Our property is situated on the banks of the great sandy strait just 400m from the Tuan Boat ramp with access to Fraser Island by boat or kayak. We are surrounded by Tuan State Forest and wetlands. There is a medium sized dam on the property for swimming.The Tuan Forshore has a park, BBQ area and picnic tables as well as garbage disposal. There is plenty of space in the surrounding forests for mountain biking, motor-biking and walking. 3km down the road in Boonooroo you will find a large park with tennis court and public BBQ's. The bowls club and Golf Club just 3km away and serve meals on weekends. This site is suitable for caravans, RV's, camper trailers. There is NO toilet facility on the property. We are VERY dog friendly and can be off lead as long as the dogs are friendly towards people and other dogs and don't bite our horses. We also have other peoples horses agisting in paddocks. Activities you can do include boating, kayaking, swimming, fishing, crabbing, walking, stand up paddle boarding, bird watching, kangaroo spotting, playing in the parks, beach tennis, mountain biking, hiking etc. Camp sites are far from the main house and other sites so you can have camp fires and play music, use generators without worry. Campers will need to be self contained (rubbish and toilets) and please leave your campsite the way you found it. Don't leave toilet paper or rubbish in fire pits please. Enter / Exit the main gate by pushing the code into the key pad. Gate closes after 20 seconds once it is fully open so be quick. NOTE: ***During Summer- November, December, January and February there are midgees (sandflies) at dusk and dawn and we do recommend midgee screening or spraying the mesh on your caravan windows as the standard mozzie mesh will not keep them out. Situated just 30-40 minutes from Noosa and Gympie, or an hour from Rainbow Beach, let our camp be your base for a trip of day time adventure and relaxing country evenings. We are also close to Noosa Everglades, which is one of two Everglade systems in the world. Coondoo Springs is a 185 acre property, featuring our very own climb-able Coondoo Mountain, cattle, natural springs, wild native animals, beautiful native bushland, starry nights, and over 200 identified species of birds. During your stay, you can embrace country living in many ways. Hike up Coondoo Mountain and enjoy views stretching from Fraser Island to Maroochydore. Befriend our cuddly farm dog, Fuz, and have a chat with land owner and host, David, who is full of knowledge on regenerative farming, information about the area, and stories of the world. With options to stay on powered concrete slabs, in a self contained shed apartment, in unpowered sites spread out through the property, or even stay in swags on top of the hill, we can accomodate all peaceful, self-contained, respectful visitors.

Our farm is a QUIET ZONE, No drunken stupidity, also great for children We also have FISHING our dams have been stocked with Silver and Golden Perch We also cater for quick over night stop overs from $15 Free Wi Fi We allow dogs, BUT they must refrain from barking and kept on a lead. Great for all types of tents, Camper Vans, Caravans and RV's 167 pristine acres of ex-dairy farm, with flat paddocks running along side 1 km of beautiful creek frontage, manicured rolling hills in the back ground that back onto National park. Our farm is very quite with 8 amazing camp site, We have 5 dams, 3 that are great to swim in with kayaking and noddles to float and relax on in the dams, a large pontoon on our main dam, a jetty on another, there are free roaming cattle to camp along side with lots of wild life to enjoy . We have 4 powered sites on Dingo Ridge hill top. We have different locations to camp at and some along side the creek, Platypus Bend, Possum Patch, Froggy Flat, Wallaby Way and Hidden Valley. We have 6 toilets a Hot shower, our water is filtered, but not suitable for drinking, we advise you bring your own drinking water but we do also sell drinking water, insect repellent and mash mellows. Camp fires. **Weather permitting** NO BYO, But we do supply. $25 1st day (includes: fire pit, fire wood, fire starter and matches) $20 each day after everything included, All guests must take their waste with them on departure, we do have 10c recycling, There are many places that you can visit if you feel like a short drive within 15- 60 min such as Breweries, Wineries, Beaches, Markets, Rock pools and the old famous Mary Rattler Steam Train. There is also many quite and beautiful small towns to visit, or just sit back and enjoy a cup of coffee and the peace and quite. North Gympie, 17min to Mary Valley Rattler train station, 32min to Mothar Mountain Rock Pools, 35min to Tin Can Bay, 50min to Rainbow Beach, 60min to the Sunshine Coast. Get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and have your own spot along side the beautiful running creek and enjoy the peaceful surrounds of nature. Quiet dogs are allowed, must be on leashes at all times and can not roam freely, pet waste must be picked up and taken off site when vacating.

We had such a wonderful stay at Sandy Creek Homestead, especially at Platypus Bend. The area was incredibly relaxing with beautiful views, and camping right by the dam made the whole experience feel so peaceful. We loved making use of the kayaks, took our stand up paddle board out on the water, and even managed to catch a fish! The hosts were super friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, which made us feel really welcome. Such a thoughtful touch having fresh mandarins delivered to us on departure too. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting.

Sandy Creek was so peaceful and relaxing. The dams are beautiful, great to freshen off. The grounds are immaculate and the owners are a lovely family, delivering firewood straight to your camp-site. We were even lucky enough to receive some home grown mandarins. Definitely be back!!!

This is a beautiful property, and Warren is the perfect host. With the assistance of his wife and friendly helpful staff, he does everything possible to ensure a great stay. We were easy walking distance to two dams suitable for swimming and kayaking, and right on the banks of the creek. Porta loos and a shower, non potable water. Free mandarins!!! Terrific for kids, with wide open spaces. Can’t recommend highly enough.

The privacy and sense of space. We booked at the mango tree spot. This is our third time and I’m reluctant to share with others as it’s become one of our favourite spots. It feels Tony and Julie have really given this spot love. There’s a book library, an awesome social fire pit, beautifully mowed and even fun little stone characters hidden. This time there were carved wood stump seats in place. The avocados were in season and we were gifted a bag. A shy kangaroo watched us as we woke one morning. A well needed break. Thanks again. We will be back.

The moment we reached the front gate, we could see the beautifully maintained grounds and knew this would be a great stay. Warren and Frank met us at the gate with big friendly smiles and became extremely accommodating hosts. They took us to our site which was huge and private. We were joined by our daughter’s family the next day and the 4 kids had a ball despite the somewhat inclement weather. They became explorers and cow whisperers! Having access to dams for swimming and the use of provided kayaks and paddle boards was fabulous. Bonus: onsite toilets and shower! We would thoroughly recommend this property now and especially with the future developments Warren is planning. Thanks guys. We’ll be back soon.

Great spot! Plenty of room between the camp spots and lots of citrus trees to scavenge from. The bar had great beer and food and the staff were super friendly and the music was an extra bonus. Would highly recommend. Not too far from Brisbane so will definitely be going back to see some of the upcoming acts.

Loved the freedom to set up camp anywhere we wanted on a great flat field with beautiful pencil pine, lime and lemon trees. Had toilets and showers, basic but adequate. Having the pub venue, with food and great entertainment was the best. A very relaxing stay.

We had a great relaxing time on our 2 night camp. Campgrounds were well maintained, and easy check in at the brewery. They have toilets at the brewery and rustic toilets and showers on the campground if needed but it’s recommended to be fully self contained. The brewery which is highly recommended to say G’day and enjoy a meal & a drink or 2. If you like music check the website for any up and coming music talents and festivals that might be playing when you want to visit. So whether your stay is for an event or just to relax, then sublime might be just what you need. We loved our stay and yes we will be back again.
