It's truly a very private and relaxing spot to chill out and enjoy camping for a few days or whatever suits your needs while passing the area. Plenty of fantastic swimming holes nearby including Josephine falls and Babinda boulders very popular spots for tourist and the locals.
Site 1 right down on the creek large grass flat space big enough for two families to set up camp. The creek runs around the outside so there are a number of viewing points to see the wildlife mentioned above. A set of solar lights hang over the firepit area allowing for more light while cooking on our wonderful swinging hotplate BBQ.
Site 2 Our newer spot work in progress not so ideal for camper trailers. your situated under our tree line away from the main creek. A smaller paver firepit, plenty fine for sitting around an open fire while watching the stars at night.
Swimming in the creek is not recommended.
So please check by internal message before confirming your booking that way we can confirm a spot while discussing your needs to ensure you have a clear view of your camping area.
Onsite we have our shared outhouse porta toilet which is positioned in the middle of both camping areas for everyone's convenience.

Flaggy Creek Caravan Camp is situated within a 260 acre rural property set aside for wildlife aiming to offer a peaceful and relaxing place to escape the daily grind. Please read this description to the end to make sure our campsites are right for you (click show more).
Our Hipcamp, (owners on site), is small scale to minimise environmental impact with six sites spaced well apart for privacy with each site catering for up to two adult guests only (18+) and one vehicle. (No pets because of wildlife). Solo travelers are encouraged to book, many who have commented how much they enjoyed staying, not feeling overwhelmed by large groups or too isolated.
If you are booking for others please let them know they will need to set up at their booked site. Please do not invite additional guests to enter the property.
You will need to be fully self-contained: own toilet, drinking water, shower.
Our Hipcamp is situated in a cool climate, away from the humidity of the coast. A highlight is beautiful permanent Flaggy Creek which meanders its way through the property for approximately 1 km and is habitat to platypus, turtles and an abundance of bird life (we are close to an ebird hotspot) with towering blue and rose gums. Take a dip on a hot day in one of several water holes including a large lagoon adjacent a mini waterfall surrounded by beautiful she-oaks. There are walks on mowed tracks around the property (look for large eastern grey kangaroos in the top paddock) including along a dam wall where you might spot herons or rainbow bee eaters (seasonally) and we can give you directions to a fire-trail to hike up to the Bluff. Herberton (10 mins) also has many excellent walking trails.
All camp sites have their own fire pit (local conditions and/or state fire ban season permitting). We sell large crates of split firewood for $20 or you can collect your own. Please do not bring firewood for biosecurity reasons.
During the wet season (December-April) we recommend 4WD to access the property as there is a concrete causeway creek crossing and on rare occasions this can become impassable with an extreme amount of rain but does go down very quickly once rain has eased. Please take care and go slowly on unsealed roads.

A vending machine for that late afternoon or evening snack, immaculately clean bathrooms and a camp kitchen with shared facilities for those campers who like to do their own thing.
Our Food & Beverage van is now open and offers a variety of food choices. Open daily from 12pm to 8.00pm (season dependent) we invite our guests and locals to come and enjoy our beautiful park setting.

This is an unused bathroom downstairs so you will still have privacy. Access into the property is not suitable for large motorhomes. Entry will be too small for vehicles approx 8.5 metres long and 3.5 metres high.We grow exotic fruit on the property including limes, pomelos, mangosteens and more. When it's in season, you're welcome to sample some! Gordonvale is the nearest town, with a quiet historic charm, just 15 minutes drive away, while Cairns is around 25 minutes.

It's truly a very private and relaxing spot to chill out and enjoy camping for a few days or whatever suits your needs while passing the area. Plenty of fantastic swimming holes nearby including Josephine falls and Babinda boulders very popular spots for tourist and the locals.
Site 1 right down on the creek large grass flat space big enough for two families to set up camp. The creek runs around the outside so there are a number of viewing points to see the wildlife mentioned above. A set of solar lights hang over the firepit area allowing for more light while cooking on our wonderful swinging hotplate BBQ.
Site 2 Our newer spot work in progress not so ideal for camper trailers. your situated under our tree line away from the main creek. A smaller paver firepit, plenty fine for sitting around an open fire while watching the stars at night.
Swimming in the creek is not recommended.
So please check by internal message before confirming your booking that way we can confirm a spot while discussing your needs to ensure you have a clear view of your camping area.
Onsite we have our shared outhouse porta toilet which is positioned in the middle of both camping areas for everyone's convenience.

