Welcome to The Secret Place, a 13-acre bush paradise, just ten minutes out of Ballarat.
We have two camping areas: Bush Bliss, where you can unwind among the eucalyptus trees, or the enchanting Magic Forest which runs along a dry creek bed surrounded by pine trees. Some Bush Bliss campsites can be driven into (weather permitting), for others it's about a 5 minute walk from the carpark. It is also about a five minute walk from the carpark to the Magic Forest campsites.
There are also a limited number of levelled spots for camper vans, which is on a grassed area near the pine forest. Please check with us before booking a campervan site as access is weather dependent.
All camp sites have been levelled for your comfort and offer peace and privacy. Sites within these three areas are not designated, and there is plenty of space, so feel free to choose your site when you arrive.
Camp facilities include toilets, and for group bookings, you can also use the outdoor kitchen (provided you contact us first about this).
There is also large communal camp fire pit.
LOVE BUS! We also have a bus on the property, which is fitted out with a complete bedroom, toilet, shower, kitchen and lounge. This can be rented separately. Contact us if interested in this.

You have access to a toilet in the main house during the hours of 7am - 10pm (house locked overnight), and you can choose to use the bath or shower for an additional cost too.
There's a river walk nearby and another beautiful natural site (sacred to the local indigenous peoples - the Wathaurong people) called Dog Rocks. There's also a kids park walking distance from the land.
A single mama (soulful woman, passionate about community, loves dancing and having her hands in the veggie garden) and her 2 year old son (we practice aware parenting) live in the house and are keen to have play dates when it flows!
You are welcome to stay for one night, or up to 60 days (bloody council!), but we're open to connecting and playing, or can give you space to do your own thing.
Please note:
- The toilet is only available 7am - 10pm and the house with the toilet will be locked overnight. Please only book if you are okay with no toilet access during the night.
- This property is a drug and alcohol free space, and no consumption of either is allowed.
- The property is not fully fenced, so any animals will need to remain on a lead.
- Connecting to power and the use of the bath or shower require an additional charge (toilet access is free). Power hookup - $10 per day additional. Access to bath/shower in bathroom - $10 per adult, $5 per child, per visit.

Hello beautiful humans, I’ve recently moved to this property and immediately want to share it with you.
It is incredibly private and peaceful, even though small, as the space sit’s on a much larger property. It is securely fenced for animals and kids, with an easy and short driveway directly to your site. The area is relatively flat and easy to set up on. Perfectly positioned only 13 minutes away from the popular town of Torquay, it’s beaches, organic store, and everything else that is the Surf Coast and Great Ocean Road. You are also only 25 minutes from Geelong CBD.
I am a deep soul who loves to connect with others, and nature. I also very much enjoy rest after a big week conscious parenting and farming.
I live at the property with my beautiful 2.5 year old son and our animals (toy Cavoodle Bailey and 3 baa’s including a baby lamb). We may also have some chicken’s during your stay. There is also under cover parking if you wish.
Their is a communal fire pit that you are welcome to use if nobody else is using it.
Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure.
Pets are allowed on leash.
This property is a drug and alcohol free space.
Electricity if required is $10 per day.

We are located under 20km from Torquay and Anglesea, which is the gateway to the Great Ocean Road. It's an ideal spot to base yourself and explore the beautiful scenery of the region. Also just 30km from Geelong.

Please ensure you are self-contained with your own camp toilet and take all waste with you when you go. There is a public dump point at Winchelsea which is just 15km away.

This is a stunning bush block within walking distance of all Aireys Inlet has to offer. 12 acres of forest bordering the Otways National Park. One of the boundaries is Distillery Creek, famous for the nearby Distillery Creek track (cycling and hiking). You can camp in splendid isolation in the forest, or in one of the paddocks.
The only hitch is that there are no toilets in the forest or the paddocks. We welcome campers who have their own camp toilets and who will take their waste with them, leaving the forest just as beautiful as you found it.
If you really want to stay and the only hitch is the toilets then write to me and maybe we can sort of something, depending on where you want to camp and for how long. We do have toilets in our house. Who knows maybe we can work something out!

There are great 4WD tracks located around the area and a short 15 minute trip to Torquay or Aireys Inlet, 10 minutes to Geelong and Winchelsea amenities are close by, but you will feel a world away from it all here.
There is no toilet facilities at the camp ground, but you will find a public toilet about 400 meters from the camp site located at the Wurdale Hall
