Recently rebranded the name to Charleys Creek Campgrounds as it is more fitting, as there is no clover, not much of a hill, and not in America (Ranch). This will also tie in with our other entities - Charleys Creek Beef and Charleys Creek Brewing. We have a number of projects on the go and planned for the Charleys Creek entities to make every stay a unique and authentic experience. "Not just a campgrounds, its the experience". You are welcome to visit us, get to know us, and be part of our journey. This campground offers toilets, showers, access to potable water, and power hook ups. Open fire pits, and fire wood available. It is a dog friendly property. The story of Clover Hill Ranch- In 2019 our livestock enterprise was struggling with the ongoing drought. Water was getting very low and we were buying hay from Victoria. One day while checking stock on our grazing property Bradys (adjacent to Clover Hill Ranch) we looked across the near dry creek and said to each other - if we are going to endure this drought we need to do something different. So we were able to acquire Clover Hill Ranch which was then being run by the CMCA under a lease agreement to the then owners. Then Covid struck and the CMCA left Clover Hill Ranch. So we took it on ourselves and it has been a journey managing our four farming blocks Riverleigh; Coleridge; The Shanti and Bradys as well as Clover Hill Ranch. Fast forward and it is now April 2021 we absolutely love it; enjoy chatting with Campers about our story and we have even organised a Farm Tour route through all of our properties. The feedback has been amazing. We are continuously doing improvements to Clover Hill Ranch with many new Powered Sites with town water and new campsites right on the creek. And everyone loves it when we bring out our trailer mounted meat smoker to put on a smoked Wagyu feast! Campers can purchase our Wagyu and Grassfed Angus beef to try while camping and can even buy some to take home. Activities available at Charleys Creek Campgrounds, Chinchilla: include camping; fishing; kayaking; motorbike riding; bird watching and bush walking. There is accessibility for RVs, camper trailers, caravans and big rigs. Pull through bays available. Camping in tents is allowed. Weekend Trip to LeJackz!!!

What a beautiful spot! Quiet, green, hills for walking and tiring out the puppies 🤭. We were lucky to snag this camp to ourselves for a weekend! The owners have setup a little off grid kitchen and bathroom which added something we don’t get very often in the bush. Their beautiful mareemas camped up with us while we were there too! We had booked the “old fig tree spot” but found “oak tree” to be a bit flatter and shaded. Picnic table, chairs and table at both sites. Thank you for a great camp!

Absolutely beautiful stay, the family were so kind and helpful. As a single mum I was made to feel safe, offered help, they had my kids tour the farm and feed animals. It is such a gorgeous spot and gave me a lovely wind down before the school term. The locals are super friendly and the sunsets and starscapes are spectacular. Definitely be back again!

We had the best stay at Mandy & Al’s Property. A working farm and so peaceful and tranquil with lots of space. The Amenities are fantastic and the hosts were legends. We loved the farm tours and there is so much to see and do in the surrounding areas. Our first time visiting the Bunya Mountains region and thoroughly impressed and will definitely be back. Was the perfect getaway from the city and a little slice of farm life to keep the kids active and off the iPad on school holidays. So much fun.

Quiet spot with great hospitality. Shower and toilet is functional, clean and stocked so you don't need to bring the extras. Take advantage of the camp kitchen to do the washing up. Would definitely return. The Fig Tree provided plenty of shade.

1 night at Waverley Historical Homestead

Fab stay @ Waverley Homestead, would highly recommend. We were lucky enough to have the entire place to ourselves, which made it very special - so quiet, and with stunning views over the paddocks, looking towards the distant mountains. Great for individual campers who like company, but would also be perfect for a small group of friends, as the campfire in the middle makes it great for socializing. Really enjoyed the company of Mikey - resident dog - who is such a sweetheart and hung with us until Gav came home to reclaim him. Gav is lovely - popped down to make sure we had all we needed, and we had a good chat, then he left us to enjoy the solitude. Awesome sunset, and although it was a super hot day, it gradually cooled down and we were able to have a wee campfire, which was magical. Stars were spectacular throughout the night and birdlife lovely to watch in the trees. Plenty of shade for us in our van and flat ground to park up on. 9 nights at Charleys Creek Campgrounds

251109 - Being fully self-contained we chose a 'non-powered site' adjacent to the creek located away from all the powered sites to which there appeared to be plenty. Privacy is guaranteed with very easy level access for large rigs (we have a 24foot van plus a LC200) and we still had heaps of room to spare. Whilst we could only 'just' see our neighbours through all the trees of this well maintained property, in the far distance, we could not hear a thing. There are some amazing and very clean amenities. Great showers, toilets and laundry with a great family owned and operated private distillery on the property up at big shed that also accommodates saturday night entertainment and a cookout, worth the visit. Located not far from the centre of the Chinchilla township that is fully serviced with all the essential 'go to's for grocery, hardware, pubs etc etc you would not be short of finding what you are looking for. Don't forget to visit the Large Watermellon' slice so you can take your photo. It's a must do. Enjoy, have fun.

Weekend Trip to Bunya Red Farm

Mandy and Alan were very welcoming. They greeted us on arrival, gave us the lay of the land and the rundown on the amenities. About 4ish, Alan came dosn and rounded up the 4 kids and whisked them off into the next yard to feed the alpacas. Unfortunately we got rained out and couldn't stay the planned two nights, but the kids had a ball mucking about in the rain and chasing the frogs about. The amenities are fantastic - best campground shower I've ever had. The kitchen area is well-configured and we found anything we hsd forgotten to pack was probably in there. I'm definitely keen to stay again, hopefully during some cooler and more predictable weather.

Peace, Serenity, Cows, Stars and a lovely friendly host. This is what you can expect when staying here at Bunya Mountain View. We had a lovely stay here and took our caravan up to the top of the hill. Directions were easy to follow and Chris was just awesome to deal with.

1 night at Bunya Red Farm

Bunya Red Farm was really fantastic! The caper farm tour was very interesting (and delicious) and feeding the alpacas was a highlight. The grounds were so picturesque with farmland views in all directions. We loved the star-filled night sky and serenity of the place. Mandy and Allen were incredible hosts. Would recommend a stay in a heartbeat.

Weekend Trip to Waverley Historical Homestead

Thanks to Gav and Andria for a lovely stay at there property. It’s a very peaceful and quiet stay but not far from the mountains if you like hiking or into town for some shopping. Will be back in the future.
