We are farmers, living the dream on 500 acres in beautiful Bellingen. Our farm is called Levenvale Farm. You will feel a million miles away, yet we are only 7mins into the town of Bellingen. We run an organic cattle property and have found a few spots around our farm to share with campers and glampers. Our campsites are "Beyond the Bridge" and "Old Flat Camp". Both are on cattle paddocks and have private access to Hydes Creek. Hydes Creek is a murky sandy base creek. There's lots of logs so its not recommend to jump in, but it's beautiful to cool off in the creek on a hot day. Both campsites have access to our compost toilet, and camping shower (gas hot water). If you prefer a bit more comfort or don't have your own camping gear, you can escape the hustle and enjoy being perched up on one of the highest points on the farm (with incredible views), in our Farm Huts. Both mHuts are furnished with beds and linen with limited power. Both gave private ensuite with compost toilet, gas hot water shower and basic kitchen. Book these Huts via our farm website. HIDING IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERYWHERE! Pure. Unadulterated. WILD. 104 very private acres, securely sandwiched between a National Park Nature Reserve and State Forest. On a dead end road. No agriculture or farms upstream, only one other like-minded property owner. Secluded, but hiding smack bang in the middle of everywhere! From vertiginous sandstone cliffs on which epipetrics cling tight, right through to palm-filled rainforests, and with two quite different creek systems (including a monster waterfall), you'll be spoiled for things to do and places to explore - without even leaving the property! HISTORY This land is Gumbaynggirr land. Please be particularly mindful of our First Nation's long presence on this land. In the 1800's, white men came seeking Red Cedar, closely followed by settlers having a go at dairying; though logging has remained this area's mainstay. This special property, despite last being selectively logged about 50 years ago, hosts many huge old-growth trees remaining steadfast for your discovery and wonder. And many more are continuing to grow out too. About 35 years ago about nine of this property's eastern-most 104 acres became part of a far larger nashi pear orchard which filled much of the flats of this top end of the valley that you see today. Ultimately they failed to set good commercial fruit, and the rootstocks took over. You can see remnant rows of these trees just south of the property, from along the road. (Beware though - they have spikes that could puncture Caterpillar tracks!) MORE RECENTLY extensive lantana control efforts have been undertaken as we now move into revegetating with native species and implementing a permaculture plan. The sites are surrounded by rugged mountainous bush land with views, trails, cliffs, 3 creeks to explore and includes a private lake ‘Lake Arid’ with its own island, ‘Dead Dog Island’. Swim, paddle, fish, play. Metres away is another private swimming hole ‘Pants Off Pond’ stocked with Silver Perch and Bass. So whether you indulge in pants off, or leave them on and just fish it’s up to you. Explore a little further and you’ll find ‘The Abyss’ a former micro quarry, 9m deep waterhole. The creeks have waterfalls, swimming holes, pure and clean, though are a rugged unmarked hike. The sites are site only. You’ll need to take care of your waste, water, rubbish and power. Generator is ok, we’re out of earshot, so is everyone else. Each site has a picnic table and a fire pit and an abundance of ‘cut your own’ firewood upon the ground. Remember, fires this time of year are for ‘cooking only’, so be sure to bring those marshmallows… Pet Friendly, 4WD friendly with a bunch of serious challenges too… Horse friendly too, yep, there’s a yard to keep them too, up by the house. Accessible by 2WD with sites with enough space for any size caravan or motor home. While exploring, if you find a spot you’d rather camp, simply ask. We live on the property so help is nearby for any issues and the access road is shared. Peace, quiet and nature abounds.