Flaggy Creek Caravan Camp is situated within a 260 acre rural property set aside for wildlife aiming to offer a peaceful and relaxing place to escape the daily grind. Please read this description to the end to make sure our campsites are right for you (click show more).
Our Hipcamp, (owners on site), is small scale to minimise environmental impact with six sites spaced well apart for privacy with each site catering for up to two adult guests only (18+) and one vehicle. (No pets because of wildlife). Solo travelers are encouraged to book, many who have commented how much they enjoyed staying, not feeling overwhelmed by large groups or too isolated.
If you are booking for others please let them know they will need to set up at their booked site. Please do not invite additional guests to enter the property.
You will need to be fully self-contained: own toilet, drinking water, shower.
Our Hipcamp is situated in a cool climate, away from the humidity of the coast. A highlight is beautiful permanent Flaggy Creek which meanders its way through the property for approximately 1 km and is habitat to platypus, turtles and an abundance of bird life (we are close to an ebird hotspot) with towering blue and rose gums. Take a dip on a hot day in one of several water holes including a large lagoon adjacent a mini waterfall surrounded by beautiful she-oaks. There are walks on mowed tracks around the property (look for large eastern grey kangaroos in the top paddock) including along a dam wall where you might spot herons or rainbow bee eaters (seasonally) and we can give you directions to a fire-trail to hike up to the Bluff. Herberton (10 mins) also has many excellent walking trails.
All camp sites have their own fire pit (local conditions and/or state fire ban season permitting). We sell large crates of split firewood for $20 or you can collect your own. Please do not bring firewood for biosecurity reasons.
During the wet season (December-April) we recommend 4WD to access the property as there is a concrete causeway creek crossing and on rare occasions this can become impassable with an extreme amount of rain but does go down very quickly once rain has eased. Please take care and go slowly on unsealed roads.

A vending machine for that late afternoon or evening snack, immaculately clean bathrooms and a camp kitchen with shared facilities for those campers who like to do their own thing.
Our Food & Beverage van is now open and offers a variety of food choices. Open daily from 12pm to 8.00pm (season dependent) we invite our guests and locals to come and enjoy our beautiful park setting.

This is an unused bathroom downstairs so you will still have privacy. Access into the property is not suitable for large motorhomes. Entry will be too small for vehicles approx 8.5 metres long and 3.5 metres high.We grow exotic fruit on the property including limes, pomelos, mangosteens and more. When it's in season, you're welcome to sample some! Gordonvale is the nearest town, with a quiet historic charm, just 15 minutes drive away, while Cairns is around 25 minutes.

Weekend Trip to 3 Bares Retreat

We loved our stay at Tully Mountain View’s- sadly the weather was not on our side and we had to cut our stay short. The location of Dam site one was beautiful- private, clean, and a gorgeous outlook over the dam. We got a little break in the weather and enjoyed the fire pit on the edge of the Dam. Sheree was a lovely host and we look forward to staying again at the lovely campsite

Loved this hidden little gem. Beautiful drive into the property through the forrest. Suitable for my 2wd. plenty of water in the creek due to the wet season. The little waterfall was absolutely stunning and made for a great spot to cool off. Tim the host was very friendly and made me feel very welcome and safe as a solo camper. Came for 1 night, left feeling like I stayed for 3! Will definitely be back.

We had an amazing stay over the weekend. Such a beautiful spot. Kristy and her family were so lovely and welcoming. The animal feeding was a huge hit with the kids and we enjoyed learning so much from Kristy! Will definitely be back ☺️

FNQ Blooms is an absolutely incredible location. The creek is pristine and clear, right next to the camp site. The waterfall a short walk away is simply spectacular. I simply cannot recommend the camp highly enough.

Wonderful large camping areas. Fantastic host, (Dee) extremely informative. Clean & tidy amenities (100%).
Beautiful walks around their property, offering many swimming holes. The Pugh Creek runs through the property, with easy access to the creek.
There is a great camp hut next to the main swimming hole...lights, fans, kayaks, noodles, basic kitchen....bloody fantastic place.
Paradise is a definite go to. We are Cairns locals & can't believe it too us so long to find "Paridise Camp". Going back for sure.

Amazing access to fresh water creek. It was simply stunning sitting in the water and just taking nature in. Clean showers and toilets and big campsites are well maintained. Loved our stay there!

We had a great time at Deans property. The area & amenities were really clean and the campsites are right in the nature. Both Dean and his brother Chris were super friendly and helped us with everything we needed. We can also recommend visiting Hartley’s Crocodile Adventure, as ist is right next door. Overall we really enjoyed our time here and would happily visit again!

We stayed on the powered site which was right next to the toilet and shower. Sheree was so friendly and welcoming, and directed us to a lovely work around her land, its a beautiful location and the cows and horses were a bonus!
