Walking tracks and great for bird watching and searching for wildlife. Large open area for outdoor activities. Bush kitchen with wood stove available for use. Large picnic table and fire pit for communal use. We offer small group camping or exclusive whole-site booking for Cheriton Bush Camp. No chainsaws to be used on the property. BYO fire wood or we can supply 15kg for $10. Personal fires permitted but above ground fireplaces must be used. We have a small amount for hire for $5.00 each. Generators permitted between the hours of 7am and 9pm only. Pets allowed but need to be on a lead at all times. Unisex flushing toilets with non-potable water. Must bring your own drinking water. We have a Beach Volleyball court, basketball hoop and swing set. Lots to see in the area. Hillview Drive Mountain Bike Trail and Brisbane Valley Rail Trail are a short walk/bike ride from the property. Canoe/Kayak entry point to the Brisbane river off Kholo Road (5km) Our price of $25.00 per site is aimed at two adults and up to three children. Each set up (tent, van or vehicle) is a separate site. Great trip, so easy to get to from Brisbane so perfect for a Friday getaway. Well maintained spot, was greated by the owners and then had complete privacy for the rest of the time. The nearby creek was pretty but not quite deep enough to cool off however there are many rock pools and waterfalls 5mins up the road at cedar creek. Pups had a great time too. Thank you!

A peaceful spot with gorgeous views! The property is beautifully kept and the hosts are friendly and welcoming, but also give you privacy to enjoy your stay. The creek next to the site is so picturesque and great for a wander and cooling dip of your feet - if you want more of a swim, it’s only a short drive up the road to Cedar Creek Falls. We stayed with a small group of friends and all of our dogs, and had such a relaxing time. We will be back! Thank you Clair and Andrew.

Such an amazing spot. My partner and I booked last minute and Chris was extremely accommodating to us. The river that runs through the property is absolutely beautiful so we enjoyed a few swims in here. (Definitely recommend bringing a floatie) There are only a few sites available so we were all spread out and had plenary of space. We will 100% be back. Thanks Chris!

Sites were huge with great access for caravans, toilets were clean with plenty of toilet paper, rubbish & recycling bins provided, access to the river was challenging but overall a great camp site & will definitely return to enjoy this camp site again

What a beautiful part of the world. Thank you Clair and Andrew for openjng it up for us. Clair and Andrew are amazing hosts. There is nothing to worry about, they have thought of everything. Access is easy, the camping spot beautiful. Truely nature lovers, the farm is great to wander through and the opportunity to enjoy a secluded part of Cedar Creek is very special. We took our doggos and they had the time of their lives. Do yourself a favour and let Clair prepare a fresh vegetable box with eggs. All from the farm. Sigh, it was hard to leave. But luckily it so close to Brisbane well just have to come back.

1 night at Cheriton Bush Camp

I've lost count of how many times I've camped here! I travel with Dogs, so this spot is spacious enough that we can relax when we need to, swim & go for trail sniffs if we want to, watch the birds & jets, or shelter from sun/rain as necessary under one of the multiple structures or abundance of trees 🥰🐶 Thanks to the kindness of the hosts (who are also Dog lovers) & the locked gate, we always feel safe here!

Friendly welcome, then left to ourselves. exactly what we were looking for. Nice clean spot between well kept horse paddocks and small creek on nice grass. We were hit by a thunderstorm and hail and were checked via the app if we were alright and invited into shelter if we needed which was a lovely touch.
