Hillier Hideaway is a beautiful 5-acre property located 2 minutes from Coolalinga Central. With 4 well shaded, spacious sites this is the perfect place to pull up and explore Darwin and its surrounds. Sites are not visible from the road and there are no dirt bike tracks or open land adjoining the property, making this a very secluded and safe site. We can accommodate vans up to 24 feet and have 1 dedicated site for either a camper trailer or tent. All sites have no power or water, so you will need to be fully self-sufficient. There is however a single shower and toilet for use if needed. There is a dump point at the Caravan Park across from Coolalinga Central that can be used for a small fee. All sites are well maintained with plenty of shade, please note during the dry season the grassed area will die off. There will be areas allocated for small campfires and guests must follow fire bans as the restrictions come up. There are wild peacocks that come in at dawn and dusk to get their daily feed, guests are welcome to come watch, Burdekin ducks and possums at night. Pets are allowed however dogs must remain on a lead as there is allot of wildlife that call the property home.

Set up your self contained caravan or trailer on this working mango farm in beautiful Tumbling Waters. Sunsets, wallabies and loads of bird life! There are no facilities here, so campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace. Litchfield National Park and Mary River National Park are only a short distance from here and feature incredibly diverse landscapes combined with ancient Aboriginal culture. Or just sit back at camp and relax amongst the mango trees. Come and enjoy a super relaxing stay.

Relax on Bastin is situated on a quiet no-through road with Howard Springs and Coolalinga shopping centres only 5 minutes drive and Darwin city only 30 minutes. The property has ample level space and shaded sites for tent, camper or caravan parking. There are fruit trees and seasonal tropical plants including bananas, pawpaw, pineapple and passionfruit. There is also a seasonal herb and veggie garden with chilli, basil and mint. Power and hot water are available from the ablution block with a toilet, shower and a washing machine along with a covered communal area including a gas BBQ, fire pits and BBQ plate for campfire cooking. A short 5-minute drive from shopping centres in Coolalinga and 10 minutes from the Gateway shopping centre in Palmerston. Relax on Bastin is centrally located and it serves as a great base to explore nearby Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks and only half an hour from the Jumping Crocs in the Adelaide River.

Quiet, relaxed bush campsites only a couple kms along a dirt road which has power, water hook up & very rustic portable loos/showers plus rubbish bins. Only one other couple onsite during our 4 days here so it's a good rural base, half an hour to Darwin city. Midges really come out at dusk so you need to retreat to your caravan or tent in early evenings. Lots of birdlife, nice view looking out over horses and brahman cattle in adjoinging paddocks.

This was a beautiful spot to stay. A little oasis of greenery, with a lovely shade campsite and grass to pitch our tent on. There was a great bathroom set up with toilet and shower which was very clean and well kept. Andrew and Michelle were amazing hosts. They checked in on us daily and were more than happy to help or answer questions. They even provided our 2yo with toys to entertain her at camp! The peacocks were a real hit with our little one, she is still talking about them 2 weeks later! I highly recommend this stay.

This site has been very relaxing, central to Darwin and shopping centres but still close to tourist attractions , Tim was very helpful in extending our stay , our only criticism would be with the power, only10 amp plugs when most vans have 15 amp , even tho there are some extension leads provided its not ideal. Having a washing machine to use free of charge is a plus.

Beautiful spot close enough to everything but with a country , bush atmosphere. Big sites with only us and another very quiet family camping. Amenities were clean and were all that was needed. Tim was very accommodating, letting adjust our booking at the last minute. I would suggest ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper as neighbouring dogs barked quite a bit some nights. Other than that a great place to camp close to Darwin. Thanks Tim !!
