Our property is 4WD access. You are risking your booking and vehicle if you turn up in a 2WD or family SUV. See Extras for booking park and ride option if your vehicle is 2WD. UPDATE as of 11 Jan 2025 - creek is flowing, grass is growing. Some of our tracks are rutted and may become slippery in wet weather. We do basic maintenance to keep access open for 4WDS. Be prepared to apply your 4WD skills. Kobble Creek West is accessible from several locations on our property boundary. Ideal for creek exploring and rock hopping. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting. Check out the short hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience! You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk. Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars. All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. You are welcome to enjoy our off-grid camping with the expectation that facilities are minimal. NOTE: Surcharges exist for a number of circumstances, including day visitors and single-night bookings. These can be found in the Extras and must be added at the time of booking for your request to be accepted. NOTE: Please also indicate that you are 4WD and your camping platform and size as you book. The campsite is situated on the beach, sheltered by the sheoaks in the back dunes. At the rear of the campsite lies a freshwater lagoon, locally known as the keyholes. Currently, there are four sites available to be booked. There is a camp kitchen with a two gas burner, all pots and pans, plates and cutlery with table and chairs to sit at. There is also a big esky there to use for either your food or drinks. Fresh water is provided in twenty litre drums. The bush shower works on the keg being heated up just like a kettle. Once it is hot then a nice warm shower is to be had to wash off all the salt from the ocean. There is also two compost toilets for your convenience. A unique feature includes the opportunity for surfing, fishing, and swimming in your private lagoon. A short drive will take you to Point Lookout. 10 minutes and you are at the pub mixing with the locals. Access is via the beach only and tides are a consideration. Please check "Point Lookout tides" on Willy Weather. I don't normally travel on the beach if the tide is over 1.5 metres. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is required. Camper trailers can be brought in as they are light. Caravans are not permitted due to the tight turning circles.

Ground is very solid. It has 2 horses and a friendly dog in the paddock so ensure gate is kept closed at all times. Please drive straight forward towards the dam and camp between the red shed and trailer home. There is a caretaker on site most of the times for more information. There is a portable toilet and shower on site. The house on the property is rented out and has nothing to do with the site. There is filtered water on site. Entry and exit is on the left side of the house so please try keep excessive noise at the gate to a minimum. Entrance is as per photo with red line. We have a great supply of locally sourced firewood, $20 per bag 20kg-25kg and we strongly discourage wood brought on from other areas due to biosecurity concerns. We have firepits at all campsites and adhere to any fire restrictions. We do not supply BBQ’s please bring your own. Please come to our reception building on the way in, as we need to check everybody in, visitors to your camp site need to sign in and pay a day fee. We are then able to answer any questions you may have and further cement our rules. Day visitors to your campsite will incur a $10 per person fee and is time restrictive. STRICTLY NO DRONES ALLOWED ALSO WE DO NOT ALLOW DRIVING AROUND CAMPSITES OR PROPERTY (Safety concerns) Once your camp is set up you can park your vehicle at your site. You are welcome to drive out of the campsite to town and back but strictly no joyriding around our property. Sites 1-3 are large level pads approx. 12M by 12M, each with their own fire pit and log seat. Site 4 is perched on the side of the hill and 6M by 6M in size. Suitable for vehicle based campers/swags/small tents with a sense of adventure and best with max 2 people. We have a backup spot too if access is too difficult. Gumtree Summit and The Gun Range are up a steep and rocky track that require techincal driving skills and a capable vehicle. These sites are very difficult to access in wet weather. You need to know what you are doing. When booking, ensure you reach each site description thoroughly and send us a message answering the vehicle capability questions prior to requesting a booking. Fuzzy miniature galloway cattle freely roam the property here. Close proximity (driving) to the river for a spot of fishing, the bay for an early morning walk or explore with the kids and the local tavern for some adult time. A walk up Wallace road on an evening is quite nice if you are looking to stretch your legs. IMPORTANT: The Ranch is on the corner of beachmere and Wallace road. Access is off Wallace road. After you turn onto Wallace road it’s the first right at the yellow letterbox. Pull through and down to the left. Through the gate next to the container out into the back paddock. Please keep this gate shut. There is a designated area for Hip-Camp. Some areas are sandy and difficult to re-establish so please stick to the firm grass. If you have animals please clean up after them and dogs are to be on lead if they do not recall or like to chase wildlife. As we have wonderful bird life along with lizards and chickens on the property. The fire pit has bricks around it. You can help yourself to any kindling but it’s BYO firewood. Please do not chop logs or collect logs from the property.

It also has a convenient kettle, toaster and BBQ area, the cabin has a queen bed but we can include a mattress for the floor for children, tents and caravans are also welcome in the guest paddocks.
