We really had a good experience here!! Nic was welcoming us and made us to feeling at home! Such a wonderful place- zen, cave and fairy house! You can find everything you need to stay there for days-clean toilet, a hot shower with a beautiful view and quiet atmosphere. It rained while we were staying but we still enjoyed a lot. I hope we could have stayed longer and cant wait to stay again!

It was great! We had such a great time camping at Shiprock. The facilities make the stay so easy. The shower felt like luxury! And the kitchen and undercover area made it much more enjoyable as it rained for a couple of hours on one of the nights we were there. We’ll be back!

Amazing place for our first time staying at a farm. Damien the host greeted us when we arrived and welcomed us and also provided us with a fire pit. The farm is in walking distance to the beach and local shop. This is in a great location and highly recommended. We will definitely be coming back and staying again

Lovely camping at Creek Side. Great instructions to get to camp. Next to a small creek too cold for us to swim and looks good for fishing. We towed a 2.4tonne 16’6” caravan to the spot. A bit tight in places and had to engage 4WD High to access the site. Other sites are close by so if you want a completely isolated camp either go to site 5 or the Hill Top site noting a steepish hill to access with a caravan. Would highly recommend and hope to come back one day. Thank you for sharing your property.

2 nights at Galea Ranch

Sharelle and Wayne were warm and welcomed us when we arrived. They led us to our camp site which had privacy and plenty of space. We were first time campers and they explained the on site amenities really well. Toilet was really clean and the playground entertained the little one for a long while. The weather wasn't so kind to us on the first night so we left the next day. We would definitely visit again

We loved hidden hill top camping. Great view, with peaceful spot. We definitely recommend either going as a group or just romantic getaway for couples. Rebecca was very helpful and we will go back again soon. If it was flat surface on the top near fire pit wold have been much better for tent campers.

2 nights at The Sheltered Glamping Co.

I arrived at my campsite after detailed instructions sent by my hosts and knew straight away I was where I was meant to be. The grounds were in a lovely sheltered area of Ventnor with a wonderful country feel. I could see cows grazing on the nearby hills, native black tailed hens and cape barren geese pecking in the grass, and was later treated to swamp wallabies bounding through tea trees and paddocks. The setup was exactly what I was looking for. A stable tent with a comfy mattress which was pitched underneath a huge cypress. I had my own cooking gear for some packet meals but there was a communal kitchen in the centre of the grounds which was well sheltered and also contained three small barbecues and facilities for washing up as well as a large table and ample seating. I could hear the ocean in the distance and walked to Berry’s Beach later that evening to watch the sunset which was picturesque and added to the feeling that I was miles away, even though it one took me an hour and a half to get there from bayside Melbourne. My host delivered rechargeable lights to my tent which made a nice touch and also helped charge my phone overnight. I hiked to Pyramid Rock the next day and met the lovely staff at Phillip Island Winery for a late afternoon tasting. The winery is only 800 metres up the road and has a great providore as does an awesome lunch or just a take away coffee. I really enjoyed my stay and I WILL be back.

4 nights at Gilwell Park Adventure Centre

We loved our stay! Such a naturally stunning bit of bushland up in Gembrook with all the necessary amenities you could want (flushable toilets, hot showers, drinking water, firepits and plenty of firewood). We were lucky to see lots of bird life and had some gorgeous, clear starry nights 🤩 Its super close to the town of Gembrook so it's easy enough to restock food/ice etc if you were staying for a longer period, the only downfall being noise from the main road (cars and motorbikes), but tbh it was a relatively rare disruption to the peace. Thanks for having us!!

Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks. We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies. Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible. Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by. Additionally, we have now entered our Fire Danger Period for the 2024/2025 Summer Season. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely on the day and we will advise as such. Our interest is with your safety, our neighbors and our property & family.

Nestled amongst the mountains just outside of the township of Whittlesea our 40-acre property sits above the clouds. This experience comes with sweeping views, a hidden waterfall, a clear campground, and plenty of wildlife. The camping area is accessible by 4WD only, otherwise, strap on a backpack and earn it! (800m walk/hike from where a non-4WD can park). The waterfall is reached by a single trail track from the campsite, and you do need to be an experienced hiker to get to the waterfall. Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks. We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies. Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible. Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by. Additionally, we have now entered our Fire Danger Period for the 2024/2025 Summer Season. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely on the day and we will advise as such. Our interest is with your safety, our neighbors and our property & family.

Nestled amongst the mountains just outside of the township of Whittlesea our 40-acre property sits above the clouds. This experience comes with sweeping views, a hidden waterfall, a clear campground, and plenty of wildlife. The camping area is accessible by 4WD only, otherwise, strap on a backpack and earn it! (800m walk/hike from where a non-4WD can park). The waterfall is reached by a single trail track from the campsite, and you do need to be an experienced hiker to get to the waterfall. Which is part of the appeal! We welcome self-contained campers, who bring their own toilet and take all waste with them. We have a strict Leave No Trace policy. Or choose to stay in our beautiful A-frame cabin, with plush bedding, cozy fire, and outdoor lounge. More than anything else this is a place to relax and be away from normal, live outside yourself, and rediscover what weekends are for. Dogs are welcome, so long as they don't bother the wildlife. Campfires are allowed, BYO firewood or campers can collect fallen timber from the property.
