Magic spot with a variety of friendly Animal People who welcomed us every morning as they cleaned up any crumbs around the camp , being quail, turkey roosters and hens who were courteous and polite. Horse , sheep and other Family members were all welcoming and a delight. The creek is a hidden gem at the base of a stunning backdrop of Mt Grainger came with a special needs friend who was stoked to say the least about the features and variety of activities. AAA+

Wow! What a weekend! Stayed at the Mountain View sight. We had 5 families stay with a pleather of kids. Vast open room beautiful views and great hosts. This is the second time I have stayed there and they have really made the sites so good for any size gathering. Once again we will be back. Dean brought down some animals for the kids to meet and they loved it. From kayaking to fishing there is so much for the kids and big kids to enjoy. Great facilities and they have the entire property in pristine condition. We recommend this to anyone from swags and tents to large caravans. Trust me make a booking and enjoy this treasured gem you won’t be disappointed. Thanks again to the happy and friendly hosts you made our weekend.

Weekend Trip to Hopevale Adventure Camping

The Mountain View site was perfect for a group of 8 people for 2 nights. It was spacious and away from other sites which provided us a noise-free getaway. The toilet and shower is situated right next to the site which was convenient. There are also hikes you can do on the land which gave us an activity to do throughout the day. Highly recommend this campsite as qe will definitely be coming back for another stay. Big thanks to Jason for being a great host.

Weekend Trip to Windyridge Creekside Camp

We absolutely loved this campsite. Great for the kids and dogs with the open space, and the creek with walking trails. The site is immaculately maintained and a lovely spot to unwind. The hosts very welcoming but not at all invasive of your privacy. We have a dog that does not like the company of new dogs so it can be challenging to find campsites where neighbouring properties dogs don’t wander over, this site was great and whilst we could hear some dogs around we didn’t encounter any so our boy had a relaxing stay as well. Will definitely be a camp we’d love to return to.

My kids and I had the absolute best time here! The windmill site was incredible, our own creek running alongside the huge open camp meant that there was plenty of room to relax. Jason was very hospitable and generous with his time, and the grounds and amenities were very well kept. The kayak at the dam was an added bonus! My only regret is that we didn’t have longer to stay and enjoy! Would highly recommend.

Really enjoyed our 2 night stay. Kaylea and Dean were very friendly and spent some time showing the kids the animals. Site was spacious with fantastic views.

We stayed 3 nights at Big Fig. The site was amazing and Jason dropped by each afternoon to see if we needed firewood or anything else. The amenities are clean and tidy. The entire property is beautiful. Will definitely be coming back again!

Great camp for Hiking enthusiasts. I managed to get to all the hikes in, in one day but would recommend doing it over 2 days instead to not rush. Very peaceful campgrounds with great views. Would definitely come again for the 4WD tracks next time.

Highly recommend staying at Hopevale Adventure Camping. We stayed at Mountain View camp ground which we loved. The place is quiet and very relaxing. Jason stopped by to so hello and we had a good chat about the area. We will certainly be returning to stay again. The amenities were very well maintained. Thanks again for a fabulous stay in a beautiful camp ground.

2 nights at Maluka Park

Brian and Jeanna are the perfect hosts. We booked our second visit last weekend and unfortunately it rained over 50mm over the stay. The camp-site (#6) had such a lush covering of broadleaf grass (lawn) that although it was saturated there was no mud in our camp ( 2 x 11yr old boys!). It was like camping on a sports field. The creek was lovely and the boys hooked a fish. Will be back.

We camped at the big fig campspot, and loved the privacy and beautiful large tree the kids spent ages climbing in. This site is right next to a seasonal creek, and even though we camped in the dry season, there was still a crystal clear pond with fish and tadpoles which the kids loved. The farm itself is stunning, and the owner was amazing, delivered wood to our camp twice! You can enjoy two hiking trails, although I would suggest some experience before attempting the hidden caves walk/climb. We will surely return.

