Our 20-acre exotic fruit farm backs onto World heritage rainforest and provides a relaxing base for which to explore the wet tropics south of Cairns. We have a beautiful freshwater swimming hole down the road, and also the Mulgrave River is very close if you want to do some fishing.The camping area is large, grassy and reasonably level, with space closer to the tree line, and space more out in the open. There is a firepit provided, and plenty of firewood around the place for you to help yourself to. We also welcome four-legged family members! We have had recent sightings of cassowary on our property so keep an eye out, you might just see one!We prefer self-contained campers, who have their own amenities, but we do have a toilet and shower up at the main house (about 50 metres away) you are welcome to use if needed. This is an unused bathroom downstairs so you will still have privacy. Access into the property is not suitable for large motorhomes. Entry will be too small for vehicles approx 8.5 metres long and 3.5 metres high.We grow exotic fruit on the property including limes, pomelos, mangosteens and more. When it's in season, you're welcome to sample some! Gordonvale is the nearest town, with a quiet historic charm, just 15 minutes drive away, while Cairns is around 25 minutes.

We your hosts, (Nancy and Shane) operate the adjoining Garden Centre and Raw Materials yard so there is always something happening and with vast local knowledge of what to do and where to go, we are only happy to help.
Opened in September 2024 we have planted a tropical fruit forest plantation as well as citrus orchard and with our 50 beautiful free-range chooks (pets) you will have them wandering around freely, clucking away happily.

There is NO access to our property from Kuranda end! Visitors need to go through Mareeba
A beautiful 160 acre paddock that you can enjoy.
Cleared slashed areas beside the river. Enjoy a river swim to cool you down during summer and go for a cold dip during winter. River is also good for fishing during the right season. Access to river is 100 metres on graded walking track.
Unless you have a ‘booster ’there is very limited mobile coverage or internet. {enjoy the peace and solitude}
Access to the property is fourteen kilometres gravel, coming off the highway.
Sites are private separated from each other, some sites suit clothing optional guests
Site is 300 metres from road and provides privacy. Tents and small caravans are ideal. Not suitable for highway caravans or very large vans as the access will be too rough.
There are walking areas at rear of property. Be aware tropical North Queensland has paralysis ticks and we have snakes at times and visiting pigs.
Water can be supplied upon request. Power generators are permitted

If you love adventure, Garradunga sits on the doorstep of many beautiful outdoor adventures. Hike in the surrounding national parks; cycle or mountain bike on one of the many rainforest trails; fish or spot crocodiles in the Johnstone River – take a crocodile cruises; white water raft along the exhilarating Tully River; take a dip at the Babina Boulders or Josephine Falls; or snorkel the Great Barrier Reef. Set up camp and use the property as your base to explore the Cassowary Coast, Atherton Tablelands and the Great Barrier Reef.
Toilet and shower facilities are available (please supply your own toilet paper). The property has limited tank water only. Guests must also bring their own drinking and washing up water and must take all waste with them upon departure. Fire is allowed only within existing firepits. Other existing on-site facilities (including water) are not available to campers at present however we look forward to sharing the facilities and other accommodation options with you soon.

Our 20-acre exotic fruit farm backs onto World heritage rainforest and provides a relaxing base for which to explore the wet tropics south of Cairns. We have a beautiful freshwater swimming hole down the road, and also the Mulgrave River is very close if you want to do some fishing.The camping area is large, grassy and reasonably level, with space closer to the tree line, and space more out in the open. There is a firepit provided, and plenty of firewood around the place for you to help yourself to. We also welcome four-legged family members! We have had recent sightings of cassowary on our property so keep an eye out, you might just see one!We prefer self-contained campers, who have their own amenities, but we do have a toilet and shower up at the main house (about 50 metres away) you are welcome to use if needed. This is an unused bathroom downstairs so you will still have privacy. Access into the property is not suitable for large motorhomes. Entry will be too small for vehicles approx 8.5 metres long and 3.5 metres high.We grow exotic fruit on the property including limes, pomelos, mangosteens and more. When it's in season, you're welcome to sample some! Gordonvale is the nearest town, with a quiet historic charm, just 15 minutes drive away, while Cairns is around 25 minutes.

A beautiful 160 acre paddock that you can enjoy.
Cleared slashed areas beside the river. Enjoy a river swim to cool you down during summer and go for a cold dip during winter. River is also good for fishing during the right season. Access to river is 100 metres on graded walking track.
Unless you have a ‘booster ’there is very limited mobile coverage or internet. {enjoy the peace and solitude}
Access to the property is fourteen kilometres gravel, coming off the highway.
Sites are private separated from each other, some sites suit clothing optional guests
Site is 300 metres from road and provides privacy. Tents and small caravans are ideal. Not suitable for highway caravans or very large vans as the access will be too rough.
There are walking areas at rear of property. Be aware tropical North Queensland has paralysis ticks and we have snakes at times and visiting pigs.

If you love adventure, Garradunga sits on the doorstep of many beautiful outdoor adventures. Hike in the surrounding national parks; cycle or mountain bike on one of the many rainforest trails; fish or spot crocodiles in the Johnstone River – take a crocodile cruises; white water raft along the exhilarating Tully River; take a dip at the Babina Boulders or Josephine Falls; or snorkel the Great Barrier Reef. Set up camp and use the property as your base to explore the Cassowary Coast, Atherton Tablelands and the Great Barrier Reef.
Toilet and shower facilities are available (please supply your own toilet paper). The property has limited tank water only. Guests must also bring their own drinking and washing up water and must take all waste with them upon departure. Fire is allowed only within existing firepits. Other existing on-site facilities (including water) are not available to campers at present however we look forward to sharing the facilities and other accommodation options with you soon.

Beautiful walks around their property, offering many swimming holes. The Pugh Creek runs through the property, with easy access to the creek.
There is a great camp hut next to the main swimming hole...lights, fans, kayaks, noodles, basic kitchen....bloody fantastic place.
Paradise is a definite go to. We are Cairns locals & can't believe it too us so long to find "Paridise Camp". Going back for sure.

The service was great, the staff were so friendly and informative of what to do around the area. The camp facilities were kept so clean! Had an amazing time, would reccomend to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

We stayed on the powered site which was right next to the toilet and shower. Sheree was so friendly and welcoming, and directed us to a lovely work around her land, its a beautiful location and the cows and horses were a bonus!

We had a wonderful time at the Milla Milla camping site! Perfectly located near stunning waterfalls, the site provided a peaceful retreat. The owner was incredibly friendly, Clean facilities and beautiful, peaceful surroundings made for a memorable stay. Highly recommend! Thank you Nisha and Otto.

Definitely recommend. An easy drive from Cairns and close to amenities in Babinda, but you feel totally remote.
The undercover communal lounge/ dining is great for wet weather. The description of the sites can make it sound like you'll be sharing with others, but I felt totally remote (in a good way!). The creek is right by the sites and wonderful to hang out in. I didn't hear road noise at all.

We were really impressed with Tropical Hibiscus Caravan Park and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts were incredibly helpful with suggestions on local places to visit, the campsite was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed.

Camping at three falls holiday was lovely. The owners are welcoming and friendly. The property is beautiful, with a beautiful landscape view. It’s a nice quiet spot and just a short distance from the waterfall’s. I would recommend this spot to family and friends.
