Then come and land right next to your friends and family at the Oz Sky Ranch. We pride ourselves on keeping the property lovely and clean. We are also opening our home and farm to you. So please respect it and enjoy it as we do. We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate. Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots. We pride our self’s on having a lovely property and want you to have an amazing camping experience. If it is bad weather, we will recommend another site or you can change dates. Campfires are allowed at designated camp spots when fire bans aren't in place. Firewood is available to purchase . We have a no dog policy No smoking is allowed on the property, vaping is fine at your own campsite. No glass Policy, bring cans plastic glasses to drink out off. We do have a lot of rule, they are in place to give you a Beautiful environment to Camp in and To look after our Animals and farm. We accept groups however we have strict rules around this, so please discuss with us first. If you are up early in the morning you may be lucky enough to see the best in QLD barefoot water skiers training on the lake and also tandem hang gliders getting towed up from the airstrip. A central stopover point an easy 15 minutes from Toowoomba city and only a few kilometers off the New England Highway. Great for couples and larger family groups. For those that may not be experienced campers onsite accommodation is also available in the fully renovated homestead for up to 8 guests. Enjoy wide open spaces with magnificent views. Here at 'Waratan Park' in Oakey QLD, we offer a peaceful, animal friendly stay on our 120 acre property, away from the crowds, but close to town, and only a short drive to Toowoomba. We have a large grassed area for your van, very level, with plenty of space. Enjoy views of the animals from your camp chair. All campers must be self contained with their own toilet and shower, can empty grey water ONLY. There is a dump point less than 1km down the road. We have unpowered sites, along with two sites that have access to power and water. Important - We are a working farm, and have 6 farm dogs on site. Whilst we can accept bookings with pets, you MUST run this by us before making a booking. Any visiting pets must be kept on a lead at all times while on the property. Oakey is a small but great country town, approximately 30km west of Toowoomba. Some nearby attractions include an Australian Army Flying Museum, Oakey Historical Museum, and we're a short 20 minute drive up the road from the Jondaryan Woolshed. Local shops include an IGA, Foodworks, RSL, Tavern, 1 pub with great Friday night entertainment (no meals), bakery, cafe, kebab shop, takeaway, hospital and ambulance 24/7, chemists, hairdressers and local mechanics, Toyota dealership and several service stations, all in close proximity. We loved camping in our caravan at Oz Sky Ranch. We had a perfect flat spot on 3A right next to the lake. The view was beautiful. There was a clean portaloo right near our site and a shower/toilet block just like home only a short walk away. It was great to be able to swim in the lake and cool down. We really enjoyed our stay!

I enjoyed my stay at Oz Sky Ranch and will definitely be back..with my Kayak. The camp wasn't busy and was lovely to walk around and explore and scope out other sites.. Great communication with Lisa and a well keep camp and good instructions on arrival. The flush toilets and Showers were nice ..and many porta loos near the spread out campsites..(byo toilet paper).. which is good considering some people over use and waste when supplied. Be prepared to open and close the gates to keep the cattle in their designated areas..and enjoy the antics as they graze in the area. The wildlife encountered was lovely, turtles, Magpies, kookaburras, swallows pelicans , shags, white stork, hawks,and native frogs..and the splash of fish jumping in the dam. The dam was a love spot to cool down..and float around. I really enjoyed my stay.. thankyou.

We had a fantastic experience camping at Savvy Creek Farm (Sunrise site)! Our host, Ben, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The facilities, including the bathroom and the pool, were clean and well-maintained. There were designated areas for campfires, with firewood available for purchase (self-service), or you can collect your own. We also loved getting to interact with the farm animals, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The location is great since it's close to Toowoomba, so if you need anything it’s just a quick trip into town. Overall, a wonderful stay and highly recommended!

Unbelievable ...again! Due to some rain, I was moved to the lake front. Was never down there but it is crazy awesome. I got great photos at night with the lake and the fire. If you want a great camping time, go to Oz Sky Ranch. I have already picked my site for the next trip. Will not tell which one so you don't grab it up!!!!

Had a relaxing few nights stay with my dogs at Coominya Farm Stay. The dogs enjoyed swimming in the dam and host Lynn was lovely to communicate with and even nicer in person. The amenities were spotless. Although I didn’t need to use the camp kitchen, it was a large, well thought out space and very clean. Overall a great value Hipcamp with the access to hot showers, toilets and camp kitchen all included.

My wife and I had a fantastic 2 night stay in our caravan at Savvy Farmstay. Ben and his family were wonderful hosts and so helpful as we were unfamiliar with the local area. Was a relaxing farm to stay at seeing lots of young piglets and lambs in their pens. Small baby chickens roaming around free. Walking the bush trails around the dam and creek were fun.
