We stayed one night in the cabin and it was just beautiful! The place is stunning and the cabin really cute. Worth it getting there before sunset if on a nice clear day. Toilet and hot shower working well and with a view! Phil and his dogs are lovely hosts😊thank you!!

Weekend Trip to Field of Dreams, Haigslea

We loved the field of dreams! We were a group of two caravans, tent and rented the cottage too for a family camping trip and this place was perfect for it. The views are amazing, the property tidy and beautiful and the kids loved the cows! Phil was a great host and we're very fortunate to be allowed to experience a part of his beautiful property. It got pretty chilly at night but the campfire kept us warm with plenty of firewood to collect! The open bathroom might be a bit off putting for some as it's not very private (away from camp though) but has a hot water shower. Probably our favourite hipcamp to date and we'd happily come back!

Weekend Trip to Gypsy Cabin

My partner and I had a great time staying at Gypsy Cabin. We stayed during the Easter long weekend and the weather was perfect. Not too hot and cold enough to enjoy the huge firepit. The cabin felt private enough from the owner's property with the surrounding trees and wide land. The animals were friendly and approachable (especially when being fed). The host Juliette was great at communicating and she left us some firewood, animal feed and Easter eggs to enhance our stay. The bed was very comfortable and we had everything we neefed to enjoy our stay. Would love to come back.

Love the cottage and area, quite, peaceful and felt more like private lake, perfect for water activities like kayaking.

We spent two nights at the cattlemen’s cabin for a family adventure. Had a fantastic weekend - we loved it here. The kids loved the creeks, riding on the property on their bikes and cooking marshmallows on the fire pit. We hope to return again someday.

2 nights at Turkey's Nest Rainforest Cottages

It was so nice to stay in this cottage. Excellent environment and deep rain forest. The property is built in the middle of deep forest surrounded by big trees and bush. The cottage is the ideal design of old home. Totally refreshing and very cozy. Strongly recommend.

2 nights at Echoes in the Valley Gatton Qld

WOW! Views forever ! Book this place if: -you don’t want to setup tents -you like shower/toilet facilities -you like not having to bring the kitchen sink - you love listening to the crickets and enjoying the stunning view without interruptions. It’s not a palace but it’s comfortable and peaceful! Plus it’s fully self sufficient with solar panels providing lighting and hot water. Francine is a brilliant host and gave us a ride up the mountain on her quad.

Our family recently enjoyed a fantastic stay at Diggers Rest in Beerwah, Queensland. Nestled amidst the stunning Glass House Mountains, the off-grid cabin offered breathtaking panoramic views. The cabin itself was comfortable and well-equipped, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the pool. Perfectly maintained and consistently refreshing, it was the ideal place to cool off during the day and enjoy the starry night sky. The hosts, Karen and Tash , were incredibly welcoming and attentive. They went above and beyond, providing extra fans and water to help us stay comfortable during a particularly hot period. We highly recommend Diggers Rest to families and couples seeking a peaceful and relaxing getaway in a beautiful natural setting. The combination of stunning scenery, comfortable accommodations, and exceptional hospitality made our stay truly memorable.

Moogerah Lakeside Bush Retreat is a small family owned and operated campground on the shores of Beautiful lake Moogerah in the heart of the Scenic Rim, SEQLD. We are conveniently located only 2km from the Cunningham Hwy and are set in a quiet bush location surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the Scenic Rim. We have a range of accommodation including powered and unpowered camp sites, group camp areas, bunk style cabins and a fully self-contained cabin. There is never a shortage of things to do, you can take a canoe or boat out for a cruise on the lake or try your luck at some fishing. Moogerah is well known for its large Bass & Yellow belly. There is a good bushwalk at the property that takes you out to Striker point and into the gorge waterfall with spectacular views along the way. If you have a 4wd you can take a short drive up to Spicers Gap National Park. Here there is a short walk out to the Governors Chair lookout with spectacular views of the Fassifern Valley and beyond. We currently don't have a boat ramp however once you have launched your boat at the public boat ramp we have a nice bay in front of the campground where you can anchor your boat.

Please note: Off Grid Stay - Yeates Road is the only access to Porfiri Rd and the campsites - NOT Stokes Road or Range Road - Porfiri Road (in places) does not do well after heavy rains! So please advise me of your vehicle type in your booking. - Small low profile tyres, sedans and hatchbacks will struggle - Motor-homes cannot make the drive (regardless of the weather) - AWD and 4x4 no problems. Vehicles with lift will have no problems. Our farm features bush and cleared areas on undulating hills. We are 100% off grid with fresh drinkable borehole water The campsite has lovely green grass, access to the pool and a picnic table, and fire pit. Compost toilet, hot bush shower and rubbish/recycling facilities. We are a small hobby farm with Bee Hives, Dogs, Cats, Chickens (a few roosters) horses, cows and a couple of pet pigs. We are located just 35 mins from Caloundra and 45 from Maroochydore. We are close to Australia Zoo, Ewen Maddock Dam, Maleny and Glasshouse Mountains. Enjoy mountain walks and cycling. We are located 50km from Brisbane CBD, 1km from the Warrego Hwy, Sundowner Saloon and the country township of Marburg. We have a several cattle and horses, and regularly kangaroo, hare, and eagles frequent the farm. All overseen and kept in order by the ever present "Ziggy" and "Harvey" our lovely English Pointers. Enjoy lovely views and relaxed peaceful settings. The farm is off grid but all the normal services are available. We also have a little vegie garden that always needs a water, and the animals love their carrots and grain. Close to Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, Fernvale, Upper Brisbane River and Wivenhoe districts. In the area, you may want to check out the township of Marburg (local pub, shops and coffee), Sundowner Hotel, Savages Crossing, or the RAAF Amberley Heritage Museum (plan ahead). Friendly pets welcome as long as they are kept under control and are not a danger to the livestock. Field of Dreams takes no responsibility for the safety of visiting animals. Please note: Owner lives on-site next to the camp site. Shared site and facilities including shared firepit with up to 4 other groups of campers. Usually 5 -15 people maximum onsite but sometimes more on peak weekends.
