On most Saturdays our small farmgate stall is open near the farm garden, off Bruny island Main Rd near Simpsons Bay Turn Off. The farmgate stall offers farm garden produce, cookies, jams, preserves & firewood. The Woodlander Campsite is set in our bottom forest paddock, next to a dam, with a seasonal winter creek. It is private and peaceful, with no other campers, houses, or nearby neighbours. We welcome travellers, with up to two vehicles, who are here to enjoy the peace and quiet (no parties please). The campsite has its own separate access, site toilet, solid picnic table and chairs, firepit and and is approximately 600 meters from where we live. Next to 70 acres of forest the location is great for birdlife, with many of Tassie's endemics around, and other wildlife abundant after dark. We are always happy to help with birding or wildlife tips! Based approx 5 minutes from Alonnah and 10 minutes from Adventure Bay, the "Woodlander" is central to so much of what Bruny Island has to offer.

The Bunkhouse is a beautifully built structure, with large windows and plenty of space. It's two storey, with the upper open-plan level accommodating 8 people in single bunk beds. A further two guests can sleep on the large sofa bed downstairs. The bunkhouse is fully self-contained with a kitchenette, toilet and shower.Clean sheets and blankets . Wi- Fi and streamed TV movie channels Please note - this is not the ritz! It's a simple bunkhouse, providing shelter to sleep, in a great location. If you wish to make use of the firepit, you'll need to BYO wood, this firepit is not often used. Instead, we'd recommend bringing a small portable bbq with you to set up by the river! This is a leave no trace property that suits campers who bring everything they need (including a camping toilet) and remove everything they bring. Good access for 2WD vehicles and caravans. On most Saturdays our small farmgate stall is open near the farm garden, off Bruny island Main Rd near Simpsons Bay Turn Off. The farmgate stall offers farm garden produce, cookies, jams, preserves & firewood. The Woodlander Campsite is set in our bottom forest paddock, next to a dam, with a seasonal winter creek. It is private and peaceful, with no other campers, houses, or nearby neighbours. We welcome travellers, with up to two vehicles, who are here to enjoy the peace and quiet (no parties please). The campsite has its own separate access, site toilet, solid picnic table and chairs, firepit and and is approximately 600 meters from where we live. Next to 70 acres of forest the location is great for birdlife, with many of Tassie's endemics around, and other wildlife abundant after dark. Based approx 5 minutes from Alonnah and 10 minutes from Adventure Bay, the "Woodlander" is central to so much of what Bruny Island has to offer.

We stayed at this camp and would recommend it highly. We towed our 18ft caravan to the top of the hill. The ground was firm and we had a lovely sea view. Nigel gave us some of his local knowledge and our 3 nights spent at this camp were very quiet.

We had the great pleasure of staying at Woodleigh for 2 nights. The spot was amazing . Beautiful grassed area next to a stream . Waves crashing just over the road. Lovely camp fire and beautiful gardens. Great place for our dog to roam and very close to the most beautiful beach. Only 2 campsites here so very private. Host was wonderful and welcomed us with her home made Berry jam and brought over firewood . This is a must stay. Don't miss it.

Us city girls had the most memorable stay at Honeywood Valley. It’s a proper working equestrian park, like a horse hotel crossed with a lifestyle farm, and it was exactly the kind of country escape we were hoping for. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by horse paddocks and could watch the horses all day long. Two gorgeous camp spots to choose from — one perched up on a hill with sweeping views over the property and rolling hills, and the other tucked down by a peaceful little pond. We picked the hilltop site and were treated to stunning views and even the distant twinkle of Hobart’s city lights at night. The site is beautifully peaceful in the day. It gets windy at night but that didn’t bother us. Kate is a fantastic host. She met us on arrival, showed us to the site, made sure we were settled, and then left us to enjoy the serenity. We asked if she’d be open to giving us a quick tour around the property — she agreed without hesitation, and it ended up being the highlight of our stay. In the morning we joined Kate on her rounds as she delivered feed to the horses. We got to meet the whole crew — every horse was gentle, charming, and full of personality. Kate even let us hop into her ute and took us around for a proper behind-the-scenes look. I learnt so much about horses and what goes into caring for them. You can really tell how much love and hard work she pours into the place. Honeywood Valley absolutely delighted us and we couldn’t recommend it more!

True magic! I would die for the views this place delivers. The views of Carlton River on the horizon are second to none. There were some friendly goats roaming around that we could even pet. Breathtaking! I watched a whale breach multiple times through the binoculars from the deck, had a relaxing soak in the outdoor fire bath, wandered the beautiful forest that surrounds the property, and enjoyed all of the wildlife even a white goshawk and pademelons with joeys! The bus is so comfy, cosy, the fire inside made sure of that. My second, visit and many more to come. A truly beautiful escape.

Great open space on the waters edge. The dam is interesting to walk along. No tree shade but thats ok in Tassie Spring. Lots of birds to watch. The dogs had a great time too. Great to have campfires- plenty of wood. There is a public toilet about 1km away just FYI.

Welcome to The Bush Circus. This is where I love to play and I welcome you here. All the deets you may need are listed here so read careful. Of course you can contact me if you can't work something out. You arrive here at the bottom corner of the property on Slab Rd where there is a place to park cars around several large gum trees. There is a very short walk through bush on manicured trails to one of three dedicated camp sites all of which is sign posted. There is also one RV spot at the car park. Toilet is located within a short walk from each campsite. All sights are reasonably flat and they all have a campfire. Please feel free to pick up twigs and breakable sticks to create a fire. If you want firewood it is $1 per piece and you can put this into the tin at where the firewood is collected. RV Spot- This is marked out as a section on the car park area. There may be some other cars near you but these are for the campers. Holy Tree Camp- The first sign takes you to this camp. You will see the tree with the burnt out base. Suitable for a small to medium tent. Tall Tree Camp- Second sign leads to here. It is adjacent to the tallest tree on the property. Small to medium tent. Octopus Tree Camp- Look up. You will see how it gets its name. Small to medium tent. This is a small property and if you get lost just follow the tracks you will find the camp you have booked. There are two toilets. Toilet one is for number 2's and toilet 2 is for number 1's. Just to make it confusing. All signposted but message me if you can't work it out. The circus area is not available for campers. Please contact me if this area interests you.
