Secure parking for caravans/RV's on 2.5 acres in the quiet suburb of Marlow Lagoon, Palmerston. The block has ample space for any size RV and offers a secure place to sleep inside the 6ft fence perimeter. The block is situated next to a railway line with a walking track alongside to a local saltwater creek. All sites have access to communal fire pit and water hose. Some sites have power available if needed. We currently do not offer toilets, showers or laundry facilities, so this site is suitable for self-contained campers. Approximately a 5-minute drive to Palmerston City, 20 minutes to Darwin City and 15 minutes to Coolalinga.

Our location is perfectly situated, only 5 kilometers away from the Darwin River Tavern and a supermarket, making it convenient for your needs. Within a 5 to 10-minute drive, you'll find the enchanting Berry Springs, along with shops and a tavern. Immerse yourself in the refreshing swimming holes, visit the wildlife park, go on exciting barramundi adventures, and enjoy fishing at the nearby park—all easily accessible from our property. If you wish to explore further, it's just a 45-minute drive to Darwin city or a 25-minute drive to Palmerston. For those seeking natural wonders, you can venture to the stunning waterfalls of Litchfield National Park or the popular Dundee beach, each just under an hour's drive away. At our campsite, you can enjoy the warmth and coziness of campfires in the designated area, though only permitted outside fire danger periods to ensure everyone's safety. We have since developed the property, purchased livestock and introduced more fruit and veg plants and trees to maintain a ‘sustainable living’ lifestyle. This campsite will suit self-contained campers who have their own camping toilet/shower. There is access to drinking water and rubbish facilities. If you don’t mind the serenades of pigs, goats, chooks or native wildlife, you will enjoy the surrounding environment with access to fresh produce!

We had a warm welcome on arrival. The sites are well shaded from the NT sun, plenty of space and very tranquil setting. The hosts were wonderful and very helpful. They have good knowledge of the area and gave us great ideas and places to see to fill in our days. We received clear instructions and prompt responses. They are the best we have come across in our travels around Australia.

Great facilities and they had plenty of knowledge about what to see in Darwin. Highly recommend this place to stay if you are travelling to Darwin.

Awesome property with fantastic hosts that are very caring! We were 3 families from 3 states, a place to meet up. Camping between the mango trees was shady with toilet facilities as well. Highly recommend this peaceful property. The best stay in Darwin.

We had an excellent time staying here. It’s so lovely camping under the mango trees and with only 4 spots for fellow campers it feels very secluded. The hosts were really nice and made sure our trip to Darwin was as nice as could be. As we were in a rooftop tent there were some early morning bird sounds that could make you stir if sleeping lightly but that’s roof top tent life and no blame to the hosts.

we loved our one night stay amongst the Mango Trees, it meant for a shady morning and afternoon which was fantastic. both Gerhard and Hanlie were welcoming and friendly (as were their 3 little dogs!), even let us have a swim in their pool. soft green grass, water available and clean toilets all close to town, would definitely recommend this stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Mambo Top End! Such a beautiful, peaceful spot amongst the mango trees. Lovely green grass, spacious and private sites with power and water. Great location and the perfect base to explore Litchfield NP, Berry Springs with 2 shopping centres just 15 minutes away and the city just a 30 minute drive. Gerhard and Hanlie were the perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. This was our favourite stay in the top end. Thank you for having us!

Enough space for camping, the driveway is a bit narrow but was fine for our caravan.

This camping spot is an absolute gem! Very private and quiet, a lovely place amongst vegetation. The outdoor shower and toilet are simple but totally adequate. Electricity and shade provided. Jeff is a friendly guy with lots of local knowledge. This was our favourite camping during our two week NT travel. Highly recommend!

From the minute we drove in we felt a sense of calm, Chan was very friendly and accommodating. She offered us to swim in their pool and use their outdoor bbq area. There are 2 sites, we were on Site 1 where you can access power & water however Site 2 is totally self contained. We were there for 9 nights with another family joining us on Site 2 for a few nights. It was absolutely beautiful, so quiet, peaceful, safe to leave your van and things outside. It is a 15 minute drive into Darwin which was never an issue for us, we visited friends in a caravan park and they were packed in like sardines…not my cup of tea. Thankyou for providing your amazing property for us to enjoy our time in Darwin, we will definitely be back.

We had a great stay in between the Mango trees at Gerhard's farm! Some of the most lush grass we have camped on all over Australia, let alone up here in the NT. Gerhard was super accommodating and communicated very clearly before and throughout our stay. The facilities were clean and we were grateful to have access to water and power at such a reasonable price. We would come back here in a heartbeat!

Parking between the mango trees was delightful, very calm and restful, shaded from the daytime sun and surrounded by greenery. Weekend Trip to Mambo Lodge

We really enjoyed our stay at Gerhard’s. To park our caravan in such a beautiful setting was such a treat. We highly recommend the mango orchard if you want peace away from the city but easy access to visit Darwin and the surrounding area. We would definitely stay again and very much enjoyed our chats with Gerhard and Hanlie, who were always on hand to help us. Thank you for making our stay in Darwin just perfect.
