Only 9 minutes from the bruce highway, situated down a quiet dirt road on the side of the beautiful Maroochy River you will find river rd ranch.
River rd ranch is at heart of the sunshine coast being only a 10 minute drive to Coolum beach and Yandina, 25 to 30 minutes to noosa, mooloolaba, Maroochydore beaches, Sunshine Plaza, bars and restaurants!
Being only 20 minutes to the sunshine coast airport it’s a great opportunity to park up your big or small touring rig to head interstate at short notice if required.
This amazing property has views of mt Coolum and mt Nindery with some of the best sunrise and sunsets around. With easy access to the property we can also cater for larger caravans and big groups of people.
Being on the river there is option for fishing and crabbing, we are only a few hundred meter walk to the Yandina Creek Wetlands walking trails.
Camp Fires are allowed on site. (unless fire bans are in place ) fire wood available 20kg = $20 (cash only sorry due to a few nonpayers)
Pets are welcome but we must respect our Neighbours with horses and other campers so must be friendly retrained at all times.
Please remember pick up after your fury friends as we have other guests here
we have 3 - 4 sites right on the river and another 3 - 4 sites in our paddock with a section allowing our paddock guests to have access to the river to do all activities

The craggy peaks of the Glass House Mountains tower above the surrounding landscape.
They are so significant that they are listed on the Queensland and National Heritage Register as a landscape of national significance.
Walking tracks lead through a variety of open forests to lookouts with panoramic views of the mountains. Some tracks are suitable for all levels of fitness and others include more challenging grades including rock scrambling skills.
There are other challenging summit routes and climbing sites for experienced rockclimbers and abseilers. Or you might want to pull up a hammock and just laze the day away.

Stunning sunrises and sunsets and all within walking distance of Lowood shops along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail which stretches for nearly 1km along the boundary. Situated halfway between Fernvale and Coominya makes this an ideal stop on your BVRT adventure or is ideal for a quick getaway being only an hour or so from Brisbane CBD.

Harper Creek Road and Harper Creek Criss cross one another as you drive through the valley. The ridges either side of the road are largely timbered, whereas the valley floor is productive land. The large property is located towards the end of this no-through-road, almost at the end of the line. While the property has dual access from both Engle Rd at the top camp; Harper Creek Rd, we enter from the valley.
Camping on the top block is also available for 4WD vehicles only and not suited to large caravans.
Campers are required to be self-contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Campfires are welcome in the fire pits with firewood provided or BYO.
The mid-1900’s cottage sits in an idyllic setting, framed by the trees. The cottage is not yet available for Farm stays but will be soon. The location, vegetation and topography provide the privacy, the fauna & birdlife (the Bellbirds) combine to provide the solitude. Harper Creek cuts through the front corner of the property where it is met by a minor creek that drains the high country.
You want more … how about a total of 115 acres (46.42 ha). While it is predominantly well-treed, it does have some cleared camping opportunities. It is watered by the creeks and one dam. There’s a great camping site at the top of the block, with a fantastic view!
The property is off Aherns Rd, close to the village of Conondale and mid-way between Maleny & Kenilworth. With good access to the freeway via either Maleny or Kenilworth.… a perfect bush camping spot in a perfect setting!

Cedarton is a small farm on 100 acres, we have cows, chickens, ducks, goats, sheep and horses. We have wild deer, wallabies and kangaroos that come in the mornings and afternoons. If the kids like to get involved, I can take them around in the morning to feed the animals, we have around 30 head of cattle, calves, 2 horses, 2 goats, one pet sheep, chickens and ducks. We have a cow called Cutie Pie, she loves a cuddle.
Happy to spend time with the kids to show them the jobs we do daily. Parents can join in or sit back and relax. Takes about 1 hour in the morning. If it's school holidays, we build scarecrow's, plant sunflowers or other crops together. Wash rescue horses or any other job on the farm.
Kids love collecting the eggs and cooking them up for their breakfast.
We also have a pool at the farmhouse which campers can use between 9am - 11.30am daily.
If you like hiking there's a couple you can do, one that takes around 30 mins and one that takes 2 hours.
Plenty of space to play cricket, football or ride push bikes. If you like fishing there's creeks nearby as well.
Each camp site will have wood for fires, if you require more you can buy some on site for $20 a bag. Please don't bring wood in because of biosecurity and fire ants.

We are close to Australia Zoo, Big Kart track at Beerwah, Maleny Dairies, Kondalilla falls, Gardener waterfalls, Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve. There's a cheese factory, chocolate factory and wineries in Maleny.
Fantastic restaurants in Montville.
We are also 10 mins from Woodford Folk Festival.
We are off grid only for campers, campervans and caravans we have no amenities at this current time.
How ever if you want a porta loo Dinkem Dunnies are great and deliver porta loos. Roughly costs $250 to hire.
4x4 if towing because of dirt driveway and paddocks.
Pet friendly however we do ask that no pets chase animals.

THE OUTDOOR SPACE
Nestled amidst the bushland is a rustic gazebo for all your cooking and dining needs. Fully equipped with a brand new Weber BBQ, cooking utensils, rustic ice boxes stocked with ice, and a partially surrounding breakfast bar, the area invites you to gather on cushioned stools, creating a warm and communal atmosphere.
The outdoor fire pit, supplied with fire wood and fire starters, overlooks the bushland from the comfort of the contemporary-retro, cushioned outdoor seating.
Immerse yourself in the soothing warmth of the outdoor wood-fired bath. Epsom salts infused with aromatic essential oils are provided, ensuring a truly therapeutic soak.
The private rustic ensuite houses a hot water shower, using rain water collected by tanks, and a chemical toilet, providing an authentic off-grid experience.
Placed beneath the leafy canopy are two comfortable bean bags, creating a relaxing seating area to enjoy a drink or a good book.
Ride and explore the Yandina township, the local brewery, hidden rock pools, walking tracks, or mountain hikes using the two brand new bikes provided. Don’t forget the markets that are on every Saturday!

Everything was wonderful from booking through to our departure. Cass was so lovely and helpful, and my daughter absolutely loved getting up close and personal with the animals. The farm is beautiful and peaceful, and the Red Deer site is easy to get to, well-kept and has plenty of room. I highly recommend it! :)

River Rd Ranch was a great place to stay.
Had the riverside camping, was able to fish and enjoy the river.

Greg , Cassie ,Z & Z .Make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. They have a Ausome piece of paradise to share . The camp sites are spread apart allowing your family to enjoy the open space and look out to the river. Our kids had a great time fishing, kayaking , bike riding. The campsite has a creek running straight through it, perfect for the kids to play in for hours on end.
Cassandra took everyone out to see and feed the animals, along with a complimentary carton of eggs.

I loved the freedom my two dogs had and they also became friends with the owners dog. Played together really well.
The location is fantastic and I loved how close we were to everything Brisbane had to offer.
Will definitely book this again next time we come to town.

We loved our camping experience! We received very clear instructions from the host on how to reach the campsite. The latter is located on a very big land in the forest and off a gravel road. Even though there are several cottages there, every one has their own space and privacy. If you like camping in nature, away from the crowds, this is the place! The sounds of nature at night are intense and the stars and moonlight magical; perfect place to reconnect! Great concept overall and our host Audrey was super friendly, helpful and accommodating! We definitely recommend this place and would return in the future 🙂

Max was determined to make our stay as comfortable as possible. He made sure we had access to power to operate our aircon in the high temperature days.
