We are a hobby farm set on 100-acres on the North Dandalup scarp, with a few sheep. You will find kangaroos, echidnas, sometimes emus visiting our property. You can enjoy the great views into the horizon towards the Indian Ocean amidst the tall jarrah and gum trees. Campsites are set in the woodlands, some with views. It’s perfect for people seeking 'quiet' time away, but still near to amenities in the towns around here. You can take walks to experience forest therapy, have a campfire or canoe in the dams during wintertime. There is no power, water or toilet facilities so campers must be completely self-contained. You are expected to clear up and take all rubbish with you. Leave no trace. The terrain is rather hilly, hence a few sites are accessible only by 4WD (Sembawang and Changi). There are some sites that are still accessible with regular cars (Opera 1, 2 or 3; Tampines, Bedok). RVs and small caravans are welcomed. All vehicles have to stay on the paths, and not to make any tracks. The gravel road leading to our property is shared with neighbours who run horses. As such, please drive really slowly here so as not to cause the horses to bolt. During the summer fire season, fires are strictly prohibited! Dogs welcome (on leash).

5 beautiful acres in the Swan Valley with horses, we run a horse rehoming charity from here where all proceeds from hipcamp go to support our facility. Along with plenty of horses, you'll also see kangaroos at certain times and our pet sheep Jamima who thinks she's a horse! A superb property with a winter creek and an open paddock where the horses live. It's very peaceful. There are only two camping sites available on this wonderful property at any time so privacy is assured. There is also a dam on the property so please mind any children with absent swimming abilities. Campfires are allowed during the season, and there is a toilet and shower available in the shed 100 meters from the camping area. Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. Please note, however, we offer a group camping option for larger groups but those booking this option must be fully self-contained as our facilities are not enough to support a large group. We have a strict Leave No Trace policy here, we kindly ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave. We also ask that you please do not feed the horses. The property is well located to access many great wineries and cafes in the famous Swan Valley area, some within walking distance. Security here is taken care of by Mr security guard "aka" Smoky our pet dog. He's very safe and timid. If you get a pat from this boy I know you're good, so beware! We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. We may also be able to accommodate your horse - please discuss this with us prior to booking. We are closed from 1 Dec through to 31 March due to High Fire Risk. Our 43-hectare property is on the edge of the Darling Scarp behind the historical Fairbridge Village. Only 1 hour south of Perth, so it is close enough for a quick weekend getaway but far enough to enjoy the silence of the bush. There are elevated campsites with views west towards Mandurah and the Peel Estuary, northwest views toward Perth City, and three dams on the property. Guests must be fully self-contained, as no toilets or showers are available. Just amazing views :) Some locations are suitable for tents only, and some for caravans only. 4WD/AWDs are recommended as most sites are not easily accessible with a 2WD vehicle, especially during winter. Dog friendly. Campfires are permitted in designated areas with the host's approval (depending on fire restrictions). We are closed over the summer period due to increased fire risk.

