Lovegrass camp is such a beautiful camp! Well kept and stocked with firewood. Lovely gift on arrival from Kristy.
Local winery tour operator even picked up from site!

The Back Shed
The Back Shed Site was well set out and a perfect camp site for us. Private and elevated with views to the west and sunsets. The cozy shed and fire pit area was very well presented, and extremely useful. Appreciated the welcome gift from Kristy very much. The location is excellent, close to many of the Granite Belt’s best spots.

Not a lot here to look at, but a fabulous place to unwind and just relax. Close to towns and a just a quick trip to a dump point, so no worries about no ammenities. Kristy is the perfect host, a treat awaits you upon arrival and well worth the trip to Speakeasy Vineyard.

We’ve now stayed twice at Speakeasy Vineyard, and once again Kristy made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. This time we spent 2 nights at the “Top Shed” site, and it was exactly the cosy little getaway we needed.
The site itself is peaceful, quiet, and has beautiful views that make it easy to completely switch off and relax. The little tin shed is such a great touch too — perfect for a bit of cover and adds real character to the camp spot. Combined with the raised firepit area, it creates an awesome atmosphere to sit back in the evenings and enjoy the surroundings.
Kristy has done a fantastic job creating camp spots that feel private, comfortable, and accommodating without losing that natural country charm. We previously stayed at “Lovegrass Cove” as well, and both sites have their own unique feel while still offering the same welcoming experience.
Highly recommend Speakeasy Vineyard to anyone chasing a peaceful escape with a genuinely friendly host. We’ll definitely be back again.

Lovegrass Cove
We were only there for a night as we travelled through on road trip.. it was amazing and the chairs were on point to see where the stars and milky way were! As soon as the children stepped foot, they were thrilled and begged us to stay longer! We are ever so grateful for people like Kristy who are open to sharing their home with complete strangers! Thank you so much! Our only regret is not being able to stay longer! Must visit!

Lovegrass Cove
Enjoyed a 3 night stay at Lovegrass Cove, Speakeasy Vineyard. Lovely place for stargazing as very dark sky. Appreciated the thoughtful welcome gift of wine and local produce. Dam is low so hope the rain comes soon for everyone out there at Stanthorpe. Don’t use online maps to guide you, just look for the street number on small stake at driveway entrance.

It's close to Stanthorpe , Girraween and Sundown National Parks . Highly recommend.

This is a pleasant spot however the camp site is small for a group. While we were there, there was a lot of flies. The site was very private and quiet.

We enjoyed our stay, good sized area, plenty of room to setup. Fire pit, lights and chairs and the welcome pack all a nice touch. We both had a great time, our two dogs enjoyed their stay also.

We loved our overnight stay at this cute site. It’s very private and pretty with so much nature around. You can hear the frog orchestras and it’s just beautiful. The welcome gifts were a sweet bonus! We visited a local winery and will definitely be back for longer to see more of what this area has to offer. Thanks Kristy

We were extremely happy with the site. It was very private, well looked after and central to all the spots we wanted to visit🍷. We loved heading out for an afternoon walk to see the horse and pony on the property, both very friendly and a great touch. The welcome gifts just added that extra bit of love.

What a beautiful little set up this was. Easy to find and plenty of room for whatever set up. Site was near and tidy. Quiet enough. Host was very lovely. Nice to sit by the dam, the creek was also running behind us, views of the hills with the blossoming yellow flowers. Perfect location, not far from Stanthorpe, or from girraween and Ballandean. I think there’s a high chance we will be coming back.

We had great time camping at Speakeasy Vineyard. I’m glad we stayed at the Back Shed because the site was totally private and away from the main house and other campsite. There was plenty of wood on the property for the fire and we received some welcome goodies which was a very nice touch. Our only negative is that the truck traffic on the highway was very noticeable.

An absolutely delightful place to camp!
The site was nicely decorated with fairy lights, chairs and a good size camp fire place.
We appreciated the extra thoughtful goodies that greeted us on arrival.

Love grass cove was even better than we expected. Such a cute, private and picturesque camp site. The host was available if we had any questions and even let us check out an hour later to let our tent dry out. The wine and jam was delicious and so generous.
We will definitely come back!

This place is a little hidden gem. What a beautiful secluded spot. My husband and I had such a beautiful time being in nature and what a beautiful gesture to receive a bottle of wine and some local goodies, felt very spoilt and relaxed. Will 100% go back again. Thank you for having us
