Welcome to “The Dingo Shedaton” – Your Private Country Escape Escape to a true piece of paradise at The Dingo Shedaton, where you’ll leave feeling completely rejuvenated. Nestled on 330 acres of rolling hills and peaceful countryside, our property offers the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. Conveniently located just 2.5 hours north of Wahroonga via the M1, we are only 15 minutes from Stroud, 20 minutes from Dungog, and 40 minutes from Gloucester. Whether you’re pitching a tent under the stars or relaxing in our comfortable bespoke farm-style cabin, nature and wildlife are right at your doorstep. Wake up to spectacular, uninterrupted views of mountains, valleys, and endless star-filled skies. With plenty of space between campsites, you can enjoy total privacy and the peaceful sounds of nature. During your stay, you’re welcome to feed and interact with our friendly cattle, relax in the heated swim spa, explore the creek and surrounding countryside, ride push bikes along quiet country roads, or unwind beside the outdoor fire pit or cosy indoor fireplace. Accommodation: Camp Facilities: Camping is available for tents only, and all-wheel-drive vehicles are required for access. Our self-contained bespoke farm-style cabin sleeps up to 8 guests and is perfect for those wanting extra comfort. Amenities include a hot outdoor shower, a flushing toilet connected to a septic system, and rainwater for showering and cooking (please bring your own drinking water). Campfires are welcome in the provided fire pits, subject to local fire bans, and firewood is included. Explore the Region - If you feel like heading out, nearby towns offer fuel, groceries, cafés, and classic country pubs, with Stroud just 15 minutes away, Dungog 20 minutes, and Gloucester 40 minutes. Important Information: Pets are welcome but must be supervised and kept on a leash when near cattle. We follow a strict Leave No Trace policy, so please take all rubbish with you. Quiet hours are observed from 9 PM to 7 AM to maintain the peaceful atmosphere for all guests. Please note the main homestead is approximately 100 metres from the self-contained cabin, but your privacy will not be interrupted.
