Group site is set back 50m from the beach and can only be booked by 1 group at a time. It is a large flat area suitable for those traveling with friends. The diversity of the property showcases an amazing variety of vegitation, birdlife, and buterflies. Many walking trails allow for bird watchers and photographers to explore the wide diversity at Tide Water Park. I'm sorry to all, we have to reiterate this, but we have to due to some filthy campers. NO TOILET, NO ENTRY. We are disgusted to have to pick up used toilet paper. Sorry for the bluntness. A shovel does not cover as a toilet! Our place is a beautiful place and we will not allow this kind of degradation. The Beach is classified as a Green zone under Qld law which means fishing is excluded along the beach. You can fish at the creek mouth to the north. There is also creek access through the property but no camping there. A small boat can be launched and retrieved. Self sufficient camping only. No toilets, showers, dump points or power provided at this time. Horse yards are available if you wish to bring your horse for rides along the beach, obviously all at your own risk. Well behaved, quiet dogs are allowed, and must be kept within the campsite unless your walking them. Be respectful of others. Things to do here include, beach access (walks, drives), horse riding, bird watching, Fishing, Crabbing, A small wet land walk. Or just sit back and watch the beach change with the tide. What to bring and not bring, Insect repellent or be prepared to cover up when sandflies and midges are out. Torches, Sunscreen, rubbish bags. There are no facilities here, so you need to be fully self-contained. No wifi. No mobile coverage (great to get the kids off the screens). There is plenty of water, firewood and wildlife though. Sometimes you won't be able to access the site as creek floods in heavy rain - can be cut off. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Please note check in is between 2 pm and 5 pm unless arranged otherwise. Access is best suited to 4WD or High Clearance vehicles. Not suitable for small cars. The site is suitable for caravans/trailers 6 metres long or smaller. We can accommodate up to six vehicles on the site (for a large group. travelling together). Forest Flying rainforest activity is next door. We have two large, flat, grassed paddocks with sweeping mountain views. We offer up to six campsites, all accessible for any type of vehicle, and you choose where you want to pitch/park on arrival. Both paddocks have easy access to flushing toilets and hot showers. However, the lower paddock has our playground and undercover areas. Your own pets are welcome, we just ask you to please pick up after them. Campfires are permitted in the 2 designated firepits, or if you have your own firepit, brazier or similar. Bring your own firewood. We welcome campers here to enjoy our stunning and peaceful corner of the world, so no loud music please and generators off between the hours of 10pm - 8am.

Access is best suited to 4WD or High Clearance vehicles. Not suitable for small cars. The site is suitable for caravans/trailers 6 metres long or smaller. We can accommodate up to six vehicles on the site (for a large group. travelling together). Forest Flying rainforest activity is next door. We stayed for 2 nights and were lucky enough to get the entire campgrounds to ourselves. It was peaceful, scenic and not so far out of the way in case we needed supplies. No reception which was exactly what we were after. The creek wasn’t running and a little low at the time (early December) so no swimming for us but our Labrador had the time of her life. We had frequent visits from the horses, specifically Bo who just wanted to see what we were doing, always… Apart from Bo trying to steal our bread, and our Labrador getting a bit too close to Bo, it was the perfect little getaway and an incredible spot. The horses made great entertainment! Highly recommend for anyone, especially those with kids as there would be plenty of fun things to do

It pains me to recommend this place as I honestly don’t want to share it haha… such an absolute gem of a place. Our family can’t recommend this spot any more highly. One of the stand outs has to be the distance between sites. Even fully booked you wouldn’t feel in any way crowded in. The hosts are lovely and friendly. The beach is stunning and the turtles were a really special treat. The river is great for fishing and even better for crabbing , we got two massive bucks ! I would implore visitors to be respectful and sensible as I would hate for a few campers to ruin it for the rest of us. This area is a special slice of paradise and we are all lucky the owners are willing to share it with us all. Leave it as you found it or better. Thanks Claire, Paul , Jade , site inspector Rep and the other friendly doggos for making our visit so lovely .

Awesome as usual, the area gets better every time we go, there is always grass at the camp sites, plenty of firewood and fire places, the creek is fantastic and the kids are in it nearly all day, the horses and cows are friendly and just wander about, a great camp and a credit to Gary and Carmen. For them we want it to grow in popularity, for us, not so much, we don't want to share it.

We loved this place so much that we booked another stay before we left.

We had a lovely relaxing time at Illbilbie Station, we pulled up alongside the creek with the large shady trees.....too hot for a campfire but wood from an old fallen down tree was available to use in the firepits at each campsite. Horses visited while we were sitting around relaxing. Property was easy to find.

QUIET, and NATURALLY BEAUTIFUL. 7 camp sites to cater for a relaxing self contained getaway. The beach track has good 4WD access and is very quiet with secluded private camp sites along the track. Group site is set back 50m from the beach and can only be booked by 1 group at a time. It is a large flat area suitable for those traveling with friends. Please message us any questions you may have prior to booking to see what site is best suitable to your camping needs. The diversity of the property showcases an amazing variety of vegitation, birdlife, and buterflies. Many walking trails allow for bird watchers and photographers to explore the wide diversity at Tide Water Park. I'm sorry to all, we have to reiterate this, but we have to due to some filthy campers. NO TOILET, NO ENTRY. We are disgusted to have to pick up used toilet paper. Sorry for the bluntness. A shovel does not cover as a toilet! Our place is a beautiful place and we will not allow this kind of degradation. The Beach is classified as a Green zone under Qld law which means fishing is excluded along the beach. You can fish at the creek mouth to the north. There is also creek access through the property but no camping there. A small boat can be launched and retrieved. Self sufficient camping only. No toilets, showers, dump points or power provided at this time. Horse yards are available if you wish to bring your horse for rides along the beach, obviously all at your own risk. Well behaved, quiet dogs are allowed, and must be kept within the campsite unless your walking them. Be respectful of others. Things to do here include, beach access (walks, drives), horse riding, bird watching, Fishing, Crabbing, A small wet land walk. Or just sit back and watch the beach change with the tide. What to bring and not bring, Insect repellent or be prepared to cover up when sandflies and midges are out. Torches, Sunscreen, rubbish bags. No hunting allowed, No ATV's, side by sides, drones, guns or chainsaws. Generator usage only in the afternoon and early evening. There is sites catering for tents, camping trailers, caravans and up to 40 foot motorhomes. There is access to toilet/shower amenities, drinking water and rubbish amenities. Guests also have use of the WiFi, picnic tables and laundry Our fully equipped camp kitchen has all the amenities you need to prep your meals, including a kitchen bench with stools, a kettle, dish-washing station and stove/oven, dining table and other seating, and a TV. Enjoy the evenings warming your feet around the campfire under the milky way. Sites are 2WD accessible and can accommodate caravans, campervans and motorhomes. You will need to reverse into your designated spot. Dogs are welcome to holiday with you.
