Just 1 hour from Perth, Harmony Retreat is a conscious camping space situated on 25 acres at the foothills of the Darling Range Escarpment just 10-15 minutes from Pinjarra and Dwellingup, 7 minutes from the southwest highway, and 3 minutes from Pinjarra-Williams Road. It's an easily accessible and picturesque private property with approximately 7 acres of forest, flushing toilet, hot outdoor shower, a winter creek, a swimmable spring-fed dam, and an abundance of bird and wildlife, nestled between cattle farms in the heart of the Peel region. There are friendly free-ranging chickens and Guinea fowl, a mischievous mini pig, friendly goats, sheep, and a family dog on site. The owners Michelle, Troy, and Carolyne live and work onsite (this is a working farm). THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO BOOK IF YOU INTEND TO PARTY. The camping area is easily accessed by most vehicles. There is a hot water outdoor shower and toilet available to use and within walking distance of each site. CHILDREN - The dam on the property is currently unfenced and has steep sides when the water line is low, therefore this property is not recommended for those with small and wandering children. We also asked that older children are supervised, so as not to vandalise property, nature, gardens and fire-pits (this has been a problem in the past). Friendly dogs are welcome, however, must be kept on a leash at all times, due to free-ranging chickens, livestock and wildlife on the property. There are no cooking facilities available. Therefore, you will need to be completely self-sufficient including cooker, kettle, esky, etc, and also bringing your own drinking water as the water from the taps comes from our spring-fed dam. We do ask that you follow local fire regulations with no outdoor open flames during fire bans. All rubbish and waste needs to be taken with you. However, Peppa the Pig will always appreciate your veggie scraps. Fires are permitted in designated fire pits during fire season. Anyone found having a fire during FIRE BANS will be reported to authorities and asked to leave the property immediately (we need to use firm words around this, as bushfire destroys homes and endangers lives). Something Different is a large machinery shed that has been converted into a comfortable holiday house with three bedrooms and one bathroom (extra toilet outside) and huge living spaces. You can really kick back here and relax! The walls and ceilings have been extensively insulated. There is a wood heater in the kitchen and another one in the main part of the Shed so it can be kept nice and cosy despite its size! You can drive your car/van inside the shed if you wish or park it under any of the many surrounding trees. The Shed sleeps 10 in total (base price covers all 10), with 1 queen and 1 single bed in one room, 1 dbl bed and 2 single beds in another room, and 1 queen bed and 1 single bed in a third room. All linen, towels, etc. are provided. If you have more people, they are welcome to pitch a tent or park their caravan on the grounds around the shed. For a large group (say 10 plus) we charge an extra $20 (total) to cover the extra power you will need. TO BRING Please be self-contained with water and rubbish, however we do have Sheoak and Jam tree logs that you can collect for firewood and a compost toilet. Also please bring insect repellent, the spring can coincide with lots of mosquitos and flies. If you would like to bring your own firewood, you can buy some at the Bindoon roadhouse on the way. If you need access to drinking water and waste removal, there are facilities available at nearby caravan parks, such as Goomalling or Wongan Hills. We also provide non-potable water near the compost toilet for you to use for showers. ARRIVAL We are located in between Goomalling and Calingiri. Qualin farm sign in angled towards the Goomalling side, so could be difficult to see if driving from Calingiri. Drive slowly on approach of the driveway entry, as it on a corner. At the end of the driveway we have an information board to assist you in finding your spot as well as signs. If you need any help and would like to be welcomed to your spot, please let us know. PHONE RECEPTION During your drive, there can be limited phone reception, however, all campsites have some reception from most phone providers. If you do not have reception at the end of the driveway and need assistance, simply drive up the gravel road to the top of the hill (a right turn from the shed). THINGS TO DO IN THE AREA Bindoon bakehouse or Toodyay bakery are great places to stop for a snack or lunch on your drive from Perth. Both locations are approximately 1 hour from our farm. Bindoon also has established free mountain biking trails. New Norcia is an interesting historical town with museums, galleries and tours. It is a 40 minute drive from our farm. Goomalling has a lovely coffee shop called Lot 39 store and cafe. It is