Escape to our peaceful 25-acre hideaway nestled among shady mango trees — the perfect spot to unwind and soak up spectacular dry season sunsets. Or if you prefer power and water that is closer to the amenities block, we have a few limited spots We’re ideally located just a short turn off the Arnhem Highway and only 2 km from the Humpty Doo Hotel (great for a classic pub meal!). Shops and fuel are close by, so you can stock up before heading out to explore. **Nearby adventures from our property: ** 🐊 **20 mins** — Cruise with the famous Jumping Crocodiles on the Adelaide River 🌴 **1 hour** — Swim under waterfalls at Litchfield National Park 🌆 **30 mins** — Pop into Darwin city for restaurants, markets, and nightlife 🐶 Dog-friendly: We love furry guests! Please keep dogs under control at all times to protect our livestock and local wildlife. An experienced resident dog groomer is on site and may be available for grooming or pet-sitting (just ask!). 🔥 Campfires: Campfires are allowed in designated fire pits only and must be fully extinguished before leaving or sleeping. Please check with us for any seasonal bans. ⏰ Check-in & Check-out: Check-in: From 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM Check-out: By 1:00 PM If you’d like an early check-in or late check-out, just let us know — we’re flexible where we can be! ✅ Site rules: Please respect other campers and keep noise to a minimum after 10 PM. Leave no trace — take all rubbish with you or use bins provided. Be mindful of native wildlife and livestock on the property. Children must be supervised at all times. Come pitch your tent or park your van under the mango trees and enjoy a laid-back camping experience in the Top End.Sites down under the mango trees are off grid but you can still walk up to use the amenities block. We have limited power water sites available. We are on 25 acres and it is almost fully fenced it is a lovely walk around the mango trees or you or kids can ride there bikes.

Buffs Shady Mango Camping
Camping at Buffs Shady Mango camp was a wonderful experience. The place and nature was so peaceful every morning for 18 days. We stayed close to amenities for convenience but to go right down the back under the mango trees would be ideal for a natural existence. Great for our k9 companion Blue and the hosts were friendly and helpful. We have felt a sense of loss leaving today to a conventional caravan park

Nicely located in humpty doo, not far away from the pup and supermarket, bit far enough from the street to be quiet at night. Annabele and Buff are lovely people, that care about their guest's, our ute broke down and they even offered tools and space to fix it. Amenities are simple, but good. They try not to overcrowd the place so 4 toilets and a hot shower are enough. Even two washing machines and cloth lines are provided. The place is massive so you got the choice where to set camp, if you dont like other people you could stay 200m away from anyone hiding behind old mangotrees. Would definitely stay again, if in that area👍

Buffs Shady Mango Camping
We loved our stay at Buffs Campground. If you’re after a laid-back, no-fuss spot to unwind, this place is perfect. Set on a large open paddock surrounded by bush and mango trees, it’s peaceful and quiet — just how we like it. There’s not a lot of shade, but since it’s unallocated camping, you can pick your own spot and be a bit strategic about it. If you’re after power and proximity to the amenities block, your options are a little more limited, but still very workable. The amenities are basic but clean (don’t forget your own toilet paper), and everything you need for a comfortable stay is there. What really makes Buffs special, though, are the owners. Bill is hands-down one of the nicest, most generous people we’ve ever met — a true larrikin with a heart of gold. Annette is equally lovely and super helpful. They made us feel welcome, like family, and really elevate the whole experience. We’d absolutely stay again.

Bill and Annette were the loveliest hosts you could ask for - they even invited us to join them and some friends for a bbq and we felt very welcome. Great site too - lovely and quiet and good amenities with a hot shower available.

Bill & Annette were lovely hosts at Buff’s shady mango farm. They made our whole family very welcome & were knowledgeable about the local area. There was plenty of shady space to camp & we appreciated having toilets & shower & washing machine available. We found it a peaceful spot to base ourselves as we explored Darwin & Adelaide River. Thanks again Bill & Annette.

Stayed just the one night but could have easily stayed more here. Absolutely lovely hosts who came to check in on us and make sure we had everything we needed, including more fire wood which bill went out and cut. A lot of space to set up your own camping spot, far enough out that it's peaceful and quiet. Convenient shower/toilet block with good hot water, bbq area to use and washing machines for laundry which we didn't need to use is a bit plus, highly recommended place to stay.

Bill and Annette are the friendliest, most accommodating hosts you could ask for. Great facilities, lots of space, and lovely walk around the property with plenty of birds to spot. Was an awesome base to visit and explore the Darwin area!

Great camp spot, an easy drive to both the jumping crocodile tour and Kakadu. It was lovely and quiet camping amongst the mango trees, highly recommend.

We have loved staying at buffs shady mango camp. We booked 1 week and are still here for our 3rd week. Annette and bill make you feel so welcome and are so friendly. There is plenty of space for the kids to roam. It has been absolute bliss.
