There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting. Check out the short hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience! You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk. The campsite is situated on the beach, sheltered by the sheoaks in the back dunes. At the rear of the campsite lies a freshwater lagoon, locally known as the keyholes. Currently, there are four sites available to be booked. There is a camp kitchen with a two gas burner, all pots and pans, plates and cutlery with table and chairs to sit at. There is also a big esky there to use for either your food or drinks. Fresh water is provided in twenty litre drums. The bush shower works on the keg being heated up just like a kettle. Once it is hot then a nice warm shower is to be had to wash off all the salt from the ocean. There is also two compost toilets for your convenience. A unique feature includes the opportunity for surfing, fishing, and swimming in your private lagoon. A short drive will take you to Point Lookout. 10 minutes and you are at the pub mixing with the locals. Access is via the beach only and tides are a consideration. Please check "Point Lookout tides" on Willy Weather. I don't normally travel on the beach if the tide is over 1.5 metres. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is required. Camper trailers can be brought in as they are light. Caravans are not permitted due to the tight turning circles.

We are close to the CBD so the site is a great option for a 'shake down' for your new caravan or camper trailer. If you're new to camping this is a great place to ease into a lifestyle that offers so many opportunities further afield. You won't have to share the campsite with other campers, you will have the spot all to yourselves. Supermarket, bottle shop, takeaways, cafe and pharmacy less that 4 km away. Campfires are permitted. Campfires permitted however must be kept within the allocated fire pit and must be outside of restrictions. You must have portable toilet and be fully self-sufficient. All waste to be removed by campers upon departure. We would like to preserve this site for all future campers so please ensure that you abide by our rules. Close proximity (driving) to the river for a spot of fishing, the bay for an early morning walk or explore with the kids and the local tavern for some adult time. A walk up Wallace road on an evening is quite nice if you are looking to stretch your legs. Glass house mountains are a 20-25min drive for some great hikes and if you make it to the top some worthy photos. Brisbane is 45min drive with no traffic. Bribie island is a 22min drive with lots of great cafes and flat walks available. IMPORTANT: The Ranch is on the corner of beachmere and Wallace road. Access is off Wallace road. After you turn onto Wallace road it’s the first right at the yellow letterbox. Pull through and down to the left. Through the gate next to the container out into the back paddock. Please keep this gate shut. There is a designated area for Hip-Camp straight and to the right near the fire pit and bucket. If you have animals please clean up after them and dogs are to be on lead if they do not recall or like to chase wildlife. As we have wonderful bird life along with lizards and chickens on the property. The fire pit has bricks around it. You can help yourself to any kindling but it’s BYO firewood. Please do not chop logs or collect logs from the property.

Weekend Trip to Rangetop Farm

Such a beautiful location with fantastic views! The horses just added that extra farm stay touch and made you feel like such a part of nature. We were unlucky enough to get caught in some big storms but the property was so well maintained it didnt affect us at all and no issues getting the caravan in and out. It was very windy though so don't make the same mistake we did by putting the awning out if the weather isn't 100%! Overall very private and relaxing location and only 10 minutes out from Dayborough. Will definitely be back.

2 nights at Rangetop Farm

Our campsite was perched on the top of the range with incredible views to the north & south. It was private and peaceful, the only sounds were from birdsong & the rustle of nature. We had a lovely swim in the dam which was clean & refreshing. We had a fantastic stay & look forward to returning. Thanks Viola!

Viola was very polite & brief. Showed me directly to my camp site of which was wonderful. So much room and spectacular views. So good to have the freedom with the option to have a camp fire. Highly recommended camping spot

Weekend Trip to Private camp site, Brisbane

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful, large and very private campsite. Debbie was great to communicate with and super friendly, she met us on arrival and showed us to the site and amenities. Our group had young kids, so the hot shower/bath was a huge bonus and being a 20 minute drive from home is the icing on the cake! Will definitely be back again!

We had the place to ourselves except for a hand full of permanent stay is that we’re friendly and we’re willing to help when we needed some help. It was peaceful. We just came from Brisbane 40 minutes up the road to have a break from society and go off grid for a little bit. Thank you Scott for shearing you land. .

Been here multiple times and every time is great! So close to home but feels so far away. We always grab the middle site and it's perfect. It's a great size with ample spots to set up. The hosts are easy to communicate with and always go out of their way to help.

Absolutely loved staying at the Range Top Farm camp, stunning views and plenty of space to spread out, the pond was is ready good for a swim and a paddle. Both sunrise and sunset is something not to miss. Will definitely be back again

1 night at Belmont Base Camp

This camp close to motorway which was great for us to get our running around done. It is a large grassy block with a lovely breeze. The block is utilised to store some other vans but we were the only campers at the time. We really appreciated the early check in and late check out. Having access to power and water made it a great spot to recharge before we continued on our way. Most places we looked at in Brisbane had a minimum 2 -3 night stay and at least twice the price.

This is a gorgeous place. It was a little windy and unfortunately it rained while we were there so we didnt get to enjoy the view. We may have to go again.

We would certainly recommend this farm stay. The camp spot is pretty level with nice shade trees around you. Ockie the dashhound visited daily and it’s very relaxing watching the horses and geese. To have power and potable water at a farm stay exceptional.