open weekdays and the bakery is open weekends. While staying at Sandalwood Downs we would like all visitors to understand and accept the guidelines and rules, which are in place for everybody’s happiness, comfort and safety. YOUR FAMILIES SAFELY IS VERY IMPORTANT TO US: - No bikes sorry. As we are a farm we do not have bike trails or paths. The paddocks are uneven terrain with incline and decline and are not safe for riding. - No yelling or squealing in the communal / play ground area. This area is for everybody's enjoyment. If your children are yelling and squealing you will all be asked to leave the communal area. - Please supervise your children at ALL times, this is for their safety. Children are not allowed to roam free around the farm without adults. Please ensure your children do not yell, squeal or run whilst around the animals. -Children must be supervised in the communal playground area, The playground is closed for use at 6.pm. - No lighting of campfires. Local Shire and DEFES have very strong rules regarding this, and if lighting of a fire occurs people will be prosecuted by DEFES and the local Shire up to $36000.00 or 3 years imprisonment, -Fabulous communal fire pit open during winter months. No individual site camp fires due to safety of our property, animals and guests. -If you smoke please place your butts in a sealed fire proof container. Please do not leave them on the ground as it is a fire risk and our animals may eat them causing health issues. -No dogs permitted on the property due to our animals roaming free. -You must be totally self contained, own power and water, (3 clean portable toilet and refreshing cold bush shower are available for use in the communal area). -Please take away all rubbish. -No big party groups. -Quiet time from 7.30pm please. Please consider other guests and our neighbours. -Check out of campsite by 11 am please. -If a gate is closed, please close it behind you as will find it very hard to catch an animal that has escaped. - Please do not enter animal enclosures/ paddocks without Jane or Marc. -As we are a farm and you will be in our farm animals home, we ask you to please be kind and friendly towards all of our animals. -You approach all animals at your own risk -Please do not feed the animals any food that has not been given to you by Jane and Marc. -Please drive very slowly through paddocks 10km per hour as animals roam freely. -You will be handed a rules and guidelines policy when you arrive which includes an emergency and evacuation plan. Located on the foothills of the Darling Range in Keysbrook Western Australia, Bolinda Vale Farm is a real working farm breeding Beef cattle and Merino sheep which has been in the same family since 1926. We offer neat nature based campsites in the gully and all campsites are on the banks of the babbling Dirk Brook with a good distance between campsites for privacy. A great property to reconnect with country Please note, to get to the campsites there is a farm track and for most, a creek crossing. We recommend 4WD or SUV to access ALL campsites. Perfect place for caravans, camper trailers, rooftop tents, tents, swags, vans to various campsites. There are horses and Scottish Highland cattle that usually greet you near the main entrance, and sheep and cattle graze the hill country and surrounds. Plenty more for nature lovers here, including red-tailed cockatoos that flock to the gully to feed on the Marri trees, plus many other birds. The resident Wedge-tail eagles soar above making the most of the thermals created from the hills and the local kangaroos Dogs are welcome but must remain on leads at ALL times as this is a working farm. Something Different is a large machinery shed that has been converted into a comfortable holiday house with three bedrooms and one bathroom (extra toilet outside) and huge living spaces. You can really kick back here and relax! The walls and ceilings have been extensively insulated. There is a wood heater in the kitchen and another one in the main part of the Shed so it can be kept nice and cosy despite its size! You can drive your car/van inside the shed if you wish or park it under any of the many surrounding trees. The Shed sleeps 10 in total (base price covers all 10), with 1 queen and 1 single bed in one room, 1 dbl bed and 2 single beds in another room, and 1 queen bed and 1 single bed in a third room. All linen, towels, etc. are provided. If you have more people, they are welcome to pitch a tent or park their caravan on the grounds around the shed. For a large group (say 10 plus) we charge an extra $20 (total) to cover the extra power you will need. Camp up in our bushland, with beautiful views of farmland. Enjoy sitting by the campfire, going on a bushwalk or riding your bicycle around the paddocks on dirt tracks. In the spring, there will be beautiful wildflowers to see, in the winter you will be able to walk through our creeks. TO BRING Please