Loved the campsite, was lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves. The owners were super lovely and friendly. The scenery is incredible, you’re able to watch the sunset over the ranges right infront of the site. 10/10 would recommend!

Absolutely recommend even though we had terrible weather and had to cut our trip short it was an absolutely amazing location and perfect balance of nature and creature comfort will be returning very soon!

Our original campsite was unavailable due to construction works however our Hosts Mike and Laura couldn’t have been more accommodating. They resolved the issue within minutes and moved us to the Grass Trees campsite. All we can say is wow! The views from this site are amazing. The great amenities and very well kept- top class. We highly recommend this campsite and definitely be back (maybe we will even book a teepee) 🏕️🩷

Weekend Trip to BB Inland Rail Trail - Boyne Valley

What an absolutely lovely place to camp. There are lovely clean composting loos if you don’t have your own. Lovely caretakers who keep them in top notch condition. Many trees have been planted and while small for now (literally planted only a few weeks ago), as they grow there will lots of opportunities for shade. We camped in 4x4s roof top tents, and two in ground tents with a giant dog. The area is rolling hills but we found a beautiful level spot with views all around. A great spot for those passing through either by road vehicle, or those on the rail trail by foot, pedal or hoof power.

3 nights at Collie Farm

Arrived in the afternoon around 2.30pm. The directions were perfect and signage spot on. We were greeted by Gary who directed us to our site. Awe struck! Huge grassy well kept area, tree lined spot with a massive cement slab to park the van on. The slab is complimented by a huge well built fire pit. The icing on the cake was a dam easily accessible for a few photos and for the dog to have a swim. Here the peace and tranquility started for our three night stay.

2 nights at 1770 Eco Camp, Agnes Water

Ended up staying an extra night because it was so relaxing. Everything is very well looked after and so clean. Friendly staff and just over all a really nice place to relax

We stayed at the big slab site on Collie Fram and had a absolutely peaceful stay , both Gary and Christina couldn’t do enough for us with the 2 Collies greeting us on arrival , Gary dropped off some fire wood in the afternoon and we were pretty much on our own for the rest of the stay We would highly recommend Collie Farm and will be returning in the near future.

1770 ecocamp was a beautiful.peaceful place to camp. Close to everything but when you enter the camp site you feel a million miles away from the hussle & bussle. Staff were great, and the camp kitchen had everything you need. Can't wait to visit again

We recently camped here for a few days for work. It’s a beautiful place, nestled in spectacular bush land. It really was a relaxing, peaceful spot. Sites were a great size, with plenty of privacy due to the abundance of trees. Also many great sites to choose from. Ours also had a gas bbq on site. Very friendly, accommodating staff. Good, clean, functional amenities, and good sized, well appointed kitchen/games/common area topped it all off. Thanks so much!!

Casuarina Park is a 640 acre working property situated 10.3km off the Bruce Highway in Central Queensland between Gladstone and Rockhampton. Camping is a self-sufficient affair with 2 long drop toilets. For small groups of campers we have available a hot shower and septic toilets.There is an abundance of wildlife to be seen as well as a 7km walking/bicycle track available to stretch out weary muscles. For fishing/crabbing enthusiasts it is a 15km 4 wheel drive access to Sandfly boat ramp for fishing and crabbing or 26km for a 2 wheel drive and larger boat to Ramsey's boat ramp located at The Narrows. Excellent fishing!Campfires are permitted with wood included (when restrictions aren't in place). Dogs allowed and must be on leash at all times.SPECIAL EVENTS: During the weekends only of QLD school holidays, we are open for motorbike trail rides. You need to have an MQ license and be part of a motorcycle club (we have our insurance with Motorcycling Queensland). If unsure please ask. This means things are a bit noisier on the weekends of school holidays. :)

We are a short 2 minute drive to the new Agnes Central shopping center, 5 minutes to Agnes Water town centre and local beaches, and a 15 minute drive to the beautiful town of 1770. Our property runs on rain water and On-tap drinking water is available in the camp kitchen. If you are looking to escape from the crowded caravan parks, you will love our piece of paradise.

The Safe Haven can accommodate up to 4 caravans/campers with a communal central fireplace by the water. A seasonal summer stream normally runs through the length of the property from January to May. During this time access to some of the walking trails can be restricted. All sites can be left unattended and secure by visitors for day trips to surrounding areas such as Agnes Water, Seventeen Seventy, the Boyne Valley or various National Parks located within 50klms. This property covers those campsites in or adjacent to the Boyne Valley. The corridor is an inland link between Gladstone and Gayndah, which has great natural scenery, wildlife and historical structures with small country towns spread along its length.
