I loved staying At Quails Ridge Farm Stay. It was perfect for our two kids as there is a playground, cubby house and pool. So much to do! And we went for a walk. We will definitely be going back!

Karen and Nick are great hosts and went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay during what was very wet weather by offering the use of an indoor shower and toilet in one of the vacant cabins which we greatly appreciated. The property is located in a central location to many of the great walks and views in the region. We would certainly recommend it as an ideal location to camp and explore the region.

Thankyou so much Karen for your warm welcome and your lovely camping spot. We enjoyed being able to have a fire and to have plenty of space. We hiked Mt Ngungun the next day and had a fabulous time away.

A wonderful camp site with wonderful owners! It was the first time ever to camp for some of us and we were little anxy if things would go w well. But the facilities and the owners helped us thoroughly enjoy our first time camping! We would love to come back again, highly recommend!

Absolutely perfect for families, this place was magic ✨ Plenty of shade , loads of privacy and lots of adventures to be had exploring this amazing property. The cows when you drive in are gorgeous. Ryan was lovely and very friendly to deal with and welcoming to his property. Peace and quiet and so beautiful. Excellent stay, very picturesque view of the glass house mountains. Access to pool, showers and excellent running water. Also has fire pits which made it a fun experience Karen is a very helpful host and posted on a possession I left behind 5 Stars

𝐀𝐁𝐒𝐎𝐋𝐔𝐓𝐄 𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐄 & 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 Totally exceptional experience from initial enquiry to actual stay. Ryan & Kellie are amazing, sharing their slice of heaven and providing an abundance of information both before & during our stay! We dragged our 4x4 13ft Hybrid Van into the Red Cedar Camp area (make sure you have a capable van & tow tug if attempting this as parts of the track will require 4x4 capabilities). As we entered the track to our campsite we were totally blown away by the beauty of the forest canopy above us (forgot to take pics) and before us. A few creek crossings (photos don't do them justice) and then WOW, an opening that was our camp site right beside the creek and at the end of the track so no traffic travelling through ❤️ We are officially in love and will be back !!

We spent two nights at the cattlemen’s cabin for a family adventure. Had a fantastic weekend - we loved it here. The kids loved the creeks, riding on the property on their bikes and cooking marshmallows on the fire pit. We hope to return again someday.

Weekend Trip to The Cubby House Archerfalls

As I travelled along Mt Byron Rd I wondered if I’d gone too far but keep driving until you reach the very end and turn left. Be sure not to enter the private property with no trespassing signs on the gate. Once I arrived at my camp and met Ryan, I was taken aback at how private and quiet each camp site is. They have created a truly peaceful camp for everyone to enjoy, I didn’t once hear any other campers who were also staying at the property. The campsites are well shaded, cool and breezy even in the middle of Summer. I was self sufficient but Ryan & Kellie have now built shower and toilet facilities if needed. It was such a beautiful experience to wake in the morning surrounded by curious cows all peering into my tent and after a hike around the property, a swim in the refreshing crystal clear creek was much appreciated. I look forward to returning and exploring more of the surrounding hikes. Thank you Ryan & Kellie 😊

This tiny home was a 10/10 experience. My partner & I went for my birthday & the home was beautiful, fire wood was supplied, marshmallows etc. Such an incredible experience & we would highly recommend & definitely will be returning!!!

2 nights at Turkey's Nest Rainforest Cottages

It was so nice to stay in this cottage. Excellent environment and deep rain forest. The property is built in the middle of deep forest surrounded by big trees and bush. The cottage is the ideal design of old home. Totally refreshing and very cozy. Strongly recommend.

100% recommend. Great location. Pool was a great way to cool off during the day. Karen was super lovely and helpful.

Weekend Trip to Obi Obi Dairy

Our family recently enjoyed a fantastic stay at Diggers Rest in Beerwah, Queensland. Nestled amidst the stunning Glass House Mountains, the off-grid cabin offered breathtaking panoramic views. The cabin itself was comfortable and well-equipped, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the pool. Perfectly maintained and consistently refreshing, it was the ideal place to cool off during the day and enjoy the starry night sky. The hosts, Karen and Tash , were incredibly welcoming and attentive. They went above and beyond, providing extra fans and water to help us stay comfortable during a particularly hot period. We highly recommend Diggers Rest to families and couples seeking a peaceful and relaxing getaway in a beautiful natural setting. The combination of stunning scenery, comfortable accommodations, and exceptional hospitality made our stay truly memorable.

Our rare slice of property only has limited available bookings throughout the year to keep it more exclusive to our guests. Please send a message through if you cannot see a date that suits you, and we can see what we can do. Our 330 acre property backs onto the beautiful D'Aguilar National Park and is still heavily treed with some cleared areas for cattle grazing. The property has many interesting native birds, animals and trees for you to discover. There are many walking tracks both gentle and steep within the property. Approximately 2 hours from Brisbane CBD. Either stay in our popular cabin for those creature comforts, or camp next to our creek bed areas and enjoy the serenity. There is No cellular service around the camping areas to help you unwind!

Quails Ridge Farm Stay

Please note: Off Grid Stay - Yeates Road is the only access to Porfiri Rd and the campsites - NOT Stokes Road or Range Road - Porfiri Road (in places) does not do well after heavy rains! So please advise me of your vehicle type in your booking. - Small low profile tyres, sedans and hatchbacks will struggle - Motor-homes cannot make the drive (regardless of the weather) - AWD and 4x4 no problems. Vehicles with lift will have no problems. Our farm features bush and cleared areas on undulating hills. We are 100% off grid with fresh drinkable borehole water The campsite has lovely green grass, access to the pool and a picnic table, and fire pit. Compost toilet, hot bush shower and rubbish/recycling facilities. We are a small hobby farm with Bee Hives, Dogs, Cats, Chickens (a few roosters) horses, cows and a couple of pet pigs. We are located just 35 mins from Caloundra and 45 from Maroochydore. We are close to Australia Zoo, Ewen Maddock Dam, Maleny and Glasshouse Mountains. Enjoy mountain walks and cycling. Gypsy Cabin

Gypsy cabin is a boutique off grid cabin usually reserved for family and friends now available to hire to the public for couples, small families and campers. The cabin is situated privately on our hobby farm with the company of cows, chickens, dogs and ponies, dogs are permitted upon request. The cabin is cosy and self contained, it is a single bedroom, single bathroom, with walk in shower, toilet and filtered drinking water at the vanity sink. It also has a convenient kettle, toaster and BBQ area, the cabin has a queen bed but we can include a mattress for the floor for children, tents and caravans are also welcome in the guest paddocks. Guests are welcome to feed the chickens, ponies and cows, and collect the eggs from the chicken barn. Enjoy the serenity and silence of the country with a fire in the extra large fire pit!