Brian and Jenna are absolutely lovely hosts! The property is stunning and has something for all ages - from kayaking and fishing along the creek to the viewing platform and the short trail through the bush - it was hard to drag the kids and dog away from each adventure. The sites are perfectly situated along the creek, each with their own fire pit and having the flushing toilets nearby is an added bonus (they are kept super clean!). We can’t wait to come back!

This is an immaculately presented property with very clean and well marked sites. The hosts are super friendly and accommodating as well as thoughtful. Location is 20 minutes from Coolum and central to lots of local attractions. We will definitely be camping here again.

We loved camping here!! Nice and peaceful, heaps of space between sites and the dogs absolutely loved running around the massive plot of land - even went for a little swim in the dam. The owners checked in on us to see how we were getting on and gave us some places to go around the area 😊

We loved our camp site at Silky Oaks, it was clean and well maintained. The facilities were extremely clean. Our fur babies loved the space to run around. And Dean and Kaylea were so lovely and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Maluka Park

Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. Kayaks are provided free of charge for all campers to use in Yabba Creek. Please treat them respectfully and return them back to their launching place just below the powerlines. If you wish to bring along your own kayak, you can launch them at the walkway between campsite 8 and 9 where our camp kayaks are stored, however, cars are restricted from driving down to the water edge so you will have to carry them to the water to launch them. Please note that you are responsible for your own kayak. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

The Cooke Family welcomes you to “Hopevale”. A beautiful 113 acre property bordered by Wrattens National Park at the edge of the world in the peaceful Widgee district of greater Gympie. Jason, a landscaper by trade, and Jacinta a teacher by profession, met many years ago at a national Christian youth conference. Four beautiful children later and many years down the track, they bought Hopevale as a blank cattle fattening property in 2018. After much hard work, they have made it what it is today, with plans to continually improve. We have different camp options available, one of which is set up for those guests also wanting to stay with horses or just have a larger group booking. Guests will have access to a toilet and shower throughout their stay which is within walking distance from each of the campsites. Campfires and pets are welcome. The property has only had 4 farming owners in its 110 odd years since it was first surveyed and selected in 1915. The Hillcoats, Bishops, Cotters, and now the Cooke’s. The families over the years have used the property for timber getting, dairy, beef and small cropping. The property is geologically rich with volcanic soils, sandstone escarpments full of caves and overhangs. The mighty Wrattens Falls sits to the back of the property in the National Park and is a sight to behold in full flow. It feeds the head waters of the western branch of Widgee Creek which meanders through the property. The subtropical dry rainforest clad mountains are dominated by the majestic Bunya and Hoop pines and are a testament to what once was covering the entire property before being cleared for farming. Remnant riparian creek lines are botanically rich and diverse holding Red and White Cedar, Teak, Silky oak and many other coveted timber trees harvested back in the day. There are many species of animals and birds that call Hopevale home. From water dragons, frogs and fish in the creeks, monitors, wallabies, deer, koalas, possums and phascogales in the eucalypts. Red-back wrens, pardalotes, rainbow bee-eaters, finches and quail call the open grasses home while whip birds give their iconic call in the forest. Above, birds of prey ride the thermals of the valley looking for their next meal. “We have been blessed beyond measure with a small slice of God’s wonderful creation that we would love to share with you.”

This is the perfect space to have some peace and quiet in a fantastic location just 10 mins from Coolum or Yandina township. We have so much room and the polar opposite to a caravan park hustle and bustle. Perfect for groups or if you want peace and quiet by yourself. It is a secluded property with activities to keep you occupied during the day. Beautiful creek walk with lots of water dragons, birds and fish in the creek. Swim in our beautiful fresh water dams. We also have baby dairy calves which you can. Fishing is encouraged and people have caught lots of Brim and Jack. If you wish to go offsite there is Coolum Beach 10 minutes away or hike Mount Ninderry only 8 minutes away. 15 minutes from Eumundi markets. Pitch your tent or caravan next to the Maroochy river creek inlet. You will have your own private access to the creek and full privacy. Drinking water and toilets are not available so don't forget to BYO. Fires are allowed on-site in the allocated fire pits. Dog friendly.
