Our experience at Scouts Run was fantastic from start to finish. Communication was clear and timely, the site was beautiful and well-maintained, and it provided the perfect setting for a relaxing weekend away.

Loved the creekside camping. Kids had a blast playing in the creek, lovely day trips to Bega and Tathra beach. Lovely open spaces and flat areas to park our camper, pitt toilets are kept clean and well stocked.

Scouts Run is in a very scenic area and a great place to camp at. It's easy to get to and you have full mobile phone connectivity. The drop toilet was clean and there was a tap for water (not drinkable) which made our stay very easy.
If we're in the area again we'll definitely camp here again.

While the weather wasn't the best, our weekend at Scouts run was lovely! The sites are closer together than expected, but as we were the only ones booked it was private enough. The creek looks amazing and we would love to come back in summer ☀️

As a couple who had never tried glamping before, this was a great first experience! The caravan was full of amenities, super comfortable and easy access to the beautiful refreshing creek right in their backyard! Hipcamp was easy to find and enter as the instructions given by the host was very clear. Overall, a super happy experience here at Scouts Run.

What a lovely clean and tidy campsite! Beautiful views and sunsets/sunrises. 16-19 foot vans will fit in designated areas easily. Nice clear creek and easy access. The baths in the old truck were cool! Nice place to base camp or chillax. Fires are permitted in designated fire pits. Nice and peaceful. We would highly recommend Scouts Run.
Note : Just want to mention to anyone towing coming from Sydney way you will have a 10klm steep decent going through Browns Mountain approx 15 mins prior to the site location. This can be tricky and you need to gear right down and not melt your brakes.

Really lovely property with an excellent river running through it. Had a great time host was available and helpful when we arrived went to effort to keep all the campers secluded from each other where she could. We would love to come back one day

We had campsite 2. Was a little difficult to level a long van and took some manoeuvring with car. Was peaceful and quiet. Great views with nice water stream.

Loved the access to the creek - take a dip, it’s really nice. Shona came out and welcomed us, which was very nice. Easy access to camp sites. Sites were all flat and easy to peg into. Close to Merimbula if you want beaches and oysters. Drop toilet was good as well, nice and clean. We enjoyed our time here!

My friends and I had a great stay here. The camp ground is super spacious, out in nature vibes, great view and last but not lease the access to private creek is the best part of this property🤩 We stayed at Camp 2 and will be sharing some pictures for reference. Highly recommend staying here with your mates and exploring nearby town old town Bega

Lovely location along the creek. Bird life was beautiful. Shona provided great communication about our booking. We tent camped on site 2, it was good for a tent. Would recommend as a place to stay.

Our 2 combined families had an amazing stay at Scouts Run, Shona was very welcoming and amazing to communicate with! We had a good spot down in the Horse Arena (over spill camping area) and would definately return there again one day, hopefully!

A beautiful site. We stayed in Creekside 1. There was plenty of room for our camper trailer with great views. It was a short stroll to the creek. The creek was clear with a sandy bottom, perfect for swimming.

What a beautiful spot!
We stayed in our van at Creekside 3, and it was absolutely perfect.
We had stunning views of the neighboring rolling hills and the spectacular creek, which was simply breathtaking.
Shona, our host, was so lovely, and what she has done on the property is truly amazing.
We will definitely be back.

Beautiful property, and Shona is a friendly host, going well out of her way to get us a more private site when we arrived. The site is lush green and well shaded, with access to a stunning creek, both crystal clear and refreshing to swim in. Both my partner and I and dog loved cooling down in there. The property is close, within 5 minute drive to Candelo. A small town with a local cafe and small grocery store, well worth a stop for a coffee. We also took advantage of the proximity of Merimbula and stunning bar beach, only 30 minutes away. Truly one of the best Hipcamps I have stayed at, and I have been all over Australia. Will definitely stay again.

Shona was friendly and accomodating, the 2 creekside campsites are levelled out areas, elevated from the creek bed. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay there again.
