Nestled on a working bee farm, our well insulated Off-Grid Tiny Home Stay offers a peaceful retreat. Sip a drink on your private deck as bees return to their hives, soak in the rolling countryside, and unwind in a cozy, self-sufficient space. We include ingredients for a hot breaky for the first night of your booking. Firewood is included. The tiny house is incredibly well insulated so doesn't have the usual heat issues.
Our property is 12 acres surrounded by a gum lined creek with no neighbours in sight. We have a number of paddocks for our 2 cows and 1 paddock full of bee hives. The tiny house is in it's own fenced paddock. The fencing is for cattle and is not a dog fence if you are hoping to have your dog off leash. If you are travelling with your horse we have a paddock with water that is suitable. Send us a PM if this is something you are interested in. If you have a larger party, we can accommodate a caravan or other tents. Tidy pets are welcome with their own BYO bed and should be on-leash around the property.
Some things to do within walking distance
- Walk around our access road to the creek crossing on the opposite side of the paddock.
- Check the weir for our platypus.
- You are surrounded by incredible wildlife so be on the lookout for rainbow parrots, king parrots, black, pink and white cockatoos, kookaburras, echidnas, wallabies and yabbies in the creeks.
- Walk across the weir crossing and up the access road hill to the top of the macadamia nut farm and into the Gympie National Park.

Frankie is a cool and comfortable caravan with all the amenities you could ever need to immerse yourself in nature! Its a beautiful property with a private sauna and thermal bath while enjoying the natural views. Suzanne is a warm and caring host, making sure we were well looked after. The property is absolutely beautiful and peaceful so many gorgeous birds and the view of the stars is divine. We stayed in the converted shed which was fantastic (and super clean and tidy!) however great amenities available for campers too! The lovely caretakers Tony and Carole was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. This property would be ideal for a celebration due to the huge shed and stage setup - very cool!

A beautiful unique experience, farm feel with fresh air, paddocks and creek surrounds this place attracts wildlife you miss inthe city from echidnas to tawny frog mouths. Being in the country the nights sky was so much brighter too.

I found this hidden gem very last minute and it definitely did not dissapoint. Great location and the lodge had the majority of things required for an enjoyable stay.
My only suggestion for improvement would be:
- Signage on the gate to the property as it wasn't clear what gate we had to enter the property through.
- Mattress protectors on all beds
Overall my family and I had a great stay and we can't wait to come back! :)
