Weekend Trip to Something Different

My group of 16, 30 year olds had an unreal get together over 2 nights here! The scenery and space you are given at the stay would be very hard to beat! The shed is huge so easily accommodated all of us with a fee extra swags around the place. Vivien supply's wood too for the outside and inside fires which was needed as winter in donneybrook is quite cold during the evenings. We will 100% be back!

What a view! We drove to the farm from Perth and saw all the lovely farms on the drive up. When we got to Qualin Farm bush camp. We were impressed with how quiet and peaceful the camp sites were. We got the camp site with the tent set up on our arrival. We added bedding to our experience and we were impressed with how neat and beautiful the tent was. Camping out under the stars was amazing Fire wood sticks and branches were easy to find. There was a toilet nearby and water for us to boil. we brought our newborn baby with us and it was his first camping experience. The next morning we got a tour around the farm with the owner. 10/10 camping and the wife was super happy. Would recommend to my family and friends!!!!

Highly recommended Vivian's property. We had an amazing stay for 3 nights. We were self sufficient in our caravans but the shed has everything you need , huge kitchen, lounge areas and three separate bedrooms. Wood burners in the shed to keep warm on cold nights and a huge fireplace outside with wood supplied. Take a walk to the dam to see the ducks and sheep or just relax and enjoy the serenity. A must stay if in the area.

Nice perimeter walk for the dogs (on lead). Multitude of kangaroos, emus in border paddock. Friendly inquisitive chickens. A variety of native bird species viewed from verandah. Great canoe launching spot at Jalbaragup Bridge.

Weekend Trip to Shanti Retreat

If you want to connect with nature while being comfortable and warm during cold nights, this place is the place to be. It's a very cosy little house with everything we needed. We enjoyed the fireplace and sitting on the verandah watching wildlife. From the property, we saw Emus, many birds like scarlet robins, red-tails, blue-wrens etc, and a couple of possums on our night walk. The house is a short drive from two towns- Bridgetown and Balingup. We explored both towns and loved both.

We had a lovely time at Qualin Farm. Alix was prompt with her responses and greeted us as we arrived. I would recommend a stay here. We booked the bell tent and it was a lovely addition to our camping set-up.

3 nights at Cliffy the Caravan

My partner and I had the best little getaway at Cliffy ! We got back yesterday and I can tell you it was hard leaving :( A gorgeous spot, perfect for a break from society and time to connect with nature. Would recommend packing light and not arriving after sunset like we did if you want to find the caravan easily ! Such a pretty little spot - a 10 min walk to the gorgeous cliffs and the cape to cape trail is on your doorstep. Make sure you have a little sunset picnic on the cliffs- it was bliss ! Such a cosy little home, we would love to come back 🩷

3 nights at Fair Harvest Retreat Margaret River

We were in the tiny house: comfortable, cosy and had everything we needed. The communal showers were clean and hot! The camping kitchen was clean and spacious: I really appreciated the fridge space and toaster. Overall a lovely stay in a great spot centrally located in the Margaret River region

Weekend Trip to Lakeside at Running Gully

This was an absolutely stunning stay! The dome itself was comfortable, very clean, luxurious in terms of aircon and all amenities (fully set up kitchen!?), and had great shower. The location was incredible - I cannot overstate how picturesque this place was! We saw Roos everyday, flocks of black cockatoos, could walk around the property, sit on the jetty near the lake, and still nip into Pemberton/ Manjimup for lunch! Hosts were super lovely and helpful and this has shot to one of our favourite getaways!

The resident Wedge-tail eagles soar above making the most of the thermals created from the hills and the local kangaroos Dogs are welcome but must remain on leads at ALL times as this is a working farm. Qualin Farm bush camp

Camp up in our bushland, with beautiful views of farmland. Enjoy sitting by the campfire, going on a bushwalk or riding your bicycle around the paddocks on dirt tracks. In the spring, there will be beautiful wildflowers to see, in the winter you will be able to walk through our creeks. TO BRING Please be self-contained with water and rubbish, however we do have Sheoak and Jam tree logs that you can collect for firewood and a compost toilet. Also please bring insect repellent, the spring can coincide with lots of mosquitos and flies. If you would like to bring your own firewood, you can buy some at the Bindoon roadhouse on the way. If you need access to drinking water and waste removal, there are facilities available at nearby caravan parks, such as Goomalling or Wongan Hills. We also provide non-potable water near the compost toilet for you to use for showers. ARRIVAL We are located in between Goomalling and Calingiri. Qualin farm sign in angled towards the Goomalling side, so could be difficult to see if driving from Calingiri. Drive slowly on approach of the driveway entry, as it on a corner. At the end of the driveway we have an information board to assist you in finding your spot as well as signs. If you need any help and would like to be welcomed to your spot, please let us know. PHONE RECEPTION During your drive, there can be limited phone reception, however, all campsites have some reception from most phone providers. If you do not have reception at the end of the driveway and need assistance, simply drive up the gravel road to the top of the hill (a right turn from the shed). THINGS TO DO IN THE AREA Bindoon bakehouse or Toodyay bakery are great places to stop for a snack or lunch on your drive from Perth. Both locations are approximately 1 hour from our farm. Bindoon also has established free mountain biking trails. New Norcia is an interesting historical town with museums, galleries and tours. It is a 40 minute drive from our farm. Goomalling has a lovely coffee shop called Lot 39 store and cafe. It is open weekdays and the bakery is open weekends. Nannup Lavender Tranquil Campground

