The Gates of Heaven’s boundary goes down and runs along the dasher river. Beulah is a small township on the north-west coast of Tasmania south of Devonport, Tasmania, under the foothills of Mount Roland, Tasmania. 

The closest town of consequence is Sheffield, Tasmania. The hamlet of Lower Beulah lies, perversely, higher up the foothills of Mount Roland, to the south of the main township.

Rivers Edge

Rivers Edge is 24 acres of forest on the banks of the Leven River in Gunns Plains, Tasmania. We are in our own little valley surrounded by tall forests. Preston Creek flows all year through our property and meets the large Leven River where your campsite is situated. Perfect for trout fishing, platypus watching, bird watching or catching the sun setting through the trees on the river bend. There are even the endangered black fresh water crayfish.

The site is large enough for up to 5-6 caravans for large bookings, and we only take one booking at a time, so its exclusively yours.

We are only 20km to the nearest town, Ulverstone which as everything you need. 

The road is close by the campsite with easy access to find the property. No toilet facilities at the site. Sat TV is good and limited mobile reception. Telstra works best we've found. 

River access over a rocky, uneven embankment as it's a natural, untouched environment, just how we and the native animals like it. 

Campfires ONLY PERMITTED when fire restrictions aren't in place. You absolutely must make sure your campfire is fully extinguished before you leave.

Please check "My Trips" (in your profile) for directions once confirmed. Look for the 'Rivers Edge' sign on the entrance gate, then you know youve got the right site and not the neigbours property (which is along side mine on the river)

Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept with you at all times, no roaming dogs as the road is close by and we are a working hobby farm with animals.

We love the peace and serenity here so please no unruly behaviour or parties.

We grow and process organic certified medicinal herbs and plants.

The camping site is located in a beautiful location overlooking the lavender fields, in bloom december/january, with the ever-changing Mt Roland in the background. 

On days with cold southerly winds, alternative campingsites are available on the farm. Please contact us to find out. 
Includes use flushing toilet, hot shower and laundry (external access). Approx. 300m from the campsite. We are pet friendly.

We've got room for up to 5 separate bookings.

Due to shortage of personnel, we can no longer offer the farm tours.

But hipcampers are welcome to have a walk among the herb fields.

We are working together with other organic certified farmers. They lease parts of our land to grow vegetables. Hipcampers are welcome to have a walk around their crops as well.

Arrownest North West Acres

Our very private and peaceful 20-acre property has stunning views and a big dam, great for swimming and canoeing - but you will need to share it with platypus!  A family-friendly environment, which is close to many attractions including:- Gunns Plains Caves- Preston Waterfalls- Levan Canyon- Cradle Mountain (1hr)  - Bush-walking - Bird watching and a wildlife park 10 minWe also have a variety of fresh fruit growing on the property in the summer season, (end of December until April) - blackberries, plums, apples, nashis, raspberries and cherries! We'd love you to sample them! We have a clean grassed paddock with good access, a huge shady tree and spring water out of a tap nearby. Pets are welcome, provided they're kept on leads. You'll need to have your own amenities/camping toilet.  No amenities here. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place. We can supply firewood. Canoes supplied for a paddle in the dam also. Bring your horse if you wish for a donation only.

The Farm Cradle Country

** Seasonal Closure May 2024 - July 2024 **

Set high up in the mountains of cradle country at a 540m elevation, our beautiful  farm is peaceful and picturesque. The majestic presence of Mt Roland, Mt Van Dyke, Mt Claude and Black Bluff can be seen from various parts of our property with a stunning valley view sitting pretty at the rear of our plateau paddocks. 

Nestled in the heart of North West Tasmania with camping close to Cradle Mountain only a 35 minute picturesque drive, 15 min from Sheffield the town of Murals, 5 min to Lake Barrington perfect for swimming, rowing, water skiing, power boating and canoeing, 5 mins to Tasmazia with its model villages and endless mazes to occupy the kids along with many walks and natural Tasmanian attractions close by. 

Campfires permitted in designated area within the main campground when restrictions aren't in place. Firewood available. No amenities on site you must bring your own camping toilet and water. ** NO Dogs allowed on property as this is a working farm**

Blythe River Campground

Located on the wonderful Tasmanian Wilderness Rivers alongside the beautiful Blythe River and Adams Creek. This peaceful camp site is perfect for families and solo campers. ​

Toilet and shower facilities are available. Campfires are permitted, but firewood is not supplied feel free to bring your own. 

This is a dog friendly campground but we ask that they are kept on a lead at all times.

Burnie is around 20 kilometres away.
