To ensure a private and relaxed environment, we limit the campground to two large sites within this paddock, providing ample space for caravans, campers, and tents. Each site covers approximately 900 square meters, allowing plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the natural surroundings.
Nestled in a valley of rolling green hills beneath Mapleton National Park you'll find our beautiful property. Easy access from a well maintained dirt road. Cedar creek runs through the middle of the property for a nice refreshing swim in the swimming hole by the bridge or explore the meandering creek. There is a 4wd access road through to the mapleton national park for you to enjoy the hiking trails and nature.
We want your camping experience at Cedar Banks to be delightful while respecting our local community, wildlife, and surroundings.
To keep the area pristine, fires must be in allocated pits. You must bring your own wood or purchase some from us in advance and we will have it ready for you on arrival.
Pets are welcome with prior approval, but they must follow property rules. Swimming is allowed only during daylight hours, and caution is advised due to natural creek conditions. Jumping or diving is prohibited.
For the safety of all guests, property access is strictly for booked individuals, and non-paying visitors are not permitted. We encourage exploration on foot, as all areas are easily accessible. Please do not drive your vehicle around the property.
As there are no on-site toilets, kindly bring your own camp toilet and ensure proper waste removal. You will find a free dump point at Eumundi RV stop over on Napier road or in Kenilworth at the Showgrounds.

You will have a 5-acres to explore during your visit with a large flat campsite area with power and water if that is what you need. The onsite caravan – BETTY – is available for you if you need a bit more of a glamping holiday. Toilet is a composting toot. Self sufficient sites are available as well in another part of The Croft property near the dam and is accessed via the main property.
Options for visitors are tailored for the horse rider however you don’t need a horse to visit and enjoy what The Croft has to offer. You can also spend time with the horses here with a variety of experiences available as extras and as part of package deals and our flag ship Back in the Saddle retreat option.
There are many things to do in Blackbutt as well as spending some time at The Croft. Every 3rd Sunday is our market day, the renowned Blackbutt Bakery is always at your disposal and a great pub for a pub grub night.
The horse trails network is 500m up the road and has signage with town 1 hour ride away which I can take you on a ride to on the 3rd Sunday Market Day! I have access to the rail trail via private property, or otherwise you can utilise Staines Road to get into Benarkin State Forestry or the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail.
Dogs are also welcome who are well behaved and on a leash if others have horses with them. Please note that you MUST ensure your dog has tick prevention prior to arrival. Bookings require pre approval please. This is non negotiable to prepare for your stay.
All welcome to visit and please enjoy a campsite that will only ever have 2 bookings at a time in the 1 acre camping area.

We stayed with our camper van for 3 nights. Great site, well cared for and fully fenced which was perfect for our dogs. Will definitely go again with the family. Lovely little spot! Large flat pad that was secluded from other campsites. We had a ute with rooftop, then a gazebo with tent attachment and there was still heaps of room. You get your own personal entrance to the creek which was very clean and sandy bottom, plus very cold water on a hot day!! As an added bonus, we had absolutely zero mozzys or flies! Pretty unheard of on a farm paddock!

What a lovely spot for a few days. Clean mowed sites large enough for a family of campers. We kayaked (our own inflatables) every day, but all the sites on the water had kayaks or boats waiting for guests to use. Great kids playground, so will bring the grandkids next time.
We were warned about midges but we didn’t notice any. We did wear repellent every day though.
A bit of rain around the first day (still managed a kayak) and we managed to light a fire the second night which was nice at dusk with a sundowner 😊

If you’re looking to swap screen glare for some actual starlight, Noosa Equestrian & Camping is exactly what you need. We stayed there for a night, and with being relaxing with all the amenities you could need, the star gazing was incredible.
It was great as a stopover on our road trip north from Brisbane. After being stuck in peak hour traffic pulling in here was a relief. It feels tucked away enough that you actually get that "off-the-grid" vibe, but it’s still easy enough to get to that it didn’t add any extra stress or "detour fatigue" to our drive.
Waking up there left us feeling recharged for the next leg of our trip.

We stayed 3 nights and were very impressed at how well the property is maintained. There are no toilets but there there are a couple of powered sites. This is a great place for family’s and group camping as there is plenty to keep the kids busy. We were there after the school holidays so it was very quiet. Highly recommend
