Take a guided tour to meet and get up close to some of the unique friendly farm animals. We have Alpacas, Llamas, Camels and Donkeys just to name a few. We have a working farm full of animals to enjoy, for the kids to pat and interact with. Jump aboard the 4pm little train to feed the animals. Relaxing by the creek, or take in the great views from the top of the hill, each site has many things to offer. This will be the holiday the kids will want to come back to. Just 17km to the nearest supermarkets, 11 km to fuel and bottleshop for last minute supplies. Amenities include: Flushing Portable toilets just a short walk from your camp. Hot shower in the Outdoor Bush Shower. Attractions close by. * Gympie's Historical Steam train " The Mary Valley Rattler" does trips on Wednesday, Saturday and Sundays. * Historical Theebine Hotel is just 22km away and does a great meal. * Dickabram Bridge is 25km away. It is the oldest remaining large steel truss bridge constructed in Queensland. Or just take a quiet stroll observing the sights and sounds of the natural wildlife. I purchased the farm in 2015 with my children to build a dream, a lifestyle I'm passionate about, one I could share with my family. THE OUTDOOR SPACE Nestled amidst the bushland is a rustic gazebo for all your cooking and dining needs. Fully equipped with a brand new Weber BBQ, cooking utensils, rustic ice boxes stocked with ice, and a partially surrounding breakfast bar, the area invites you to gather on cushioned stools, creating a warm and communal atmosphere. The outdoor fire pit, supplied with fire wood and fire starters, overlooks the bushland from the comfort of the contemporary-retro, cushioned outdoor seating. Immerse yourself in the soothing warmth of the outdoor wood-fired bath. Epsom salts infused with aromatic essential oils are provided, ensuring a truly therapeutic soak. The private rustic ensuite houses a hot water shower, using rain water collected by tanks, and a chemical toilet, providing an authentic off-grid experience. Placed beneath the leafy canopy are two comfortable bean bags, creating a relaxing seating area to enjoy a drink or a good book. Featuring 60 acres of lush rainforest, soft grass, a running creek and lots of wildlife, we are working towards our important vision of regeneration, natural building and traditional organic farming. Booloumba Creek runs along the boundary and has crystal clear waters with a magical rainbow of coloured rocks in the creek. The property is literally at the end of the road, surrounded by the national park and rainforest, which is normally only accessible by 4WD, camping at our property gives you access to a beautiful park and walks which may otherwise be inaccessible. We have 4 sites but only accept one booking at a time perfect for just one tent and a private getaway or for groups of families and friends. Message to discuss any special group needs including catering or how to book a group into multiple sites. If you want to just arrive and immediately relax, in addition to the tents already set up we can also provide a Welcome meal for groups of 6 or more or a breakfast/dinner package. Please message for details and availability. We are a 10 minute drive from the township of Kenilworth where you’ll be able to pick up supplies for your holiday. The town is noted for its bakery with donuts, the Kenilworth Dairy and has a growing market on Saturday mornings. The famous Eumundi Markets are 45 minutes away and open on Wednesday and Saturdays. We love celebrating food and a healthy life, and inviting people to enjoy our space is one step, with the vision for the accommodation to support events and education based around food, plant medicine, natural building and celebrating connections with friends, family and nature.
