Enjoy the tranquil surroundings and view to Westernport Bay while staying in a totally off-the-grid property as the island has no road access from the mainland. Arrival is by ferry or barge and each property is self-sufficient and eco friendly leaving minimal carbon footprint. Either choose to stay in one of our self-sufficient cabins or camp on our grounds. Site 2 is located in a more secluded area of the property over looking our horse paddock. Guests will need to be fully self contained with their own toilet facilities. There is so much to do on French Island whilst staying at Bayview Cabins. From nature walks, spotting koalas, bike-riding and relaxing. If you want to venture further you can do so. French Island is a tranquil place to walk, hike, cycle or drive around, where you will discover one of the most unique and environmentally diverse locations in Australia. Two-thirds of the Island is national park, rich with over 230 bird species and over 600 plants species including 105 species of wild orchids.

Each cabin contains a queen size bed, bathroom and kitchen. A single stretcher bed can be added to accomodate a third guest for an additional fee.
