shop. Thanks Paula.
