This is a great place to camp with a couple of large flat grassy sites right on the riverās edge. Very well maintained grounds and was a great place just to relax and enjoy the peace and quite. Thanks so much for sharing your place with us.

Lovely level spot by the riverfront. Only overnighted as travelling thru but could spend a couple days esp if have a kayak or small boat to explore the river. Nice and clean spot and easy access. Hopefully will get back. Hosts very friendly and responsive. And our dog enjoyed the river too! Great spot for all.

When we arrived we were greeted by the beautiful little teddy who came to introduce himself to us. We set up by the river and thought how absolutely beautiful and peaceful the spot was. Finished our day with a swim and watched the sunset. We stayed 2 nights and wished we couldāve stayed more. I highly recommend this camp site. The hosts were welcoming and Teddy just made our stay perfect. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property ā¤ļøā¤ļø

We loved camping here. Plenty of space to spread out along the river. Immaculately mowed flat lawn area. This gem of a spot truly gives the best of both worlds, peace and tranquility by the river(which is great for swimming) but close to Macksville for supplies or only a 15 minute drive from the beautiful beaches at Scottās Head or Nambucca. Great spot also for our dog who enjoyed the freedom of not being tied up in a caravan park. Thanks Lee, Mike and Teddy for an awesome stay.

Great space for families. Something for everyone. Kids had a great time swimming in the river, playing ball in the open space and having fun with Teddy the dog.
Lee was great with information on where to fish at the river, best place to swim in the river and closest beaches. We will be back!

First time out in our caravan..what a perfect initiation. Great area, not camping on top of each other. Something for everyone. Swimming, fishing or just reading a book.

Our stay at Riverlea Green was absolute bliss. The riverside grounds were perfect for us to set up our van with loads of room to manoeuvre cars & boats. The camping area was not at all crowded & therefore lovely & peaceful. The river provided excellent swimming, boating & fishing.
The hostās Lee, Mike & Teddy were most friendly & very welcoming - excellent hosts!

Great off grid camp. All sites directly overlooking the river bank. No need to unhitch your RV as you drive straight onto wherever you choose to set-up. Trees along the river bank for shade. Regularly mowed with excellent grass cover so we didnāt need to use a floor mat. We cooled off in the river where thereās a large shallow swimming area at one end of the park. Drinking water on tap at near where we camped. Itās a private property, thatās well fenced to keep their cows off the camping area. We felt very safe. Lovely hosts to welcome you. Weāll be back.

Camping at Lee's place is amazing. Quiet, with easy access to the River and to Macksville. This is our second trip here and I'm sure we will be back again.

We had a great short stay at this riverfront camp site! In a beautiful place right near the river. Lots of space to get away from other campers and a super friendly dog Teddy who roams around and was great with our Cocker Spaniel. A great spot for a pit stop on the road.

We loved camping here! Highly, highly recommend. We were absolutely blown away with how beautiful it is - the perfect spot for swimming and fishing (not that we caught much) as well as just lazing around.
Our daughter enjoyed the little swing set. Our pooch has literally never been happier. Teddy was great with our dog, 4 year old and baby.
Easy drive into Nambucca Heads which we did a handful of times. Nambucca heads is incredible!
Weāre on a year long road trip and this was the perfect hipcamp to start the journey.

What a great stay! If you are after some peace and quiet right on a relaxing river to swim, SUP, boat, Kayak etc on then this place is perfect. Sites are all grass with plenty of room between campers/caravanners. The closest people near us would have been 30m plus so you had complete privacy.
It is close to the M1, local towns and beaches and was a perfect place for my wife and I to relax and unwind for 10 days. The hosts Lee and Mike were very good and made you feel very welcome.
It is also a great place if you have a dog that likes to be off lead and their dog Teddy was always wondering around to play with the other dogs as well, he is a beautifully natured dog and very respectful of people and other dogs.
We loved our stay here and have been to several Hip Camps in the last few years, this would be the best one we have been to. Private, affordable, very quiet and the location was great.

Beautiful spot on the river. So peaceful. Hosts really lovely and helpful. Stayed 1 night before we had to move on but would have loved to stay longer. Lots of space along the river front with camps nicely spread out. Kids loved the crabs on the bank and the fish. Big sand bar out to the middle of the river so a nice spot for the kids to swim.

We loved everything about this place. the level ground, the soft well maintained grass area and the easy to access river.
Our dogs enjoyed being off leash, running around and swimming.
Itās just a shame we had to leave a day early to avoid packing up our camper trailer wet.
But we will return.

Nice flat areas all open to the water. It was amazing. Quiet, and enjoyed having a chat to the owners. Highly recommend this hipcamp. Would definitely come back again and stay. Even saw dolphins in the water on Christmas day. Such a treat.

Our favourite hipcamp so far. The river was great to swim in and fish, we caught flattys and bream. Site is well maintained and the host are super nice as well. 10/10 would recommend