be self-contained with water and rubbish, however we do have Sheoak and Jam tree logs that you can collect for firewood and a compost toilet. Also please bring insect repellent, the spring can coincide with lots of mosquitos and flies. If you would like to bring your own firewood, you can buy some at the Bindoon roadhouse on the way. If you need access to drinking water and waste removal, there are facilities available at nearby caravan parks, such as Goomalling or Wongan Hills. We also provide non-potable water near the compost toilet for you to use for showers. ARRIVAL We are located in between Goomalling and Calingiri. Qualin farm sign in angled towards the Goomalling side, so could be difficult to see if driving from Calingiri. Drive slowly on approach of the driveway entry, as it on a corner. At the end of the driveway we have an information board to assist you in finding your spot as well as signs. If you need any help and would like to be welcomed to your spot, please let us know. PHONE RECEPTION During your drive, there can be limited phone reception, however, all campsites have some reception from most phone providers. If you do not have reception at the end of the driveway and need assistance, simply drive up the gravel road to the top of the hill (a right turn from the shed). THINGS TO DO IN THE AREA Bindoon bakehouse or Toodyay bakery are great places to stop for a snack or lunch on your drive from Perth. Both locations are approximately 1 hour from our farm. Bindoon also has established free mountain biking trails. New Norcia is an interesting historical town with museums, galleries and tours. It is a 40 minute drive from our farm. Goomalling has a lovely coffee shop called Lot 39 store and cafe. It is open weekdays and the bakery is open weekends. The views around the property were stunning and made the experience even more relaxing. Deb was an amazing host—warm, responsive, and genuinely caring. She made sure everything was perfect and her thoughtful touches really stood out. There are no words to describe how beautiful and relaxing this stay has been. I run a business and needed some much needed R&R on my own away from commitments. I felt welcomed & safe and loved up by the lands and the animals along with Michelle, Caroline and Troy, who welcomed me with open arms and were so easy going and caring. Travelling on my own I was so glad to be greeted this way. The sacred land has a sense of peace and tranquillity that opened my heart and eyes to the beauty of it all. I was feeling very fragile & slightly burnt out. This is exactly what I needed and it all exceeded my expectations by far. I will most definitely be back for some more R&R in the near future. 2 nights was not long enough. I didn't want to leave ☺️🙏 I also loved how special the animals are out there and they also gave me healing in their owns special way. Even little dramatic lamb 'Lucy' calling out from the fence when she saw me as if she had never been fed. Hahah And Chloe the cheeky dog who ran to me for kisses at bed time. 😍 Such a beautiful loving Vibe and I thank the 3 of you for the most memorable experience I've had in a long time. Just to sit with myself and nature was what I needed and thank you for supplying the magical back drop and land for me to do just that. We had a fantastic stay in our own private and very spacious tent. Driving in, the fields of wildflowers and blooming canola made for such a beautiful arrival, and the view from the tent was absolutely stunning. Falling asleep by the glow of the campfire with the moon shining through the window was truly unforgettable. We were also lucky enough to enjoy a farm tour where we spotted sheep, wild kangaroos, and even wedge-tailed eagles – such a highlight! The amenities were spotless and conveniently located near the tent, and the directions to the farm were clear and easy to follow. We’d highly recommend a stay here at any time of year

Loved the experience at Nambung Station Stay. Stayed in an on site van with an annex. The kids loved it as did my partner and I. Was decently equipped and the common fire pit was awesome. Met some beautiful people and the guided tour to the Painted Desert Pinnacles was more than worth it. Something not many people get to do in their lives and to see an area that is not walked by many was a blessing. The kids getting to feed the animals especially George was great also. Definitely something we would love to experience again.

This IS an absolute slice of heaven. Everything is lush, green and the streams and little waterfalls are just beautiful. Maisie is an fabulous little van and the decor is adorable. Everything is fresh and bright. The set up is wonderful, and to cook on the BBQ next to a roaring stream while the sheep stroll by is delightful. Also, the composting toilet is amazing (strange thing to review, I know). Deb is a wonderful, helpful host and answered all my texts really quickly.