A truly unique camping experience overlooking the wide spanse of the Clarence only a short distance from the small village of Copmanhurst, perfect for a group booking of up to 20. Enjoy your own private site with a sandy beach @40m below site, east of the Copmanhurst boat ramp. Take a walk down the steepish soft sandy cattle tracks to the waters edge and enjoy yourself. Note: Sand can be very hot! Obedient dogs permitted and that they are on a lead or under control with livestock or cattle dogs around. No amenities so campers need to BYO everything they need and leave no trace. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place - check with host. Only 15 mins drive from the town of Macksville, 45 minutes from Coffs Harbour, 45 minutes from Port Macquarie and 20 minutes or so (but who counts) from the famous Pub With no Beer (which does have beer). This property is extremely private with a number of camp sites that have you feeling like the rest of the world no longer exists. There are six dams and views to the coast (from the top of the hill). You get to share it with a couple of horses and a few cows but it's ok they don't like sleeping in tents or caravans. Sunsets, sunrises and night time star gazing. It's an ideal place to de-stress and reconnect with nature. Welcoming self - contained campers who bring there own amenities. There is access to drinking water but otherwise everything is BYO and take away all your rubbish please. You can choose to either be completely secluded and away from everyone. 4WD access or walk in with tents. Or you can set up closer to the entrance road and roadway (more suitable to caravans). There are lovely walks on the property itself or go for a casual stroll up the dirt road but watch out for the 3 or 4 cars every couple of hours or so. Views are amazing, air is incredible and the night sky is breathtaking. Campfires are possible but only in some months. The ideal place to get away from it all but close enough to Coffs Coast Tourist attractions, including amazing places to eat. Your pet is welcome to camp with you, but please do not let them stray onto neighbours' farms or chase stock. They run the risk of being baited or shot. There is stock on the property so please leave all gates as you find them. If they are open they stay open. If closed they stay closed.

We have several shaded areas surrounding small dams and springs, scattered throughout the 20 acres. Located approximately 1km off Big River Way (formally the Pacific Highway) this is approximately 2km from the New Highway off-ramp. We are fortunate to have a sealed road to the front gate. The allocated camping area is 500 metres inside the front gate, located in-front of our front dam. The House is located 1km from the front gate. Currently, we do not have any livestock on the property. Dog friendly. No amenities so campers need to have own camping toilet and leave no trace. Good access for 2WD, caravans and RVs. Hacketts Haven is our 68 acre property, located near Copmanhurst which boasts your own exclusive panoramic view overlooking the Clarence River. The site is approximately 14 metres clear/elevated from the river (which makes it very safe if the river was to rise above minor or moderate flooding). A truly unique camping experience overlooking the wide spanse of the Clarence only a short distance from the small village of Copmanhurst, perfect for a group booking of up to 20. Enjoy your own private site with a sandy beach @40m below site, east of the Copmanhurst boat ramp. Take a walk down the steepish soft sandy cattle tracks to the waters edge and enjoy yourself. Note: Sand can be very hot! Obedient dogs permitted and that they are on a lead or under control with livestock or cattle dogs around. No amenities so campers need to BYO everything they need and leave no trace. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place - check with host. NOTE: No treated wood to be brought or burnt on the property The Rest Point Hotel sells bags of firewood. As per Hipcamp guidelines, be fire safe, dispose of garbage responsibly and leave no trace. We arrived around 10 pm and were instantly blown away — the night sky was unreal. We lay back and could even spot the Milky Way. We were greeted by Molly the dog, who showed us to our spot 😄 She was so friendly. We woke up to a beautiful sunrise. The facilities were excellent, having a hot shower before hitting the road was absolute bliss and much appreciated. A lovely, peaceful space and a truly memorable stay. Thanks so much for a great experience — we’d happily stay again.

Beyond the creek was the ultimate. Your own private area with plenty of space and felt secluded among the mountain range. Stayed mid week and only saw about 3 cars go past the shared road. As a solo 30s girl camping with her dog, it was the perfect location - plenty of space to play with the dog and a nice stroll to go and visit the cows. Simple bathroom just a short walk across the road. So quick to drive into town but far enough to feel away from everyone and everything. I would highly recommend this space again! The creek was great for my dog, but not something you’d pop into yourself, in my opinion. A nice little picnic table set up as well. I loved it!!!!

Katie met us at the gate. She was very friendly and offered her pool to the kids. There is a toilet at the back of the garage and the wide open paddock. Molly (Katie's dog) was an absolute hit with the kids! She is super friendly and playful. The scenery is quite beautiful too - rolling hills on the background, so tranquil. I would definitely recommend Katie's farm for family with kids.
