Food-producing landscaped gardens with four separate self-contained living areas. Guests are welcome to pick their own salad and herbs and picnic in the gardens! Only seven minutes drive to a quiet beach, boating, fishing and the long jetty. The property is conveniently located within close proximity to Welshpool, Agnes falls, National parks, numerous rivers and a State Forests. There are 4 camp sites available for tents, Vans and RV's, with a toilet for those guests in the cottage, the shed and campers. Power and camp kitchen facilities also available. Plenty of room to play cricket or have a get-together. Whole or part of the property including main residence can be rented to groups and functions are also welcome.

The cabins are converted shipping containers. Cabin 1 has a king bed, Cabin 2 has 2 double beds (bunk style) and a yurt (1 - 4 people). Shared facilities. Please do note the yurt does not have direct electricity and supplied are portable flood lights to hang in trees and inside. Charging station in the toilet shed or kitchen. The yurt is approx 150 meters from the cabins and very private. It has one super comfortable king and two single matresses. It's warm and so peaceful you will never want to leave. Excellent stay. Great location some 15k’s inland from lovely Inverloch. Great views. Easy access to the property and ideal for any 2WD’s. We have a MH and had access to both power and water if required. We didn’t bother. We were met by the engaging host Adrian who kindly showed me around. What a gem of a place. Manicured lawns in a large fully fenced paddock with a new camp kitchen, hot shower and seperate very clean toilet. 4 sites in total. Lovely dam to the rear of the property and walks back on the roadway overlooking the ocean to the distance. Adrian supplied a great fire pit, kindling and wood at a cost of $25 per night. Overall a wonderful stay - well worth a visit - you won’t be disappointed. Will definitely be back.

We enjoyed a week in a tent at the scout camp, and are very grateful they're willing to share the place with others. Plenty of gas-fired instant hot water for the showers, potable water, and it felt safe and secure. Although on 80 acres, the allocated Hipcamp area was in the south east corner, near Hearn Rd and Park Rd. There's an urban bus stop in Hearn Rd ~250m from the camp entrance.

Loved our semi private camp site overlooking the water. We were able to go for lovely beach walks, and ride our bikes on the beach at low tide. Our dog loved his time there too. The staff at the park were all very welcoming we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we will be back for sure.

In the middle of the bush, in the middle of suburbia! Close to the beach and shops for supplies if needed. Plenty of space, but flat ground is limited. Heaps of ground wood to keep you warm and big fire drums to burn it in. Hot water was patchy, but grateful for toilets and showers that were there. Comms were great and were made to feel welcome, thankyou.

Loved our mini stay - quiet and relaxing. Lots of space and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Lovely and peaceful. Would have loved to extend, but had to get back to the daily ‘grind’. We did have some trouble figuring out how to get the water hot, not sure if that is a permanent issue - didn’t reach out to the hosts as we were too relaxed to worry about it! We had a fantastic stay at Bay Park. The site was spacious and peaceful, offering plenty of room to spread out and relax. The facilities were spotless and clearly very new, which made the experience even more comfortable. Our host was friendly and welcoming, and we were pleasantly surprised to find power available, even though only a water tap was listed in the description - a great bonus! Another highlight was the generous firewood bundle, which easily lasted us four nights and kept the campfire going strong. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a well-maintained, quiet escape with thoughtful touches.

What a wonderful property. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. Beautiful views. Great camp kitchen and shower and toilet. We had such a relaxing break away. So peaceful. We spotted, kangaroo's 🦘 rabbits 🐇 and a very happy Koala 🐨. The sunsets were incredible. We would highly recommend and we will return. 👌👍😁😁🔥🍷🍾🥂

Son and I spent 2 nights, lots of green grass and surrounded by tall trees. Farmland on one side and tree line on other makes for lots of serenity. Host was very friendly and provided firewood, drinking water, and had shower and toilet available. Close to Port Welshpool for fishing.

Loved pur stay at the Bay Park and qlukd definitely go back for longer stays as we didnt get to use any of the kids' activities. We love the Bay Park for its easy access to the beach and shops, as well as for the huge sites and the tranquillity despite being very close to the town centre; it beats the foreshore campgrounds around the area anytime of the day! Kids love the communal fireplace have made friends during our brief stay. The shower was on the colder side; it wasnt an issue for such a brief stay, but thought we'd mention it for management review. Loved the personalised welcome where I didnt even have to step out of the car nor wait to be taken to our site.

It is truly a beautiful rural setting with the convenience of a camp kitchen toilet and shower which have been beautifully designed and built . The area to camp is fenced off but that guest stop the magnificent views. Cows were neighbours plus a koala in the tree near us . Lush grass to camp on. The hosts were great and we had Adrian the farmer deliver us our fire pit and kindling and wood each night . We were able to top up the wood from the stockpile. It’s only about 15 minutes to the beach and we also had lunch at the tarwin lower pub which was only around a 10 minutes drive . Wonderful stay

Where to go

Wilsons Promontory National Park

East of Inverloch, the wild beaches and windswept sea cliffs of Wilsons Promontory National Park afford plenty of ways to escape the crowds. Hike to the viewpoints of Mount Oberon and Mount Bishop, explore the Big Drift sand dunes, or pitch a tent in the wilderness. There’s also a camping area with BBQs, an amenities block, and a camp kitchen at Tidal River.

South Gippsland

The 12-km coastal drive from Inverloch to Cape Paterson serves up some of South Gippsland’s most dramatic ocean views, hugging the sea cliffs of the Bunurong Marine National Park. Hop out to admire natural wonders such as the Eagles Nest, Flat Rocks, and The Caves, and park your motorhome at a rural Hipcamp along the way. Further west, dive into Victoria’s coal mining history at Wonthaggi, go bird-watching around the Wonthaggi Wetlands Reserve, or hike the George Bass Coastal Walk from Kilcunda.

Phillip Island

Dangling off the southwestern tip of Gippsland, Phillip Island is best known for its colonies of Little Penguins and draws a steady stream of day-trippers from Melbourne. The best way to witness the sunset Penguin Parade is by staying the night, so snag a spot at one of the island’s holiday parks, Hipcamps, or glampsites. With extra time on the island, you can also stop at Seal Rocks, hike the Cape Woolamai Walk, and visit the Koala Conservation Centre.

When to go

It’s warm enough for swimming and water sports at Gippsland’s beaches from late spring through early autumn, but avoid the peak summer months (Dec-Jan) if you don’t like crowds. March is an ideal compromise and also sees the town host its annual Inverloch Jazz Festival. Winter weather can be wet and cold, although it rarely dips below freezing, and this is the time to spot migrating whales along the coast.
