5 beautiful acres in the Swan Valley with horses, we run a horse rehoming charity from here where all proceeds from hipcamp go to support our facility. Along with plenty of horses, you'll also see kangaroos at certain times and our pet sheep Jamima who thinks she's a horse! A superb property with a winter creek and an open paddock where the horses live. It's very peaceful. There are only two camping sites available on this wonderful property at any time so privacy is assured. There is also a dam on the property so please mind any children with absent swimming abilities. Campfires are allowed during the season, and there is a toilet and shower available in the shed 100 meters from the camping area. Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. Please note, however, we offer a group camping option for larger groups but those booking this option must be fully self-contained as our facilities are not enough to support a large group. We have a strict Leave No Trace policy here, we kindly ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave. We also ask that you please do not feed the horses. The property is well located to access many great wineries and cafes in the famous Swan Valley area, some within walking distance. Security here is taken care of by Mr security guard "aka" Smoky our pet dog. He's very safe and timid. If you get a pat from this boy I know you're good, so beware! We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. We may also be able to accommodate your horse - please discuss this with us prior to booking. Only 1.5 hours out of Perth, its the perfect spot for a weekend getaway or an overnight stop prior to continuing your journey onwards. The camping is situated in the front paddock of the property which is easily accessible by all vehicles, caravans and trailers. Please keep in mind the following, There are animals on site. We had a flying visit to this great spot so only for one evening. The site was fantastic, with fire pit, stools, table and chairs. However could not do a review without commenting on Donna and Micheal’s hospitality. These guys simply could not do enough for us. If you get a chance to stop here you should. Will be back for sure.

We had a really relaxing stay. It was a delight to see so many kangaroos close up in the paddock and have so much space to ourselves. The entrance gate might be a challenge for rigs bigger than our 21ft, but once you’re in the paddock it is a delight.

Lots of space for my daughter to ride around the paddock, took a lovely bike ride to town, and on a recommendation from Donna found the raw larder which was a little gem. Have camped here several times and have always loved it. There's free roam birds plus fenced in animals, the turkeys are a really fun addition. The sites are always clean and facilities well maintained. Some of the sites are super small and close together, which is a bummer but overall a really great place to stay.

What a lovely place to stay with such hospitable hosts. It's so serene and quiet yet close to town to grab things then you need. Donna gave us some great local recommendations and Millie the Kelpie was friendly and loved a belly rub. We would stay again if in the area. The site was pretty flat. Enough sun for solar recovery and they even laid a fire and wood out for us. Thank you guys. We fit our 21.6ft van in no problems.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay at Tracey’s campsite. We chose Site 2, but our tent ended up being a bit too large for the flat area. After walking around the property, I’d recommend booking the City Lights or Sunset Scene sites—they looked better suited for larger setups and had great views. We had a lovely time spotting black cockatoos and listening to kookaburras, which added to the peaceful bush vibe. Unfortunately, it was too cloudy for stargazing during our stay. There was some noise from hooning and passing trains throughout the night, but that might have just been bad timing. Overall, it was a beautiful spot and a unique experience. We’d definitely consider coming back and trying a different site next time. Thank you very much for the hospitality Tracey!

We had a great time with our Caravans and tent for a family weekend away. We booked a horse and cart ride to the Bailey Brewing and it was great fun. Had lots of puppy cuddles and brief visits from the horses, not the grumpy sheep though he wasn’t fond of us. Will definitely come back again

Great location just 5 minutes out of Toodyay. Very quiet and private. This property would be much better if there were flat level areas to setup. When we visited the weeds were quite tall. Some mowed grass would be nice.
