Only 3 large campsites! Great for family groups and friends, lots of room. Kids under 5 stay free, pet friendly. North East Vic is a tourist mecca, with food and wine, lakes and rivers, cycling and markets, mountains and waterfalls. - We are only 2 and half hours from Melbourne and 20 mins off Hume Fwy, via Wangaratta. Please read the whole listing, lots to tell you about us. Campsites 1 is large and can accommodate two vans and 2 - 3 tents (or 14 -16 people). Campsites 2 and 3 are smaller and more suited to one van with 1 - 2 tents (or 4 - 6 people). Ample car parking. Campsites are 110m apart with a light screen of trees in between, no crowds here. Accessed via 3.5km of rough dirt track - not recommended for low vehicles or low towing vans. The track is rough BUT easily driven by all vehicles - just drive slowly. Dogs welcome, firewood is easily gathered by you, and often in piles by your campsite. Campsites are NOT near water. They are near a dry gully, with an **** unfenced dam.**** We have a beautiful swimming hole at the property entrance, in Boggy Creek. Guests are welcome to enjoy the shaded lawn area, BBQ and pot belly fire. The creek is 3kms from the campsites. Near The Hut is the gate to take a walk up to Sugar Loaf (500m return), where you can see amazing grass trees and place a rock on the cairn. Look for the wallabies that live up there. Stay with us to get away from crowded campsites, to enjoy a quieter holiday, while being close to a great tourist district. The King Valley showcases wineries, gourmet food, eateries, restaurants, pubs, brewery, even a gin distillery. We are surrounded by creeks, rivers and lakes, with many fishing, swimming and kayaking options - all within a 30 minute drive! Take a walk to the top of Sugar Loaf, and see unique grass trees on this rocky hill, while catching sight of Mount Buffalo. 8kms to Moyhu which has a pub, coffee shop, general store - all with great food options. You can get petrol, take away, gas etc.

Beautiful spot on a sweeping bend of the Murray River not far from the spectacular Hume Dam. This campsite is situated on a working beef cattle, lamb and merino wool property is only 14km from the major border cities of Albury-Wodonga. It is home to a diverse range of wildlife with over 100 species recorded on the property including wetland birds, platypus and the endangered squirrel glider. The farm has been run by the same family since 1919 and, as the 4th, 5th and 6th generations on the farm, we are honoured to be able to share this wondrous space with you! Uninterrupted views to the sky also offer amazing stargazing. Everton township only 4.5 kilometres away has a general store which offers take away food, a service station and also a lovely historical hotel. A great base to explore the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail only 1.7 Klms to Everton Station junction where you can choose your destination for the day. Also a gateway to exploring Beechworth , Eldorado and surroundings. Milawa gourmet region also close by. Pioneer Bridges is a great local swimming spot for a refreshing dip in the warmer months, located 1.5 kilometres from the Everton township. It’s also dog friendly. A plumbed toilet, sink - cold water only, also cold shower and power are available in the nearby shed (50- 70 meters) depending on where you set up. A leave no trace request also applies. Both Telstra and Optus mobile coverage at the property. In the warmer months a gazebo for additional shade is a good idea. An all weather road will accommodate most setups for access thru 12 feet roadside gate.

We welcome pets on leashes, but they must be under control at all times by owners and cleaned up after. We ask that you organise and confirm any animals coming to the farm prior to booking by message. The powered camp site can cater up to 50 people. $50.00 per person per night (except children under 10 years old). All persons under 18 years of age are to be supervised whilst on the farm. Alternatively, for people not wanting to camp out or those with caravans or RV’S we have a site in close proximity to a 20 x 9 mtr shed, powered with concrete slab. The powered shed site is $50.00 per person per night. Hunters Spread is approximately 3.5 hours from Melbourne. The farm is approximately 30 minutes drive to Beechworth, Bright and Lake Buffalo and about 50kms to Albury Wodonga. Murray River Seclusion was a wonderful peaceful experience. Having not been off grid properly before we were so happy with this little piece of paradise. Elle was a delight to deal with and we loved swimming in the fresh clean river!! We also loved seeing the occasional tinny go past for their fishing adventures! We were also delighted to hear they only allow one caravan/van/camper at a time on their premises. There is an abundance of bird life that we loved spotting and we also saw several wombat holes, and what I think was a Platypus swimming around in the river. Thoroughly recommend this beautiful spot!!! If you find yourself without supplies there is a petrol station come general store (includes beverages for the over 18's down the road on the Victorian side of the bridge!!

Great spot by the river. Quiet, peaceful and calm. If you’re in a Van, park on the shoulder of the road and walk over and open the gate first. It’s not well marked but it’s quite obvious and allows you access more easily. Plenty of room here, and lots of ways to camp. For us this is what Hip camping is about - people sharing access to properties you otherwise wouldn’t get to see. The river is fast flowing and clean, we watched people fishing quite successfully. Close enough to Albury to be away from the hubbub and zero traffic noise. Highly recommended

A great place to camp. Quiet, isolated and super beautiful surroundings. There is 2x other sites nearby but they're far enough apart and separated by trees that your site feels private. The swimming hole near the house is a bonus on hot days and the flushing toilet close to the camp sites is amazing. Stewart and Gayle pop by everyday to say hi and make sure the fire water containers are full. Definitely going to stay here again and for longer next time.

TRACK CONDITION The track to the campsite is bumpy and needs to be driven slowly, we have had a 22ft caravan towed by a 100 series set up here with no troubles. We understand that State Forest attracts hunting, which we are all for, however, we ask you to respect our wishes and keep all firearms legally stored while you are on our property. Campsites 2 and 3 are smaller and more suited to one van with 1 - 2 tents (or 4 - 6 people). Ample car parking. Campsites are 110m apart with a light screen of trees in between, no crowds here. Accessed via 3.5km of rough dirt track - not recommended for low vehicles or low towing vans. The track is rough BUT easily driven by all vehicles - just drive slowly. Dogs welcome, firewood is easily gathered by you, and often in piles by your campsite. Campsites are NOT near water. They are near a dry gully, with an **** unfenced dam.**** We have a beautiful swimming hole at the property entrance, in Boggy Creek. Willowbank is a fourth generation cattle farm and when you arrive at Willowbank you will feel like you are a million miles away from anywhere but you are only 2.8km from the centre of Albury and 2.9km to Wodonga from our sites . We are less than 5 minutes away from the beautiful South Albury cafe and boutique shopping precinct; Ebden & Olive, Nannina's, Meraki, Platform 9, South Albury Take Away, Di Billet, Almar Organics, Sukor Wellness & Recovery, The Red Devil Brewery, Tucker on Townsend, Chic to Chic and more. We are also only 3.5km from Harris Farm Markets. Albury's public Dump Point at Albury Railway Station is less than 5 minutes away. Each of our camping sites is well away from each of the others and there is plenty of room at each site for children to play. The two best sites for swimming are The River Bend and The Willows. We encourage the use of life jackets for children in the water at all time. We have no toilet or shower facilities at any of our sites so you are required to bring your own toilet with you.
