It’s the perfect spot to base yourself and explore our beautiful part of the world. Perfect for anyone who is into nature, birdwatching or bushwalking. Great for couples, families or small groups. Ashlan is a working farm, and we also have an array of wildlife visiting. The property is a birdwatcher's delight, with a variety of species making the property home. If you like star gazing, you have found the right spot. We have no light pollution, so its the perfect place to take advantage of seeing the stars above. Unfortunately, as we are a working farm, the property is not pet friendly nor do we offer any animal experiences., however you may be lucky enough to see our friendly (and crazy goats). They do like a pat and love apples and mandarins. The cottage has three bedrooms and sleeps a maximum of six guests. Kitchen, wifi, laundry and BBQ. All guests will need to supply car registration details. This will give you access to the property. There is CCTV located at the front of the property and going up the driveway. We live onsite (in a separate house) if you need any assistance. You will need to bring your own supplies (food and drink) as the closest shop is 20 mins away. However feel free to go out for Friday night Fish and Chips at the Strathbogie Store, or check out the great country pubs at either Euroa or Violet Town. Just watch out for wildlife on the roads. Access to the property is also via approx 2kms of unsealed road. Ashlan Farm is 20 mins to Violet Town. Perfect if you wish to explore the Violet Town markets. 25 mins to Euroa 40 mins to both Benalla and Mansfield 90 minutes to Mt Buller

We had the loveliest stay at Ginny & Garry’s campsite. This was a very spacious & secluded campsite, a little drive away from the others. The property is very well looked after & Ginny was so lovely & accomodating. They have thought about everything you may possibly need from free firewood to a kiosk full of items you may need during your stay from ice, to milk, to jam & eggs and the list goes on. There’s also two showers, a kitchen and toilets. Everything is very accessible! If you’re staying at corner camp, you’ll need to drive down to this area which worked out fine for us. We had the most delightful time camping here & we’ll definitely be back!

This place is an absolute gem! From Ginnie, to the camp site, to the honey they sell, everything is fantastic. The campsite is isolated but only a couple hundred metres from the toilets and showers. The amenities block is perfect with drinks/food to buy at great prices and the water is steaming hot in the showers. Ginnie was so lovely and friendly! We will 100% be back!

The best hosts you could meet. Their place is gorgeous and they are so welcoming. The facilities are great. We got fresh farm eggs, fire wood and even some supplied from their small kiosk on site. Our kids loved feeding the farm animals. Overall an amazing experience, will be coming back and bringing friends with us to experience it :)

We have just had a wonderful time at Nilawarre with Ginnie and Garry the best hosts. Very relaxing with lots of opportunities to explore the farm and surrounding areas. Campsites and shared facilities are very, very, well maintained and provide excellent space to spread out and enjoy yourself. That's all before you get the stunning scenery. Disappointed to have had to leave.

The views, the space, the facilities, all amazing. But the night sky, just unbelievable. Sitting by the fire looking up, could have sat there until dawn. Directions were clear making property easy to find. Ginnie was there to greet us and show us around on arrival and made us feel very welcome. Best place ever!

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Nillawarre Crockett! Everything was so well-organized we were genuinely surprised to find that they had thought of every little thing we might need. The small shop on-site was a delightful bonus, offering essentials like ice, cold drinks, jams, rice, and even ice cream. There was also a refrigerator, microwave, and all the basic supplies stocked up from toilet paper and paper towels to dishcloths and more. It truly felt like a home away from home. Our cousin had recommended this place to us, and now we completely understand why! The farm is incredibly beautiful, peaceful, and welcoming. A special mention to Ginnie, the wonderful host she greeted us warmly and showed us around, making sure we felt comfortable and had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be coming back and will happily recommend Nillawarre Crockett to everyone! 🌿💫

The place was amazing, filled with nature. We had our private section of the farm to ourselves along the creek with a firepit. Both me and my partner enjoyed staying and would highly recommend to other campers. Ginnie was excellent, and very accomodating. She was at the site to welcome us and to show us around, even though we had reached a little late in the evening. Camp facilities are excellent, clean and well organized with old rustic feel. My partner enjoyed feeding the sheep which Ginnie facilitated personally.

We loved camping at Nilawarre farm. The campsite is set apart from the others which gave us some privacy. The kids loved the firepit, feeding the farm animals and catching yabbies at the dam. The only downside was the flies, but that is to be expected at a farm. Our dog loved roaming free around the site. He was exhausted by the end of the trip. The kiosk was great and reasonable, we all loved an ice cream on the trip.