Situated in the centre of the south west between Margaret River and Pemberton, our farm is a great base to experience the best of this wonderful area. Surrounded by forests and farmland, central to the Munda Biddi Bike trail - you can drink in nature! We have flat grassy areas under trees for camping, inside and outside showers, toilets, camp kitchen with BBQ, small fridge, electric frypan and small camp stove, washing machine and device charging facilities. Sorry dogs are not permitted We can take tents, camper trailers, RV's and small caravans up to about 8 m is OK. We do not have power to the campsite. The camp ground is on a working lavender farm and farming activities may be happening. We are small and exclusive so if you can't arrive before DARK please do not book. We don't want to be greeting people all hours as we are very busy so check in is 2 to 6pm. The lavender farm shop and cafe is open Friday to Sundays in term and Thursday to Monday during school holidays (closed February and Match) but campers can purchase lavender products on request. Camp fires in season (Usually May to September) and weather permitting. We supply fallen logs so no need to bring your own but fires only at night and not in the morning. Breakfast Basket or BBQ packs available, these are cook your own we supply all the ingredients and tools or dine in our cafe during your stay. Please note We are small and the sites are close together Our campground is not suitable for all children and we do not have entertainment for children, we reccommend other campsites that are better suited for children. Wave Rock Short Stay

The Camp - Wave Rock Short Stay is located 2 km from the Hyden town site and 2 km from Wave Rock. Both locations are easily accessible by car or by using the walking/cycling trail. To access the walking trail please head back to Aylmore Road, turn right and when you reach the intersection cross the highway to meet the walking/cycling trail. Left will take you to town and right to Wave Rock. Please be mindful that our property neighbours a working sheep and cropping farm. Wave Rock is a granite cliff 15 metres high and 110 metres long. It’s rounded-like shape has been caused by weathering and water erosion which has undercut the base and left a rounded overhang. Water from the springs running down the rock during wetter months dissolves minerals adding to the colouring of the wave. In 1960, crystals from Hyden Rock were dated at being 2700 million years old, which are amongst the oldest in Australia. A 15 minute drive north of Wave Rock you will see a “giant” lurching out of the bushland. This massive granite rock formation is known as the Humps – grab your hat, sun screen and water bottle and explore! Be sure to visit Mulka's Cave. The name “Mulka” comes from an Aboriginal Legend associated with the cave. As you enter the cave (take a few moments for your eyes to adjust) and look at the walls and note the many hand stencils believed to representing adults and children. Close to Lake Magic, a large local salt lake, Denis Collins constructed a 20m round, 6m deep swimming pool-like gypsum pond whose buoyancy and therapeutic properties are greater than those of the Dead Sea.

Deepdene Farmstay is a beautiful rural property with a fabulous view! We have a number of unpowered camp sites located approximately 5 minutes drive from Augusta, which offers a number of tourist attractions and great fishing spots. We are also located a short 800m from Jewel Cave, which is a very popular tourist attraction and café. Our campsites overlook paddocks of cows and horses, with a lovely breeze and a number of large trees to offer shade in the summer, while being protected from the harsh winds in winter. If you are pretty much self contained and would like to camp out away from the hustle and bustle, in a tranquil and peaceful setting...then this is for you. However, if you like life's luxuries, then this won't be your cup of tea. One of the reviews said nice but a bit wild, I think they must be used to caravan parks or something. We try our best to fit in with the environment, so we have a couple of compost toilets and solar showers (for private not public use, for more info on this, please enquire ) and compost and recycling bins to try and do our bit. Dogs are permitted but this is a working farm with livestock so uncontrolled dogs chasing wildlife or stock which cant be controlled will be dealt with as needed including euthanised. If its hard to control don't bring it please!
