We are a small horse spelling farm, situated just 7 min drive to Beef Expo. . Pink lilly, Von Allmen Road has plenty of room for your van or camp  setup. enjoy a great view of our horses in their paddocks.. flat grassy space, bonfire at night.

Rocky Campsite

Located outside Rockhampton on a 1 acre block. Nice quiet spot. Separate side access for campers. Fire pit available. Family home also on the block but you'll have the back yard largely to yourself.

This is a good campsite for travellers who need somewhere safe to stay overnight during their travels. You will need to be self-contained with own camping toilet/shower. 

Access to water and wifi. Dogs on leashes welcome.

Formally a horse spelling farm, "Prado Downs" is now home to Shiralee Clydesdale Stud. Offering both camping and a choice of a fully self contained 2 bedroom cabin or a fully self contained Winnebago accommodation, there is something for everyone.While you're here, book a horse and carriage ride (extra charge), feed the horses and pat the foals. We hope you enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and between March and September we ramp it up with activities of all sorts. Campsites can be on the slightly undulating, open lawn area, where there is bore water  available.  Or down by the dry creek under the gum trees.Construction is underway to provide tank water, and a Camp Kitchen. The flushing toilets and showers are up and running!While you're here, help feed the horses or pat the foals. Collect the eggs, or have a drink around the communal camp fire. Want quiet time - each site has its own smaller fire pit!15 minutes drive to Rockhampton - Or n your way to Emu Park Beach, you can visit the Camel Farm, or the Koorana Crocodile Farm.

After the spring rain, the dry creek turns into a beautiful swimming hole <3

Rockhampton (Near City) Paddock

Overnight spot close to Rockhampton CBD. There is access to a horse paddock via a gravel/dirt drive.There are no facilities so you need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water.There is a mobile tower in the back right hand corner.Please close the wire gate after you. Sometimes "unauthorised locals" put a couple of horses 🐎 in there which does not bother me. It's a handy spot close to town and services.You can have a small campfire but please ensure you're following any current fire restrictions and are fire safe. Pets on leashes welcome.

Milfarrago Farm

Camp on our farm in the heart of the Capricorn Coast, close to the beautiful beach of Yeppoon and Farnborough. There is plenty to enjoy in the area, including bushwalks, 4WD tracks, water activities and National Parks.On the farm you can see the many animals, including horses, pigs, chickens and alpacas. Farm produce available depending on time of year.  Campfires allowed (conditions pending). Just a short drive to beaches, bush walking and 4WD tracks. There are no facilities here, campers must be self contained and leave no trace.Powered Sites2 powered sites available with 10 amp connection. TV reception not available at this location.Unpowered SitesUnpowered sites available at our family farm, open areas available. Water available at a central location but not at each site. Located 15 minutes from Yeppoon Main Beach and Farnborough Beaches. Approximately 25 minutes to Byfield.

Rockhampton Stopover

We have a large space available for stopovers during your holiday travels.

This Rockhampton yard is near to all the services you may need: supermarket, shops and restaurants. We are located an easy drive to Yeppoon, the beach, the lagoon and the sail club. 

Campfires permitted.

Super close to Mount Archer and the National Park, which offer spectacular views of Rockhampton city, deep valleys, dry rainforests, fleeting glimpses of forest inhabitants and birdlife. The Park has some good bike trails and climbing spots.

You will need to be self-contained with own camping toilet/shower. We have drinking water and rubbish/recycling facilities. Your pooch is more than welcome as long as it's on a leash.
