Platypus Waterhole

Platypus Waterhole is rented out as one site exclusive for the booking. We charge all guests a one-off exclusivity site fee. This applies to all guests whether you book one night or seven nights. You need to add this to your booking.This is an exclusive private camping area on the beautiful Blackheath Creek.The camping area has a fantastic shelter/camp kitchen with internal fireplace, wood fired stove, sink, running water & a preparation area together with a gas BBQ & large dining table with bench seats. There is hot water and an open air shower. A long drop toilet is located nearby. At night the shelter is lit by solar powered lights & the glow of the campfire. The shelter is accessible by 4WD. Dogs are not permitted. Limited firewood is provided.

Aurora-Exclusive Mountains area

Aurora is set on 300 acres of natural terrain with breath taking escarpment views, an abundance of animal life a running stream and dams

The property offers multiple camping spots located only 2 hrs from Sydney's inner city CBD. It is a secluded location, you will be sent a map with clear directions on how to find us once booking is confirmed.

Dogs are welcome but must be on a lead and well behaved around native animals and livestock. 4WD and AWD sites available no 2WD access

With only a 15min - 20min drive to Jenolan Caves Aurora is the perfect camp spot for a weekend of adventure or take some time to reflect, relax and refocus. Campfires permitted if restrictions aren't in place and wood can be purchased in advance ready to go. 

Guest are expected to remove all their rubbish from the site - leave only footprints.

'The Refinery' at Hartley Vale

Built on the site of the old Hartley Vale oil shale works that closed in 1916, 'The Refinery" was re-established in 2018 as an organic garlic farm now owned by James and Michelle and their two children. The farm features a hempcrete building named 'The Stinking Rose' used for drying and curing garlic that also acts as a big room for garlic feasts during planting (March, April and May each year). The building also houses toilet and shower facilities for guests when camping on site. On some evenings, the sky puts on a real show of golden sun rays with pink, purple and blue clouds while swallows flit across the garden beds catching moths. Our guests like to sit around their campfires watching the spectacular show while kids and dogs run around without the burden of leashes or noise of city traffic.

Eiden Hill

Eiden Hill is a beautiful well maintained property in Kurrajong overlooking Sydney. Conveniently located not too far from town but far enough to enjoy the serenity. Water available all around the property, take your pick of a few different camp sites.                                                 

Ava Aria Campground

The 48 acre property is located in Hampton and offers a mostly flat grassy terrain. There is a small river to the left side of the property when you enter the gates which you are welcome to enjoy. We are located between the Blue Mountains and Jenolan Caves with easy access to both.You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. Access to National Park via the property which has plenty of beautiful walks and stunning scenery. There is plenty of wildlife around the property and bird watching opportunities.The Hampton Pub is nearby and is a popular spot that offers great food. Pets are welcome off leash but please ensure they are kept under your control and do not disturb the wildlife. Fires are permitted outside of fire restrictions but campers MUST bring their own fire pit/drum.Dogs are welcome. Please keep pets under control and be mindful of wildlife.
