It's an easy 9 minute drive to Pottsville Beach and we offer a flat patch of grassed land next to a dam with a maximum of 4 separate occupants (so it will never be crazy and over crowded like a caravan park). The perfect spot to spread out and relax, have a camp fire, look at the trees and explore the wonders Northern Rivers has to offer. These include beautiful beach's, walks, hikes, the Tweed Valley Rail Trail and Uki Mountain bike park all close by. Only 7 minute drive into Pottsville town which has an IGA, great cafes and restaurants, bottle shop and a few specially stores. 30min drive to either the Gold Coast or Byron Bay. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all rubbish and waste with them on departure.

There is also a big esky there to use for either your food or drinks. Fresh water is provided in twenty litre drums. The bush shower works on the keg being heated up just like a kettle. Once it is hot then a nice warm shower is to be had to wash off all the salt from the ocean. There is also two compost toilets for your convenience. A unique feature includes the opportunity for surfing, fishing, and swimming in your private lagoon. A short drive will take you to Point Lookout. 10 minutes and you are at the pub mixing with the locals. Access is via the beach only and tides are a consideration. Please check "Point Lookout tides" on Willy Weather. I don't normally travel on the beach if the tide is over 1.5 metres. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is required. Camper trailers can be brought in as they are light. Caravans are not permitted due to the tight turning circles.

Welcome to She-oak Hideaway, located in Maryvale by the riverside. The riverside is a peaceful place with two large camping areas and firepits. There are 2 large waterholes suitable for swimming, fishing and kayaking. Down by the riverside you will see Water dragons, turtles, ducks, swamp hens, many birds, occasional Wallabies and Koala. Most afternoons the local Rikali (Australias Otter) can be seen diving for Yabbies. We are an 11 minute drive to the very popular Main range national Park which has some beautiful hiking trails and is the perfect place for a picnic. We have a great country pub close by as well which is a short walk down a country lane. Pets are welcome but please ensure they are under your control and that you clean up after them. Campers must be self sufficient with their own toilet. Rubbish bins are provided for campers and a treated rain water tap is available. Kayaks and life jackets are available on request. 1 - 10 Amp power connection is also available on request. Firewood can be purchased for $15 a bag or $20 for a wheelbarrow full. Our Campsite is located at the heart of the property, next to our carpark and opposite our all purpose communal pavilion and fire pit. On the other side of our 6 car parking area is a newly built flush toilet cabin with an outdoor hot/cold rain shower out the back, semi - screened for privacy - designed for the nature lover to catch the morning sun in the shower. Soak up the healing power of Wollumbin, breathe in the forest air, and enjoy the simple joy of good friends and good times. Ecoasis is consciously designed for lovers, individuals, and small groups to rest, reflect, and reconnect. Just off the highway at Pottsville. Nice grassy level site. Hosts were great and friendly. Lovely creek running through. A short drive to the beach and shops. Location was great for what we wanted. Would highly recommend.

It was such a lovely experience. Paul was absolutely lovely and so accommodating of us. The place itself is beyond beautiful, we laid down for hours and watched shooting stars which was an incredible experience. The dogs loved swimming in the creek. Only downside was the closeness of both campsites but it is nothing that can be helped and was easily avoided with a car inbetween for privacy. Would love to come back and would always recommend to friends in the future. Affordable and beautiful

A lovely spot down by the creek. We booked both sites for privacy. Paul is a lovely and helpful host. You can hear the road noise (not super loud) and activity from neighbours sometimes, and you do see the host around occasionally so it's not total seclusion, but regardless it was a great spot to unwind. There is a lot of wildlife, especially birds and the dogs loved being off-leash and exploring the creek.
