My property is located on South Bruny Island, renowned world wide for its natural beauty and untamed coast , situated in Cuthberts Road is Homebush, built by my grandfather after his return from South Africa, Boer War around 1905, neighbouring some of Bruny’s best National Parks and close by surf beaches ( Cloudy bay, Adventure bay etc ) activities are a plenty, coupled with the glorious food available from Oysters,Cheese,Honey and the Winery, these are just a few of the available options for your trip to Homebush. Sites for vehicles are close by to a all year running creek, paddock access with private locations, no toilets or showers provided, Council have installed a refuse site for processing of grey waste etc nearby

Beautiful sites with enough privacy to feel alone in nature ! Little river flowing right at the bottom : sighted lots of pademelons but no white wallaby unfortunately ! Rod is a very welcoming host and even provided some firewood !

We enjoyed to stay this beautiful property by ourselves. A lots pademelones around , however we didn't see any white wallaby . We're very disappointed not allowed to use firewood when we stay . So less to see wildlife animals at night without fire

Rod is a great host. Has 5 sites in a beautiful tranquil location. Spent end of each day relaxing around provided fire pits. Close to Bruny Hotel too.

Hidden paradise!

What a hidden gem! This campsite blew all expectations away. It was truely stunning green rolling hills surrounded by trees and a small running creek. So much wildlife around and a very friendly camp host (and dog!). Firewood was provided. It was the perfect location to explore the island. We could have easily stayed a week. So peaceful. The kids loved it too. So much space to run around and wildlife to spot.

Rod is an extremely wonderful host! We were blown away by the beautiful view that he had on his land and how close it was to the Jurassic garden and great fishing spots.

Such a lovely place to stay and visit south Bruny (cloudy bay is one of our favourite places in Bruny). Rod was an amazing and friendly host and every detail are well thought through. The campground is well-maintained, and vast; leaving plenty of space for privacy. Rod even provides woodfire and water close to the campsite when needed (such a nice touch that we rarely see). Plus, you can admire the old shed and trucks around the property or spot white wallabies.

We had a great time camping in rod's farm, full of wildlife and well located! Rod was really helpful when we had some issues with our van and we had a great chat while waiting for mechanicien. A jewel in bruny island!
