We only accept one booking at a time, so you're guaranteed privacy and plenty of space, as you have the entire property to yourselves. 20% discount for weeknights, that is Sunday night through to Thursday night. Come alone or bring your group to camp on our 95 acres of peace and quiet, on our off-grid property in Forest Hill. Note: There is no actual beach at Eddies Beach. Campers must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet, and leave no trace. Groups of up to 6 families (people who know each other) can be accommodated at any one time. As you are the only ones camping, you're welcome to make a bit of noise (music, generators etc). The rate is $38 for up to two adults, per night, $19 per extra adult per night, and any accompanying children (under 18) are free. Note: Please still add children to the booking, you will not be charged, but it's important we know numbers. Whilst the Hipcamp website considers children as anyone under 13 years of age, we consider them as anyone under 18, and are happy for you to create the booking accordingly. Campfires are permitted in the designated area only, provided conditions are suitable and there are no local fire bans (can change daily). We will advise campers on arrival and any changes throughout your stay. Firewood can be provided. Whilst any time is good for camping, we recommend trying to time your trip with the New Moon and Full Moon - the skies here are brilliant at night! Telstra and Optus work in most areas. We have free WIFI at the designated campsite area. We are located 19km from Mt Barker, surrounded by local wineries, including West Cape Howe, Poachers Ridge, Arcadia and Gilberts. The property makes a great base camp for day trips to Denmark, Albany, Mt Barker, Stirling Ranges and the Porongurup Ranges. IMPORTANT: NO FIREARMS. NO SWIMMING IN DAMS. Be mindful, this is a working property. No entry to sheds without prior approval from management. The dams and streams are unfenced, care should be exercised around these areas especially with small children. For those campers who need extra sleeping arrangements for friends or family who wish to join your camp and don't have the ability to camp, we may be able to offer a solution. We had such a wonderful stay at Eddies Beach. Roger and Val were incredibly welcoming and friendly hosts, which made us feel right at home. We were lucky enough to have the place all to ourselves – such a treat! The fire pit was amazing, perfect for relaxing, and the surroundings were just beautiful and so peaceful. A truly special spot – we’ll definitely be back!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Eddie’s Beach! The campsite had amazing views with a warming fire upon our arrival. Kids enjoyed roaming the fields and looking at the animals. Camp hosts were very friendly and provided us with all safety and local area info.

Val and Roger thankyou for hosting us this weekend! Ripper 2 night stay in a lovely camp. Very well thought out camp from.the fire pit to the weather displayed on the board! So nice to have this peaceful camp all to yourselves and then to enjoy a coffee and a chat with you guys to top it all off. Eddie's Beach is bliss!

We loved Eddies Beach, the peace and tranquility was exactly what we needed. Having the place to ourselves was incredible. We arrived to find the fire pit already lit and welcoming us. Roger and Val are wonderful hosts allowing you to dictate the level of interaction you want. We enjoyed a coffee and a chat with them. Our dogs enjoyed running through the paddocks and having a good sniffari. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys simply getting away off grid end relaxing.

Great well kept campsite. Roger and Val met us and showed us to the campsite which is very private and best part was the fire was going when we arrived as it was pretty wet and cold. Great service ! Our 2 dogs loved being able to roam around and get muddy. Will definitely come again

Where to go

Rainbow Coast

Rocky coves and rugged headlands give way to white-sand beaches and idyllic inlets along the Rainbow Coast. Nearby Albany is the gateway to the natural wonders of Torndirrup National Park, while West Cape Howe National Park has spectacular coastal hikes, paragliding, and beachside camping. Further west, enjoy swimming, snorkelling, and camping at William Bay National Park, where the star attractions include the Green Pool, Elephant Rocks, and Parry Beach. 

Walpole Wilderness

Ancient karri forests, soaring granite peaks, and sprawling wetlands make up the vast Walpole Wilderness area, which stretches north and west of Denmark. Set out to explore the walking trails of Mt Lindesay National Park, go fishing and kayaking at Walpole-Nornalup National Park, or camp right by the beach at D’Entrecasteaux National Park. Hiking highlights include the Valley of the Giants Treetop Walk and the long-distance Bibbulmun Track.

 

Stirling Ranges

Denmark sits at the foot of Western Australia’s mountainous southern region, affording plenty of options for mountain hikes and backcountry camping. Marvel at the giant boulders of Porongurup National Park on a scenic drive or bushwalk, or head further afield to hike and camp at Stirling Range National Park. The park’s seasonal campground has unpowered sites suitable for campervans and camper trailers, but there are also glamping cabins and caravan sites nearby.

The most popular time to visit Denmark is during the summer months, when the warm and dry weather is ideal for leisurely beach days and outdoor activities. The distinctive seasons and changeable weather along the Rainbow Coast make for some impressive views all year-round, especially during winter, when the low-lying sun and frequent rainfall combine to give the coast its name—rainbows can often be spotted throughout the day.