Avonbrook is ideal with its yearlong Creek and rocky outcrops for our Dexter cattle and Nigerian Dwarf x goats. We hope to enjoy for many years to come. It is recommended that only 4 Wheel drives for access and a high clearance caravan/trailer. We have 5 campsites at the moment, site A is the smaller of them, on the left beside the creek, and Site 1 next then site 2, sites 3 and 4 are paddock side on the right. There are unfortunately a few ants nests around so please be aware and pitch up anywhere around the site thats best, even on the paddock side if suits... thanks, Sarah PS the cows can be naughty and like to chew cords so keep the gate shut to resist temptation! Hope you enjoy your stay on our land. Proceeds go back into feeding livestock and the maintenance of our farm. Summer Creek was established in 1884 by Edward Vivian Harvey Keane. Keane was a prominent figure in the development of Western Australia, having constructed over 800km of rail around W.A. The property runs alongside the discontinued railway line, known as the Kep Track / Golden pipeline trail, which is part of the same railway network as the Bibbulmun track. The old winery building was saved by R and A Poulton, after a demolition order was places on it by the Northam shire in 2002. The property is now heritage listed, and the fight to preserve it from main-roads continues. Our camping set-up is a work in progress, so we would appreciate your suggestions and feedback, we now have a cold shower on site. When things dry out we will be able to do more work on the accessibility. Children are welcome, but make sure you are prepared to look after them. This is not a place to let then go feral. This is a working farm and has all the dangers that go with that. Please appreciate our home, as we are opening it up for you to enjoy as much as we do. From plants, rocks and old equipment, you may not be aware of its significance, so please be respectful and dont damage our home. We are a hobby farm set on 100-acres on the North Dandalup scarp, with a few sheep. You will find kangaroos, echidnas, sometimes emus visiting our property. You can enjoy the great views into the horizon towards the Indian Ocean amidst the tall jarrah and gum trees. Campsites are set in the woodlands, some with views. It’s perfect for people seeking 'quiet' time away, but still near to amenities in the towns around here. You can take walks to experience forest therapy, have a campfire or canoe in the dams during wintertime. There is no power, water or toilet facilities so campers must be completely self-contained. You are expected to clear up and take all rubbish with you. Leave no trace. The terrain is rather hilly, hence a few sites are accessible only by 4WD (Sembawang and Changi). There are some sites that are still accessible with regular cars (Opera 1, 2 or 3; Tampines, Bedok). RVs and small caravans are welcomed. All vehicles have to stay on the paths, and not to make any tracks. The gravel road leading to our property is shared with neighbours who run horses. It is recommended that only 4 Wheel drives for access and a high clearance caravan/trailer. We have 5 campsites at the moment, site A is the smaller of them, on the left beside the creek, and Site 1 next then site 2, sites 3 and 4 are paddock side on the right. There are unfortunately a few ants nests around so please be aware and pitch up anywhere around the site thats best, even on the paddock side if suits... thanks, Sarah PS the cows can be naughty and like to chew cords so keep the gate shut to resist temptation! The old winery building was saved by R and A Poulton, after a demolition order was places on it by the Northam shire in 2002. The property is now heritage listed, and the fight to preserve it from main-roads continues. Our camping set-up is a work in progress, so we would appreciate your suggestions and feedback, we now have a cold shower on site. When things dry out we will be able to do more work on the accessibility. Children are welcome, but make sure you are prepared to look after them. This is not a place to let then go feral. This is a working farm and has all the dangers that go with that. Please appreciate our home, as we are opening it up for you to enjoy as much as we do. From plants, rocks and old equipment, you may not be aware of its significance, so please be respectful and dont damage our home. We offer neat nature based campsites in the gully and all campsites are on the banks of the babbling Dirk Brook with a good distance between campsites for privacy. A great property to reconnect with country Please note, to get to the campsites there is a farm track and for most, a creek crossing. We recommend 4WD or SUV to access ALL campsites. Perfect place for caravans, camper trailers, rooftop tents, tents, swags, vans to various campsites. There are horses and Scottish Highland cattle that usually greet you near the main entrance, and sheep and cattle graze the hill country and surrounds. Plenty more for nature lovers here, including red-tailed cockatoos that flock to the gully to feed on the Marri trees, plus many other birds. The resident Wedge-tail eagles soar above making the most of the thermals created from the hills and the local kangaroos Dogs are welcome but must remain on leads at ALL times as this is a working farm. You MUST bring your own camping toilet and be COMPLETELY 100% self sufficient with everything including drinking water We have a Leave No Trace policy, so ask that you please take all waste with you. Strictly No Pre Booking tours of campsites allowed, a good description and photos of each campsite is available online. ALL campers are to be booked in prior to arriving at the farm. We really enjoyed our stay at Dale’s due to: welcoming host; being immersed with well cared for and respected domestic animals (horses, sheep, dogs): reflected in their calm nature; limited number of campers; natural shading by established trees; basic but adequate bathroom facilities; central location -access to Swan Valley attractions, shopping, highways, public transport, Whiteman Park (great for families as has free waterpark, playgrounds, basketball courts, tram rides (free for 2025), train rides, museums, cafe, large shaded lawns, natural bushland with native animals, cycling and walking paths and trails). Whilst there is some airtraffic noise at peak morning and evening times, this didn’t impact negatively on our stay; night air cooled; stars shone brightly; minimal ambient noise all made for 3 very restful nights stay. We would not hesitate to stay again.

Set among trees including a variety of fruit trees, this is a calm and spacious retreat where you can unwind to the sounds of birds, rustling leaves, and nature all around you including emus and kangaroos. We welcome self-contained caravans and vans only—there are no toilets or showers, so you must bring your own facilities. There are 4 spots in our hipcamp area. Other areas available on our property pending weather and availability. Our property can also easily accommodate exclusive large group bookings, making it perfect for meetups, family gatherings, or a quiet weekend (or mid week) with friends. (Please enquire within) For those who just want the peace and tranquility, we can offer this too! Interested in adult only getaways? Or have a specific group requirement? Enquire within! Friendly farm vibes: You may be lucky enough to meet our sheep, cows, donkeys and chickens who occasionally wander up to the fence to say hello. We also offer a paddock space if you'd like to bring your horse (additional fees, simply enquire ahead of time.) Key features: Sites a short walk to the river (subject to availability.
