Camp beside the peaceful waters of Faithfulls Creek on our private 700-acre regenerative cattle farm in the beautiful Strathbogie Ranges, just outside Euroa.
Glenmaye is a quiet valley property where campsites are well spaced and surrounded by nature. Granite hills rise above the valley and over 500 acres of wilderness bushland stretch out behind the farm, creating a peaceful setting that feels more like a private nature reserve than a campground.
A favourite activity for guests is the short bush walk along the creek to Marraweeny Falls, where water cascades over granite rocks into a beautiful natural pool. Along the creek you’ll also find several swimmable waterholes that are perfect for cooling off on warm days.
Wildlife is abundant around Glenmaye. Kangaroos and wallabies are often seen grazing in the valley at dusk, while kookaburras, parrots and other native birds provide the soundtrack to the day. At night the property enjoys incredibly dark skies, making it a wonderful place to sit by the campfire and watch the stars.
Our campsites are spread out to give guests privacy and space. They are suitable for tents, camper trailers, vans and some caravans depending on the site, with a mix of easy-access areas and more secluded bush camps. Whether you prefer camping beside the creek, under the trees, or out in the open paddock with big skies overhead, each site offers a slightly different experience.
Guests are welcome to explore the property on foot using old farm tracks and bush paths that wind through the hills and granite outcrops. For those who enjoy a short climb, the granite hills above the valley offer beautiful views across the farm and surrounding countryside, especially in the golden light of late afternoon.
Glenmaye is a working farm and a natural bush property. With abundant wildlife and creek environments, guests may occasionally encounter snakes or leeches, particularly near the water, so normal bush precautions such as wearing sturdy footwear are recommended.

Ashlan is a working farm, and we also have an array of wildlife visiting. The property is a birdwatcher's delight, with a variety of species making the property home. If you like star gazing, you have found the right spot. We have no light pollution, so its the perfect place to take advantage of seeing the stars above.
Unfortunately, as we are a working farm, the property is not pet friendly nor do we offer any animal experiences., however you may be lucky enough to see our friendly (and crazy goats). They do like a pat and love apples and mandarins.
The cottage has three bedrooms and sleeps a maximum of six guests. Kitchen, wifi, laundry and BBQ.
All guests will need to supply car registration details. This will give you access to the property. There is CCTV located at the front of the property and going up the driveway.
We live onsite (in a separate house) if you need any assistance.
You will need to bring your own supplies (food and drink) as the closest shop is 20 mins away. However feel free to go out for Friday night Fish and Chips at the Strathbogie Store, or check out the great country pubs at either Euroa or Violet Town. Just watch out for wildlife on the roads. Access to the property is also via approx 2kms of unsealed road.
Ashlan Farm is 20 mins to Violet Town. Perfect if you wish to explore the Violet Town markets.

Amazing property and very well organized. Amenities were a bonus and the best I have seen in such a rural place. Ginnie was lovely, welcoming and had us all setup at the corner camp. Will come back with the kids and stay a little closer to amenities, so many cool spots. Thank you for sharing your part of the world!

We loved camping at Nillawarre Woodland camp site, Ginnie and Gary were very welcoming hosts.
Our site was a very peaceful flat area beside the dam with trees providing shade in the afternoon, the views all around were stunning.The ammenities comprising of showers, flushing toilets and camp kitchen were a short 3-4 minute walk from the site.
The property backs onto the Mt Samaria State park so the location is perfect for exploring this park and lake Nillahcootie is only about 20 minutes away.
With plenty of room to stretch the legs and explore we would definately like to come back in the future.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Nillawarre camp site and it was a great experience! This campsite offers a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.
The location is simply perfect! It's the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The best part is that the campsite is well-maintained, with clean bathrooms and showers through out the day. Ginnie goes above and beyond to make sure the facilities are well maintained ensuring our stay was comfortable. Really appreciate your effort!
Plenty of activities to do as well. Kids loved the animal feeding.
We highly recommend this campsite and It's a perfect spot for families, couples, and solo adventurers alike!

This was the best Hipcamp property I have stated at. Ginnie and Garry were very responsive and met us on arrival. They are dog-friendly. The campsite had beautiful views and wasn't crowed at all - very generous spacing. But what stood out most were the facilities. There were actual flushing toilets (hand wash, paper towels and flannels were provided). There were two showers (with lost of hooks and shelves to put clothes etc. They supplied shampoo/conditioner. There was a kitchen and tea towels and soap/sponges were provided. There we picnic tables and undercover areas. All these areas were very clean. There was also a chest freezer of bags of ice to purchase on site, firewood and a fully stocked fridge/freezer/pantry with grocery items for sale via an honesty box. Not only that, this campsite was at least $20 cheaper per night than all the other campsites I have previously booked - including those with 0 facilities. Highly recommend this campsite.
