A Very Vineyard Sleep

Loved our night here watching sun set over the vines and olive trees
We had the whole site to ourselves, drank the vineyards wine and had a gorgeous sleep.

Secluded with wine and pizza

Had a great Easter long weekend nestled among the vines. Short stroll to the winery for homemade pizza and pleasant live music, rolled down the hill to the quite secluded campsite for a peaceful evening. Only 10- 12 minutes to the delights of Mudgee. Need to be self contained.

Pretty yet pricey

Overall- pretty site.. however very overpriced for what you get (a carspot off the side of their driveway)
When we booked it was said that a wine tasting and olive oil tasting was included, that was not the case. We showed up to the cellar door during opening hours as required for check in however no one was there- we called multiple times before they answered and told us to just pull up by the vineyards. Essentially camped next to their driveway. Very high price for no amenities and no hospitality whatsoever. Don’t advertise that you include a tasting when you don’t 🤡

Spectacular views from our camp over the vineyards and out to the mountains. Only 50m walk back from wine tasting to our camp too, to enjoy a delicious bottle of the Lazy Oak sparkling Chardonnay!

What a fantastic place. The campsite was so lovely being able to camp within the vineyard . We also met some lovely fellow campers . There is so much camping space lots of privacy .
We had a lovely time at the cellar door were we were greated by Paula and offered once we were settled to come up for a wine tasting . Of course we did and had some wine, cheese platter and the. Followed by pizza.
I highly recommend this camping spot

This is a beautiful spot but the grass was very long & needed mowing. Expensive for what you got.
Not sure what the $5 for the Friday night was for.
I was unwell & couldn’t go to sunset drinks & pizza 🍕 but it didn’t include anything to my knowledge. My husband still went & met some fellow campers who were all lovely people.

Really enjoyed our stay, was great to visit a few wineries and then come back to Lazy Oak and have a few more wines and be able to wander across the field to the van. Very convenient. Music, food and drinks on Friday night was great.

This is a great spot quite literally at the end of the vineyard, a lovely spot to wake up. Sites are a bit slopping at the moment but I believe there might be some plans to level some sights. Would have been good if the sites also had a mow and is probably a little pricey for what you get. Other than that Lazy Oak has some great wines and is just a short stroll up the hill and Drinks at Dusk on Friday night is cool, pizzas are delicious. 10 minutes from Mudgee and only a stones throw from many other wineries. We had a great time and would recommend.

The Camping Area was Ok as not very level so be prepared for that. Views access the vineyards were well worth it, But the highlight was the dusk drinks and wood fired pizza.
Highly recommend if you enjoy a good Mudgee wine

The winery is great and open later compared to other wineries. Lovely staff. Downside is the camping area isn’t level and we didn’t have levellers. That paired with no facilities did make us feel like the pricing was a little steep. However the stars from out there were breath taking!
