A beautiful 160 acre paddock that you can enjoy.
Cleared slashed areas beside the river. Enjoy a river swim to cool you down during summer and go for a cold dip during winter. River is also good for fishing during the right season. Access to river is 100 metres on graded walking track.
Unless you have a ‘booster ’there is very limited mobile coverage or internet. {enjoy the peace and solitude}
Access to the property is fourteen kilometres gravel, coming off the highway.
Sites are private separated from each other, some sites suit clothing optional guests
Site is 300 metres from road and provides privacy. Tents and small caravans are ideal. Not suitable for highway caravans or very large vans as the access will be too rough.
There are walking areas at rear of property. Be aware tropical North Queensland has paralysis ticks and we have snakes at times and visiting pigs.

A tranquil 60 acre property with room to relax. Located just off the road, access isn't that great but with care you'll be all ok. Large rigs probably not best, for instance a 30 foot bus towing a 20 foot trailer, well it's going to manage it! But a 23 foot van with a landcruiser, no worries.

Our 20-acre exotic fruit farm backs onto World heritage rainforest and provides a relaxing base for which to explore the wet tropics south of Cairns. This is an unused bathroom downstairs so you will still have privacy. Access into the property is not suitable for large motorhomes. Entry will be too small for vehicles approx 8.5 metres long and 3.5 metres high.We grow exotic fruit on the property including limes, pomelos, mangosteens and more. When it's in season, you're welcome to sample some! Gordonvale is the nearest town, with a quiet historic charm, just 15 minutes drive away, while Cairns is around 25 minutes.

Our farm also offers unique elevated views of the local farming area with a backdrop of The Great Dividing Range, the Coral Sea and Port Douglas. There is also an impressive variety of butterflies and bird life to enjoy.
Hosts are happy to show campers around our market garden that we start cultivating after the wet season and usually continue until December - weather dependant.
Guests will have access to a portable fire place during their stay as well as a BBQ grill and hotplate. Firewood is available for purchase.
We have electricity available from the vacant cottage at $25/night. Must be booked through Extras.
Our 150acre property has spectacular mountain views, as well as views to Port Douglas and the Coral Sea. There are small creeks on the property that attract birdlife and have a variety of freshwater fish and turtles in them. Nearby there are several larger creeks for cooling off, and properties with horses, cattle and sugarcane. We are a 15min drive to Mossman, the closest town, and 45mins south to Port Douglas or north to the Daintree township. You can take a shortcut to the road to Daintree via the WWII Japanese Miallo Bombing Memorial.

Unless you have a ‘booster ’there is very limited mobile coverage or internet. {enjoy the peace and solitude}
Access to the property is fourteen kilometres gravel, coming off the highway.
Sites are private separated from each other, some sites suit clothing optional guests
Site is 300 metres from road and provides privacy. Tents and small caravans are ideal. Not suitable for highway caravans or very large vans as the access will be too rough.
There are walking areas at rear of property. Be aware tropical North Queensland has paralysis ticks and we have snakes at times and visiting pigs.

Our farm also offers unique elevated views of the local farming area with a backdrop of The Great Dividing Range, the Coral Sea and Port Douglas. There is also an impressive variety of butterflies and bird life to enjoy.
Hosts are happy to show campers around our market garden that we start cultivating after the wet season and usually continue until December - weather dependant.
Guests will have access to a portable fire place during their stay as well as a BBQ grill and hotplate. Firewood is available for purchase.
We have electricity available from the vacant cottage at $25/night. Must be booked through Extras.
Our 150acre property has spectacular mountain views, as well as views to Port Douglas and the Coral Sea. There are small creeks on the property that attract birdlife and have a variety of freshwater fish and turtles in them. Nearby there are several larger creeks for cooling off, and properties with horses, cattle and sugarcane. We are a 15min drive to Mossman, the closest town, and 45mins south to Port Douglas or north to the Daintree township. You can take a shortcut to the road to Daintree via the WWII Japanese Miallo Bombing Memorial.

Campsite was great, very remote and a good drive in. We went to the 4wd access only spot with a 4wd & Jayco swift (outback/4wd) - got through ok, it was a fair drive in. One river crossing. The campsite was mowed and cleared for our camp in three different spots, so we could camp either up top or down near river. Both with fire pits. Creek was running and nice and shallow for kids and to sit in. Beautiful quiet, surrounded by bush. Toilet always a bonus with kids!
It was a near perfect camp - except the fruit flies or some sort of little flies that hung around your head in droves and were determined to fly into our eyes. I think maybe they been stirred up by the rain so keen to try camp again in dry season as the cold seem to keep them away. Will take a fly screen hat next time! Other than that, beautiful spot. Thanks for having us.

Beautiful walks around their property, offering many swimming holes. The Pugh Creek runs through the property, with easy access to the creek.
There is a great camp hut next to the main swimming hole...lights, fans, kayaks, noodles, basic kitchen....bloody fantastic place.
Paradise is a definite go to. We are Cairns locals & can't believe it too us so long to find "Paridise Camp". Going back for sure.

The undercover communal lounge/ dining is great for wet weather. The description of the sites can make it sound like you'll be sharing with others, but I felt totally remote (in a good way!). The creek is right by the sites and wonderful to hang out in. I didn't hear road noise at all.

Once again the place was immaculate, the grounds were so neat and tidy and the toilet/shower block was absolutely spotless, Dee is an amazing host and keeps the place perfect
