We loved camping at Kookaburra Park. It’s a perfect set up for families. Our allocated spot was in the paddock and we were happily surprised to find our site had water and power, and was nice and close to the great ammenities. Truly the best mix of camping with creature comforts without feeling on top of other guests. Our little one loved the very well organised animal feeding (guinea pigs, goats, sheep, deer, ducks, geese and pigs) and the hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming. We can’t wait to go back.

Weekend Trip to Bunya Red Farm

Mandy and Alan were very welcoming. They greeted us on arrival, gave us the lay of the land and the rundown on the amenities. About 4ish, Alan came dosn and rounded up the 4 kids and whisked them off into the next yard to feed the alpacas. Unfortunately we got rained out and couldn't stay the planned two nights, but the kids had a ball mucking about in the rain and chasing the frogs about. The amenities are fantastic - best campground shower I've ever had. The kitchen area is well-configured and we found anything we hsd forgotten to pack was probably in there. I'm definitely keen to stay again, hopefully during some cooler and more predictable weather.

Bunya Red Farm was really fantastic! The caper farm tour was very interesting (and delicious) and feeding the alpacas was a highlight. The grounds were so picturesque with farmland views in all directions. We loved the star-filled night sky and serenity of the place. Mandy and Allen were incredible hosts. Would recommend a stay in a heartbeat.

We absolutely loved staying at Sean's property over the long weekend. Sean was great to deal with and very accommodating. The property is so close to 2 x boat ramps at Somerset Dam and Kilcoy. It was a great base for long days on the lake. The Shack was clean and had everything that you needed and the beds were so comfy. There were board games and ball games to keep the kids entertained and they even had a telescope where we could show the kids the moon up close. The whole property is large and quiet, and we honestly can't wait to come back again. Thanks for an awesome stay Sean!

We had the most wonderful experience at Bunya Red Farm! From the moment we arrived, Mandy and Alan made us feel completely at home. Graeme and the grandson Jax and Jacob welcomed us from the gate and lead us to the campsite. The friendly farm animals were also a big bonus. My son enjoyed this time playing with Jax and Jacob. We just had the most enjoyable 5 nights at Kookaburra park. Prime spot overlooking most at top of the hill, but still insight of the amenities. The kids loved all the animal feeding and guinea pig cuddles. Beth the chicken was a favourite among everyone. Steve and his family were great hosts. You could do as much or as little as you wanted, with beautiful areas around to explore. Great location, one to remember. We will be back 😊.
