Directions to get there were listed excellently. We were greeted upon entry and were given instructions on where to go to set up camp. The area was beautiful and the creek was a wonderful place to explore. There were somethings there for the kids to explore. Toilets on the bottom flat and accessible water was a great asset so close to camp. However we did feel a little lost. We weren't really told where we could and couldn't go and it's not listed as to where the location of the showers were. These were up on upper section as you drove in not on the flat near the toilets where I expected. So this was a bit of a walk as our car had the awning out. Don't get me wrong this was such a peaceful location and we loved it, but I believe there could be a bit more communication.

Lush, spacious camp grounds right on the banks of the river. Cool and fresh running river is so beautiful to swim in. Groovy art to view around the property.

Ben and Ash are lovely hosts! The site is absolutly beautiful with the fresh creek and well kept grounds. Toilets all around and the sculptures and wat not around from the Mushroom valley festival create a awsome vibe. Definitely recommend visiting for a relaxing stay if your in the area

What a truly magical camp. Mushroom Valley was a stunning location next to the river with plenty to do for 2 young kids. The water was incredible for swimming and the sites were huge. Super friendly and helpful hosts made this a perfect stay. Thanks so much.

Very lovely campsite, spacious areas with your own personal fire pit. We booked the riverside camping which had barely anyone there so we had the area to ourselves. Had a swim in the creek (we saw a water snake!) which was lovely to cool down. Dogs had a wonderful time too with heaps of space to run around. Would definitely stay again.

Day Visit - NO CAMPING
Beautiful place to spend the day, go for a swim and just enjoy nature. There's a good amount of shade by the river, it's a fantastic place for a picnic and afternoon swim. Ben and Ash are great hosts and you can certainly tell how much love has gone into this place, certainly worth making the trip out there❤️🍄

We absolutely loved Ash and Ben’s place! Such a perfect location with a beautiful creek metres from our tent. We were very lucky to have the whole place to ourselves and it was so peaceful. Had everything that we needed and more!

Absolutely enjoyed our stay at Mushroom Valley eco camp! Beautiful stay! Kids loved going down the rapids and floating down the river in their blow up boats and kayaks! Ben and Ash were so accommodating and so welcoming! We will so be back!

Ash was very welcoming and we loved our spot down near the river. Soaking in creek was great, given the heat and we enjoyed a nice SUP up the creek. Nice and quiet, but the bugs at night time, were a bit intense..... highly recommend stopping here for a weekend or more.
We tried driving up to Cathu State Forest look out, but the road from the state forest camping grounds was pretty average, so we never made it.

Great camping spot. There are toilets and cold showers available. Top place to chill out. Good swimming facilities, even has a pool ladder to climb down into the water. Plenty of area to choose from, spacious campsites.
And the best part, the hosts have got it set up for little kids plus the big ones..
Definitely a place to go back to.

We loved camping at Mushroom valley. It’s a beautiful quiet spot, stunning fresh water creek with a mix of deep water and areas you can stand in. Composting toilets are well maintained, we had no smell from them, even though it was hot when we camped. Great place to unplug and relax!

I absolutely 💯 LOVE this spot. Well looked after grounds, stunning location, large swim hole and friendly hosts. Better yet , they accept pets which is awesome when your not one to have any of the family miss out!

Ben & Ash are wonderful hosts. We love that we were able to enjoy our own space whilst still having friendly neighbours a good distance away.
Composting toilets nearby were a convenience and we were camping right next to the waterhole entrance which the kids loved!
Having a BBQ at this space was also a nice treat - the ‘O’ ring was a bit past it’s used by date so we replaced that 😊
We really enjoy coming camping here at least once a year and the Azure space is definitely a welcome home away from home.

Ben and Ash were wonderful, friendly hosts as always. This is our second stay and won't be our last. It's a beautiful, tranquil place and the camping beside the waterhole is fantastic and uncrowded.

Wow what an amazing site! Definitely the most beautiful campground we stayed at on our trip from brissy to cairns
Ash was a very easy going and welcoming host I really did not want to leave and would love to stay again! So much open space so it was very private
