Great site, we had the whole place to ourselves including the shared kitchen area and fire place. The host is very nice and makes sure you have everything you need. Multiple sites in the field but they are fairly far away from each other. Dogs loved it!

Weekend Trip to Halacal Farm

We stayed in the cabin and it was amazing. It is such an incredible location with great views and nice and secluded up the back of the property. Luke was a great host, he was very welcoming and friendly. We were also able to feed the highland cows which was such an incredible experience. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend a weekend.

Weekend Trip to Cedar Valley Farm

The Retro Caravan was such a fun getaway especially with weather that was less than perfect! We brought our two doggo's with us and it was hard to tell who enjoyed themselves more! Beautiful scenery up on a hill with the morning fog and evening sunsets, the interior of the caravan was super cosy and well serviced with a warm shower, loo and fire heated spa! In the wet weather a 4wd was required to get up to the caravan but i imagine it would not be as tricky in better weather - best to ask Mitch though before you arrive. Mitch was a great host, so helpful and a very reliable communicator. Location of the van close enough to Dungog for pies and a stroll around town or the base of Barrington Tops - we had a stop at Ladies Well which was flowing and so serene.

Weekend Trip to Lovedale Farm Stay & Horseriding

We brought the kids for a Farm stay experience and they loved it! We stayed in the ‘Blue Wren’ villa for the long weekend and it had everything we needed for 2 small children.. Margaret, Russell and April were very kind and welcoming. It’s a beautiful place to stay and the kids loved feeding the animals, the tractor ride, pony ride & peddle carts. Great location, easy drive to the wineries etc.

A lovely secluded cabin a few minutes walk from local amenities and pub. Great location to base yourself when visiting the area. Cabin was well equipped, as others have mentioned the outside shower is excellent and the fire pit was great for the cooler evenings.

The Bower is a very special place. We had the most wonderful time connecting as a family in nature enjoying the beautiful set up that Rachel & Matt have so thoughtfully created. The attention to detail is second to none, the yurt is so comfortable, the outdoor kitchen and showers set up is brilliant, and the heated bath under the stars is unforgettable. Moreover, the wallabies bouncing across the field, and the little creek behind the yurt gave us hours of nature’s best entertainment.

Incredible experience. Such a beautiful property and welcoming hosts. Margaret was lovely to deal with and breakkie at their pub in town The Thirsty Horse was great too! We only stayed at the glamping site for one night, but wow — what a magical time we had! The vast land, with wallabies and cows and birds singing. The amazing amenities: the outdoor tub, the kitchen, the comforts of the tent. The highlight was having a hot bath under the starry sky and topping it off with marshmallows by the fire. The Bower Farm was absolutely stunning, Rach and Matt were great hosts and very accommodating. We loved our stay so much it was hard to leave. The tent was clean and cozy and had plenty of games/books to keep you entertained. Picking our own sunflowers in the field was a highlight, alongside relaxing by the fire on the hammock and soaking under the stars in the hot tub. Highly recommend staying here if you want uninterrupted time in nature. Will definitely be back.

We almost had the whole place to ourselves, and absolutely loved the privacy. Our host, Hannah, mentioned that if we’d arrived just a few days earlier, it would’ve been packed out, so our timing was luckily spot on! The facilities were spotless, and the river was fun for rock hopping, fishing and swimming, cold but invigorating! You felt the temperature instantly drop as soon as you’re down by the river, perfect for escaping the midday heat. Our hosts, Hannah and Jessie, were super friendly and made us feel right at home. 🩷 We loved 🔥 Fire pit & wood supplied 🍃 Plenty of space and privacy ✨ Stargazing, super special 🎣 Fishing .. we caught an eel and threw it back 😂 💧 River swimming, ROPE SWING 🏠 Admiring the quirky costum built cabins that hug the river

The perfect tree tops escape

A long drive to the top and then a 1.6k walk into the water fall. Grade 3 not an option for us as we have young kids and didn’t realise how far it was
