Beauty Spot Falls is absolutely beautiful and a definite hidden gem. I've stayed at a lot of places on Hipcamp around this area and Beauty Spot Falls is by far the best that's why we've come at least 4 or 5 times now. When my brother came to visit in September I took him and his girlfriend there and they loved it to. Coming from a city this is a perfect SAFE place to introduce someone to Far North Queensland. The family that owns this property are super friendly and always making improvements to the facilities. Every time I visit there is something that has been improved on ,the toilets the Walking tracks ECT..

The campground was amazing. Super clean and tidy. The walk to the waterfall was absolutely beautiful through the rainforest but make sure to spray mosquito repellent before going as there are a lot but other than that it’s a gorgeous place to go for a private swim with no one around 🙂 Would definitely recommend!

Kingston Road Farm Stay

Camping in a quiet, peaceful rural location with lots of space, at a small private vegetable market garden and hay farm. You can base yourself on our property while making trips to nearby Mossman Gorge, Port Douglas, Daintree National Park, local beaches and other attractions. We currently only have one site so you will have the place to yourself. The creek borders the Tully Falls National Park with many huge Eucalyptus trees and rainforest species, moss laden logs and fungus galore in the wet. Wildlife ranges from birds, frogs, butterflies, gliders and possums. Guests are required to be fully self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. There is no reception for phones etc at the site. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided but please check restrictions before lighting a fire. Platypus are regularly seen in the creek and occasionally tree kangaroos visit the property too. Unless you have a ‘booster ’there is no mobile coverage or internet. {enjoy the peace and solitude} Access to the property is fourteen kilometres gravel, coming off the highway. Sites are private separated from each other. Site is 300 metres from road and provides privacy. Tents and small caravans are ideal. Not suitable for highway caravans or very large vans as the access will be too rough. There are walking areas at rear of property. Be aware tropical North Queensland has paralysis ticks and we have snakes at times and visiting pigs. Water can be supplied upon request. Power generators are permitted . There may be minimal mobile service with Telstra. Campfire will only be permitted within fire pit. All campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace behind. Our 20-acre exotic fruit farm backs onto World heritage rainforest and provides a relaxing base for which to explore the wet tropics south of Cairns. We have a beautiful freshwater swimming hole down the road, and also the Mulgrave River is very close if you want to do some fishing.The camping area is large, grassy and reasonably level, with space closer to the tree line, and space more out in the open. There is a firepit provided, and plenty of firewood around the place for you to help yourself to. We also welcome four-legged family members! We have had recent sightings of cassowary on our property so keep an eye out, you might just see one!We prefer self-contained campers, who have their own amenities, but we do have a toilet and shower up at the main house (about 50 metres away) you are welcome to use if needed. This is an unused bathroom downstairs so you will still have privacy. Access into the property is not suitable for large motorhomes. Entry will be too small for vehicles approx 8.5 metres long and 3.5 metres high.We grow exotic fruit on the property including limes, pomelos, mangosteens and more. When it's in season, you're welcome to sample some! Gordonvale is the nearest town, with a quiet historic charm, just 15 minutes drive away, while Cairns is around 25 minutes.

We have a secluded little spot on the Walsh River, on our 100 acre farm. We welcome self contained campers (caravans, motorhomes, camper trailers, tents etc), however also have accommodation available. There are 2 options - book accommodation (bedroom, kitchen, lounge, air conditioning, tv, bathroom, laundry...) or book camping (use as much of the facilities as you like, apart from bedrooms - including power, wifi, kitchen, bathroom, laundry etc) There is a 5 room donga (range of queen, double and twin (bunks) rooms, as well as a queen+bunks caravan (could sleep a family of 4). There is also a kitchen/lounge donga, with dishwasher, microwave, 75" TV and several fridges. The bathroom donga has 2 showers and 3 toilets. Camping - power and water sites available, or just bush camp! (facilities still available to use) The site is located above the Walsh River - out of flood zone, so the water is generally a short walk away (maybe 100m). The river is very shady and kid friendly. No pets sorry.

This area is ideally situated between Port Douglas, Daintree to the east and Mt Molloy, Mareeba & the Savannah region to the West also close proximity to the Mulligan highway, Cape York Development Road up to the Tip of Cape York and Cooktown. Leave your RV here and go exploring every day from this ideal location. Bird watching at the iconic Mt. Lewis National Park and walking tracks are close by. Hotels and cafes are just a short drive away. NO supermarkets or high rises in this area. Beautiful scenery with flora and fauna. Good secure parking areas on this privately owned land has underground spring potable water to top up your tanks. RV's should ideally be self-contained as there are no powered sites or toilet/shower facilities at this stage. There are only 6 camping spots so book early then you won't be disappointed.

Bring your tent, car, caravan or motor home...... there is plenty of room! Highland Views is located in a sleepy little rural area at the end of a road, so there is no through traffic and quite private. There is an abundance of wild life wandering through from the rainforest to the neighboring cattle property including a huge range of birds, numerous wallaby's, and the occasional cassowary. I do have a resident cow on the property. Stewie is extremely friendly and will come to the fence for a pat and will love you even more if you feed him a slice of bread or a carrot. He has no spacial awareness though, so please don’t enter his paddock….. it is pretty scary having a 600kg “puppy” with very big horns bounding toward you wanting to play! The water is tank/bore which is fine for drinking and I am happy for you to fill your water tanks during your stay but I do ask that you use it sparingly…….. no washing of vehicles or vans please 🙏 With only 2 sites, you will absolutely not be crowded in. There are no toilet or shower facilities available so you will need to be fully self contained. This is the perfect base to explore all that the Daintree, Port Douglas and Atherton Tablelands areas have on offer. Julatten Hotel is a great spot for a cold drink and a lovely meal, with live music on the weekends. 9 Mile Store is 2km from your site and has fuel, some groceries items and takeaway food if you don’t feel like cooking. Mossman is only 18km away for most other supplies and services.

We situated on the Rifle Creek. 1km of the creek boarders the property. You can walk to town for dinner from the property but still feel like your away from everything. 3 lagoons for relaxing, canoeing or reading a book and bird watching as the property has many bird species. Great for bush walking. Small dogs will be considered. It’s is for Wheelchairs on the land as it’s mostly flat. Access to showers or toilet maybe suited
