Dougy's Den is a magical little spot to camp. Beautiful surroundings with tall trees, ferns and babbling brook. Flushing toilet and cold shower, table and chairs under a gazebo. Dougy's Den is a well thought out site and Graeme is a top bloke. Will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay. Private, quiet and serene. Water and a flushing loo, plus things like brooms and a large table makes this incredibly convenient. Having a large undercover area makes this a perfect stay in any weather. Greame was a fantastic, friendly host.

Wow, what an amazing weekend in a beautiful location.
The creek was running, full of creatures and cold.
The setup was just great. Shelter (that we needed as it rained), fire pit, toilet were all great.
Graeme was an amazing host and we will definitely be back.

This is a beautiful private spot, and a lovely host. Flushing toilet, hose, outside shower, patio roof, Graeme kindly supplied fire wood as well. I would highly recommend this location and look forward to visiting in the summer.

I almost don't want to leave a review for Dougy's Den as it is so beautiful I don't want to share it. Such a lovely camp with everything designed to make your stay pleasant and easy (even a morning paper delivered 😀) flushing toilet, firewood and a warm welcome. It was very cold when we stayed but looking forward to returning in summer to sit in the creek and soak in the beautiful birdsong with a glass of wine. Thanks for the awesome story about the fairies, added to the magic. No phone reception was a bonus to really disconnect.

The site was lovely with a little creek next to it (the sound was just perfection) and an undercover area which was big enough to set up our small tent under. Lots of greenery, Birdlife, and we saw a roo only a few metres away!
Definitely not for those who are worried about unpaved roads - it is doable in a 2-wheel drive but you need to be confident driving on gravel.
Graeme is lovely, welcoming and very chatty. You can tell he's very proud of his site and its history and is always down for a yarn.

Highly recommended. Have just finished my third stay. Enjoy the scenery, quiet and location. Great hosts and amenities, such as the fire pit table and container which you can use as a kitchen. Close enough to Perth for a quick getaway. Will be back again.

The camping area was amazing, the running water from the dam was peaceful, the birds were beatiful. The area was well set up for camping. We had kids first time camping and they had the most amazing time.
The trail walks were amazing, got to see alot of wildlife.

Loved tent camping at doughy's den. We had such a nice and relaxing weekend. The camp was beautiful, lush, and peaceful. Really enjoyed the sound of the running water from the creek, it was so calming and I had such a good sleep. We had kookaburras visit us everyday which was also nice. Also Graeme the host is such a wonderful guy. He was really nice to talk to, very friendly and he was so helpful when our car wouldn't start in the morning. He is an amazing host. Overall would really recommend this spot, one of the best camp spots we've ever been to.
