Yes: Rocky Creek Homestead is the venue for ""Camping with Goats"! Not only enjoy a quiet and lazy morning with a seasonal creek running along the outlook from your camp site, but you will also love our goats, and they will love you visiting, especially our goat named "Squirt", who thinks he is a dog. You will be camping with them as they roam around your camp site. We have 130 acres to explore and welcome caravans, tents and RVs. Later in the day you can walk or pushbike ride the many trails then perhaps enjoy a swim in one of the swimming holes (weather permitting). On dusk enjoy a wine, beer and some cheese by the campfire while watching the goats with their kids play. Mountain bike the many trails or walk around at sunrise to spot the many birds, wallabies, possums and the occasional koala as we are wildlife habitat. We do have a Portable toilet onsite, however, no showers and campers must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash and under owners' control at all times. We are located 15 minutes from Toowoomba for shopping, dinning and 5 minutes to Withcott hotel or 10 to Murphy's Creek hotel both great country pubs. Children under 4 are free.

Horses/cattle live here so animal droppings are to be expected and cattle may bellow from time to time, it is a working farm after all. Please do not feed the horses or cattle. Pets are welcome but must be kept on leash/restrained at night. Pets must not disturb any of the livestock or native animals in the area. If you a lucky you may even spot platypus, there is abundant birdlife, bandicoots and bettongs if you are a nature lover. Tucked away on a small hobby farm backing directly onto Sheep Station Conservation Park, this is a peaceful, down-to-earth spot for guests who enjoy nature just as it is. You’ll be sharing the property with a handful of characterful residents — four sheep, a friendly alpaca, three silky chickens, two cheeky geese, a very elderly Muscovy duck — plus our three young boys who bring plenty of life and laughter to the place. This is a simple, relaxed farm stay with a rustic feel — a little scruffy around the edges and refreshingly free of bells and whistles. It’s a great place to slow down, enjoy the outlook, and soak up the natural surroundings. Pets are welcome but must be kept on leash at all times due to the animals and surrounding conservation area. Guests must be fully self-contained and bring their own toilet. A fire pit is available for your use, with firewood provided, making it a lovely spot to unwind in the evenings. The Back 200 acres has multiple walking tracks that boast an impressive views, overlooking as far all the Brisbane and Ipswich, plus quite nature of unseen landscape unable to be seen from normal public locations.

Directions and communication were clear. Price was good. Surrounds were beautiful. Fire pits for each site and options on where to camp within each site were good too. It was peaceful. Pretty. Inviting. I would stay here again for sure! The goat curry was so yumm and good help when I made enquiries about my food intolerances. I got to camp in a thunderstorm and the place was even more beautiful the morning after. There was one goat who was very friendly and I enjoyed watching the shaggy cows stand in the creek and the kids chase each other up the banks. This was a very good experience

From the moment I rounded the bend and looked down on the camp-site, I knew I was somewhere special. A large flat grassy space with a ready-made firepit, right beside a creek lined with trees. The hill behind the site means this beautiful spot is secluded, and you have it all to yourself! We saw and heard maybe half a dozen cars drive past the whole time we were there, and the only other sounds were birds and insects, and of course the resident beasts! One of my dogs was not very keen on the horse and cattle visits! But they were inquisitive and friendly, and my other dog got to say hello. The creek was gently babbling and the perfect temperature, with easy access to get cooled off and sit and enjoy the serenity. If you're a self sufficient camper who loves your own space, do not go past this spot! I will be back as soon as I can manage it. 🙂

Very private site all to our selves perfect for tent camping! Road near by but no noise at all. Great fire pit, and beautiful little creek perfect for a dip! A bit exposed so be sure to have your own gazebo etc. Unfortunately we timed our visit with the arrival of a billion flies but otherwise great place to camp!

1 night at Hill Top - South Ripley

I really enjoyed my solo camping at Site 3! It’s a nice private spot with good distance from the next site. The ground is well kept and pretty flat, so setting up a tent was easy. Hardly any cow poo around since the cows are fenced off. Access is easy too — though I’d recommend a 4WD. Only downside is it’s quite open, so it can get windy with nowhere to hide. Overall, I loved it and would definitely give it 5 stars!

We had a great stay at Tony’s place. It’s a beautiful, well-kept spot that’s perfect for a night under the stars. Tony was quick to reply and dealt with some other campers who were playing loud music. The fire pits were a great touch, and the grounds were immaculate. There’s some highway noise, but it’s still a really relaxing place to unwind. My only wish is that well-behaved dogs could be off lead it would have made things a bit easier. Still, a really lovely stay overall.

I stayed at site 3 which is up on a hill and felt very safe and secluded. Beautiful grassy area with lots of trees about, not a building in sight. Heaps of firewood around if you wanted a fire and a fire pit is provided. The track to the site 2 and 3 is a bit steep in one section, access was fairly easy but wouldn’t drive a Corolla to these sites, site 1 has super easy access. Thank you host for providing such a peaceful place to stay and at such a reasonable price
