Welcome to Jugari Riverside Camp for relaxation and excitement. 20 acres riverside is very natural, beautiful view of Mt. Barney. Campsites are mowed and well maintained. Full of wildlife and activities.
Very private and away from everyone but close to cafe and pub. You could have 20 acres all for yourself or at least a couple of private acres while camping. Four wheel drive are recommended.
All campsites are grassy, shaded. Easy access to the river. Camping, fishing, kayaking, swimming, drifting, bush walking, biking, lots of activities. Shed Cafe is down the road, Rathdowney pub is 10mins. Maroon Dam 15 mins away.
Children friendly, family friendly. Birds, Wallabies, Wood ducks lots of native animals. Lots of fun!

Boat launch locations are available for campers at designated areas within the campsite and to comply with our SEQ Water licence:
* No parking within 20 metres of the water.
* Vehicles must stay on the designated road and cannot drive down to the boat ramp.
* After launching, vehicles and trailers must be parked back up the hill within the Pointro boundary.
* Marquees and similar structures must be at least 6 metres from the water’s edge.
* Boats may be moored during the day but must be removed overnight.
Breaches may result in fines from SEQ Water, which will be passed on to the responsible party.

There is never a shortage of things to do, you can take a canoe or boat out for a cruise on the lake or try your luck at some fishing. Moogerah is well known for its large Bass & Yellow belly. There is a good bushwalk at the property that takes you out to Striker point and into the gorge waterfall with spectacular views along the way. If you have a 4wd you can take a short drive up to Spicers Gap National Park. Here there is a short walk out to the Governors Chair lookout with spectacular views of the Fassifern Valley and beyond.
We currently don't have a boat ramp however once you have launched your boat at the public boat ramp we have a nice bay in front of the campground where you can anchor your boat.

The western view from site 7 is gorgeous. The privacy is brilliant, cannot see or hear other sites. The owners Ashley and Belinda are friendly and put a lot of effort into maintaining this beautiful property. Suits anyone who would rather feel like they are away from others and doesn't mind a short walk or drive to amenities. The amenities are very clean and comfortable and the outdoor shower is a stroke of genius. Would recommend 100%. Cannot wait to go back

We stayed on the Lake View site. Thought it looked like the closest site to the lake - but 'Iron Bark' was just a smidge closer. Will stay on that one next time - but Lake View was great too. Obviously the site is above the Lake, so it is on a decline - but we were able to make it work and find the best spots for beds/cookers pretty easily.
The big tree on Lake View is dripping some serious amounts of sap so beware of that - and there are quite a few ants around the site too, but they didn't bite or cause any issue - and we had mesh flooring so all good there. Excellent 4G coverage for Telstra on the site - Optus and Vodafone basically had 0 reception as per usual.
The toilets and showers were really close by, and so clean and well equipped. Water was hot. Rubber mats provided for showers. Nice toilet paper in the toilets, not the bulk 1/2 ply stuff in public toilets.
Host had great communication before the trip and on arrival. Stunning property, very well kept, launching kayaks off the lake was a breeze. Caught fish. Saw a stunning amount of wildlife. Saw one possum but it didn't bother our food stores at all.
We will definitely be recommending this spot to others, and will come back again!

The place we originally planned to stay at was closed, so we came here at the last minute.
They treated us very kindly and were able to accommodate us with a same-day reservation.
She was truly kind and helpful.
The toilet and shower rooms were clean and well maintained, and at night we could enjoy a campfire while looking up at a sky full of stars.
We were very satisfied with our stay and truly grateful.

Can walk the whole day if you wanted too property is huge.
Plus has the good stuff like a hot shower etc which is always a win🙌
It got really hot, as it does in summer and there was a nice amount of shade, except for mid day but we got out on the trails!!
Hosts are awesome, very quick and easy to communicate with.
I have had this on my list for a while, and it exceeded every expectation.
